Gerald Wallace suffered a heel contusion during Wednesday's game and will not return.

He was in a lot of pain and it's a little surprising that he was questionable to return for almost 30 minutes. Wallace has the nickname "Crash" for a reason and he's really dealt with a multitude of injuries yet again this year. The Nets could go with a smaller lineup and put MarShon Brooks with the first unit, but Jerry Stackhouse is starting the second half. Brooks has been playing well, so he's worth a look in deeper formats.

Luol Deng scored an efficient 21 points during a win over the Hornets on Friday, adding four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

That's good for a tidy 75.0 true shooting percentage. This has been a great matchup for Deng with the Hornets not having great defenders at power forward. In six games, he averaged 19.7 points, 6.3 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.5 blocks and 3.0 treys. He's certainly on the radar for DFS in Game 7.
Apr 29 - 11:47 PM

Kemba Walker scored a playoff career-high 37 points during a Game 6 97-90 loss to the Heat on Friday, adding three rebounds, five assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

He needed some help. Walker was 14-of-30 from the field for his 37 while the other six non-center Hornets scored a combined 23 points. Walker scored 14 points during his 11 minutes in the fourth quarter, but Dwyane Wade was just too strong. If the Hornets want to get a win, Walker will need to be the hero on Sunday in Game 7.
Apr 29 - 11:28 PM

Austin Rivers (face) is probable to return on Friday.

He needed stitches to two different cuts, but he'll be back out there. The Clippers will need Rivers, too.
Apr 29 - 11:11 PM

Paul George scored 21 points during a 101-83 Game 6 victory over the Raptors on Friday, adding 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 40 minutes.

This was basically the bizarro version of Game 5. The Pacers got red hot in the second half with an 18-0 run to put the game out of reach. George checked out with 3:08 left due to garbage time, so he would've been at 43 minutes had the game been close. There was talk of him playing 48 minutes before this game, so he'll likely be in the 43-48 range in Game 7 on Sunday. You almost have to start him in DFS.
Apr 29 - 11:07 PM

Myles Turner was awesome in 33 minutes against the Raptors on Friday with 15 points, nine rebounds, one steal and four blocks.

It was his best game of the series. Turner played most of his minutes at center in Game 5, but he was much more comfortable away from the basket at the power forward spot tonight. Plus, his rim protection was superb during this game. The Pacers stole him in the draft as long as he can stay healthy.
Apr 29 - 11:00 PM

DeMar DeRozan struggled yet again during a blowout 101-83 loss to the Pacers on Friday, making 3-of-13 from the field for eight points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and four turnovers.

That 34-point game from Tuesday seems like a distant memory. The Raptors were smoked in the second half due to giving up an 18-0 run to put the game out of reach. DeRozan has flopped big time in five of the six games to put his team in a tight spot. He continues to waste possessions on contested mid-range jumpers with too many turnovers. He'll need a decent game on Sunday in Game 7.
Apr 29 - 10:48 PM

Austin Rivers, J.J. Redick, Luc Mbah a Moute, Jeff Green and DeAndre Jordan will start on Friday.

He Clippers are going bigger in this game, but don't expect the overall minutes to change. Green should still be very busy in the first unit and obviously there's no need to panic on Jamal Crawford.
Apr 29 - 10:28 PM

The Lakers hired Luke Walton as their head coach on a multi-year contract.

Well, this helps explain why the Lakers dumped Byron Scott so late. Walton went 39-4 this season, including an NBA record 24-0 start. He was on the 2009 and 2010 Lakers title teams and is a 10-year vet. Walton will finish this season as the assistant to Steve Kerr before he takes over with his new team. This is a marvelous start for the Lakers after a couple down seasons to get the hottest coaching candidate out there. The next big day for the Lakers will be on lottery day because their draft pick is top-three protected (55 percent chance to keep).

Nicolas Batum (left foot strain) is doubtful to return on Friday.

This is the same left foot strain Batum suffered in Game 2 and kept him out of two games. Batum could be limited going forward here, which means more run for Jeremy Lin, Frank Kaminsky, Marvin Williams and Courtney Lee. He checked out with six points, one rebound, one assist and one turnover in 15 minutes.
Apr 29 - 10:10 PM

Coach Doc Rivers said he will change his starting lineup for Game 6 on Friday.

It could be Jeff Green or Wes Johnson coming in for Austin Rivers or Jamal Crawford. The lineup change shouldn't really affect the minutes, so DFS players shouldn't be making any major tweaks.
Apr 29 - 9:13 PM

Patrick Patterson will start again on Friday against the Pacers.

Patterson was playing well before Game 5, but he was arguably the worst player in the rotation on Tuesday. This likely means the Raptors will use their smaller second unit again, which was fantastic to help pull off the comeback. Expect to see a decent amount of Norman Powell tonight, but he's not a great DFS option.
