Nate Robinson was on fire off the bench in Thursday's win over the Knicks, scoring 35 points with three boards, two assists, one block and five 3-pointers.

He shot 10-of-18 from the field and hit all 10 free throws. Nate was fired up most of the game and was doing Steve Novak's championship-belt celebration after hitting his huge 3-pointers. His 35 points off the bench tonight were the most for a Bulls player since Ben Gordon's 37 back in 2008. Robinson will have his bad plays and he was burned in the post all night by J.R. Smith, but the Bulls won't be missing Derrick Rose too bad with nights like these from Nate.

It was Khris Middleton's turn for a big game on Saturday in a loss to the Hawks, scoring 21 points with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

It's almost like coach Jason Kidd is flipping a coin on who he's giving his minutes to. Middleton scored just two points on Friday and wasn't over 24 minutes in any of his previous four games, so it's hard to be bullish on him. He's not a waiver-wire target in standard leagues.
Dec 28 - 12:45 AM

Jeff Teague scored 25 points in a 90-85 win over the Bucks on Saturday with eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

Needless to say, he's back. Teague missed three games earlier this month and played in just 24 minutes in each of his last two games. He was playing well before the injury and he should keep the ball rolling against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Dec 28 - 12:34 AM

Derrick Favors posted a massive line on Saturday, finishing with 17 points, 15 boards, three assists, three steals and five blocks in 34 minutes.

He also shot 7-of-11 from the field, and was clearly the most dominant player on the court Saturday. The fact that he did this against the 76ers should be factored in, but this was a great performance nonetheless. As long as Favors stays healthy, more lines similar to this will be on the horizon.
Dec 28 - 12:33 AM

Michael Carter-Williams shot just 2-of-20 from the field in a loss to the Jazz on Saturday, finishing with eight points, four boards, six assists, and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

He was terrible Saturday, and to add to his misery he even turned the ball over six times. MCW is one of the most inefficient players in the league, and his shooting percentages and turnovers make him really tough to own in standard leagues. That being said, his numbers will continue to be inflated as long as he continues to see big minutes for the 76ers, and he will continue to be a triple-double threat every time he takes the floor. Owners must take the good with the bad.
Dec 28 - 12:13 AM

Nerlens Noel (ankle) is going to get X-rays after Saturday's game against the Jazz.

He briefly left the game after landing awkwardly on his ankle, but he returned moments later and finished with five points, 10 boards, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes. The 76ers are known to be extremely cautious with injuries so it is possible that Noel could see some time on the sidelines. We will pass along updates as soon as we know more, and we would expect Henry Sims, Robert Covington, and Furkan Aldemir to fill the void should Noel miss any time. Stay tuned.
Dec 28 - 12:05 AM

Nikola Pekovic (ankle) has increased his workload and was able to run on a anti-gravity treadmill at 80 percent on Saturday.

He is scheduled to have an MRI next week in the hope that he will be cleared to run on his full weight soon. However, he is still not close to a return and Minnesota has no reason to rush him back as they are firmly out of the playoff race. Pekovic's eventual return could hurt the value of Gorgui Dieng, but Dieng should still be owned in all leagues for the rest of the way due to his upside and how injury-prone Pekovic is.
Dec 27 - 11:45 PM

Kevin Martin (wrist) is making good progress, and is expected to be re-evaluated in two weeks.

He had surgery on Nov. 25 and the initial diagnosis was 6-8 weeks so it looks like he is on course to return in January as expected. Martin can be picked up for owners in need of 3-point shooting and scoring but expectations need to be tempered as Minnesota will likely ease him back slowly. We will pass along further updates as needed.
Dec 27 - 11:34 PM

Jimmy Butler scored a game-high 33 points in a 107-100 win over the Pelicans on Saturday with five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals.

This is getting old. Over his last six games, Butler has averaged 26.3 points, 7.2 boards, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 triples on 51.5 percent from the field. He is doing all of this with Derrick Rose on the court and it's clear his coach trusts him. Butler is playing like an All-Star and he looks like a he's going to do it for a while.
Dec 27 - 11:24 PM

Ricky Rubio (ankle) said that he felt 'good not great' after doing some 5-on-0 work at practice Friday.

He won't take contact in practice until he does feel a little better and also added that he has no return date in mind. We still think he will be able to return in January, but this report is a little disappointing. However, Rubio should be owned in all leagues and his owners will have to remain patient for the time being.
Dec 27 - 11:09 PM

Anthony Davis played great in his hometown debut during a 107-100 loss to the Bulls on Saturday, scoring 29 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and six blocks in 41 minutes.

Obviously his little hand issue from Friday was not a factor. After a minor slump earlier this month, he's putting up huge numbers in his last four with averages of 27.5 points, 11.0 boards, 0.8 steals and 3.8 blocks on 54.2 percent from the field and 90.0 percent from the line. Yeah, he's good.
Dec 27 - 10:51 PM

Nerlens Noel (ankle) had to leave the game in the third quarter of Saturday's game but has since returned.

This is great news considering how cautious the 76ers are, and it appears that Noel has dodged a bullet here. We will pass along any further updates as soon as we know more. Stay tuned.
