Ricky Rubio scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Wolves to a road win on Saturday, making 8-of-18 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs with five rebounds, 10 assists and five steals.

Talk about a bounce-back performance -- Rubio came in shooting 9.7 percent from the field in the Wolves' past three games (3-of-31). His legs are tired and he's playing through a sore left shoulder, but he was inspirational tonight against a Suns team which is giving up 104.8 points per game in April. Let's hope he closes the season strong vs. the Jazz on Monday and the Spurs on Wednesday.

Marcus Smart (hand) is available to play on Friday against the Pistons.

The Celtics will go with their usual lineup of Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Aron Baynes. As for Smart, it'll be interesting to see how he fits with Terry Rozier playing well.

The Hawks are nearing a buyout with Ersan Ilyasova, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

This comes as a big surprise after Ilyasova said he didn't want to have to relocate. It's unclear what Ilyasova's next move is, but he would still have time to join a contender to be on a playoff roster. This move is big news for John Collins, and it should get more minutes to DeAndre Bembry, Mike Muscala and maybe even Andrew White III.
Feb 23 - 4:12 PM

Jordan Bell (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday against the Thunder.

He did say he'll "probably" be ready for the road tip that starts on Monday at Madison Square Garden. The Warriors moving Zaza Pachulia out of the starting lineup is good news for Bell, and coach Steve Kerr said that Bell should be in the rotation upon his return. Considering his upside, it's not a bad idea to stash him in deeper leagues, assuming you can wait about a week before he's close to 100 percent.
Feb 23 - 3:52 PM

Danilo Gallinari (hand) is questionable to face the Suns on Friday.

He suffered a hand injury last night and the training staff got a look at him, but X-rays were negative. It's being called a right hand contusion, so there's a chance this injury could interfere with the right-handed forward's shot. If he's out, that means we'll see a lot of small-ball lineups with more Austin Rivers, Tyrone Wallace and Wes Johnson.
Feb 23 - 2:36 PM

Avery Bradley (groin) has been ruled out against the Suns on Friday.

He is not expected to play and the team is concerned about his status going forward. There's a very good chance Bradley gets shut down for several games and his fantasy owners should have moved on by now. There will be more run for Milos Teodosic and Tyrone Wallace.
Feb 23 - 2:34 PM

Lonzo Ball (knee) will play with a minutes limit in his return to the lineup against the Mavs on Friday, and he will not play on Saturday for rest.

Coach Luke Walton said he's still not sure if Ball is going to start, but the Lakers have been vocal about him being their starting point guard. He's been out for 41 days with this MCL sprain and it could be a while before he's back up to minutes in the upper 30s. His return should take time from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Josh Hart, Corey Brewer, and maybe some of the forwards with the Lakers going smaller at the three.
Feb 23 - 2:30 PM

Rudy Gay will have a minutes limit in his return to the lineup on Friday against the Nuggets.

He didn't say anything specific, but he mentioned maybe 15-20 minutes. Pop also said Gay makes him nervous, but he looked good in practice the last two days and everything seems to be going well. Gay is probably going to have a minutes limit on him for the rest of this month, but he's still worth a look in 12-team leagues. There's a chance he starts, too.
Feb 23 - 2:26 PM

Coach Gregg Popovich said he'll be changing the starting lineup against the Nuggets on Friday.

"We'll tell you later," he said when asked what the starting five will be. LaMarcus Aldridge didn't play in the last game, so it could be something as simple as that with him returning. Davis Bertans could also be moved out for either Pau Gasol or the Spurs could go smaller with Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gay at the forwards.
Feb 23 - 2:23 PM

Ricky Rubio (hip) will be available to play Friday night vs. the Blazers.

Rubio missed Utah's final three games before the All-Star break, but was playing his best ball of the season prior to the hip injury. Over a seven-game stretch from late January through early February, Rubio was averaging 20.7 points, 7.7 assists, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 treys, while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor. Royce O'Neale played well in Rubio's absence but will see his minutes dip with Ricky back in the mix.
Feb 23 - 1:16 PM

Tyson Chandler (neck spasms) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

Chandler was ruled out of the Suns final game prior to the All-Star break due to the neck ailment and still dealing with the injury. He has been unable to practice and is seeing a neck specialist on Friday. The Suns hope to have an update on his condition by Friday evening. Alex Len is expected to draw the start at center if Chandler is unable to play on Friday.
Feb 23 - 1:09 PM

Coach Brad Stevens said that he expects Marcus Smart (thigh) to play Friday vs. the Pistons.

Smart missed the final 11 games before the All-Star break due to a hand injury. He's been cleared to return from that ailment; however, he sat out Thursday's practice due to a thigh bruise. Yet, the bruise is considered minor and we should see Smart make his return to action on Friday night. Terry Rozier will see his playing time reduced with Smart back in the lineup.
