Grizzlies waive F/C Dexter Pittman.

Memphis traded their second-round pick to get Pittman, so we can probably chalk this up as the most meaningless trade of the year. He played in seven games with Memphis, averaging 2.9 minutes per contest.

Luol Deng (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs.

Mar 31 - 6:21 PM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) said that pain tolerance will dictate whether he can play.

"It felt weird, but I’m gonna do the best I can," Whiteside said. "You’re gonna see a lot more lefty. As long as I don’t spread my fingers and they keep them taped together, I can’t reopen the stitches. It’s surrounded by a pad, so it can be slapped and everything. It’s just about what I can tolerate on the court with the pain. They cleared me. It’s just the performance and how well I can play." Whiteside remains questionable for tonight's game, but it sounds like even if he does play, he's going to be very limited on the offensive end. Udonis Haslem's won't be worth using in most leagues if Whiteside suits up.
Mar 31 - 6:17 PM

Rodney Stuckey (wrist) will play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Stuckey will draw a very favorable matchup against the Nets tonight, so make sure you have him on your active roster. C.J. Waton's value takes a hit with Stuckey active.
Mar 31 - 6:12 PM

The Hawks will go with their regular starting lineup for Tuesday's game vs. Detroit.

Those that made a speculative add of Shelvin Mack under the assumption that Jeff Teague would be rested for this one should probably look elsewhere for production. It'll be Teague, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap, and Al Horford in the starting lineup tonight, so go ahead and get those guys active.
Mar 31 - 6:08 PM

Thaddeus Young will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game vs. the Pacers, sending Mason Plumlee back to the bench.

Young will not be on a minutes limit tonight, so owners can feel confident plugging him into their active rosters. Plumlee didn't do much during his run with the starting unit, so the demotion to the second unit isn't going to do him any favors. In fact, Plumlee is averaging just 5.1 points and 4.8 rebounds on 43.6 percent shooting as a reserve, so it makes sense to drop him in standard leagues.
Mar 31 - 5:52 PM

Lakers' head coach Byron Scott believes that Jeremy Lin (illness) will be able to play Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

"I don’t think it’s serious. I think he’s just drained," said Scott. Lin is dealing with an upper respiratory infection, and owners can expect to get another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. If he is able to go, Wayne Ellington will likely head back to the bench, and Jabari Brown may fall out of the rotation. Stay tuned.
Mar 31 - 5:50 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Sacramento.

Howard is going to sit either Wednesday's game vs. the Kings, or Thursday's game vs. the Mavericks, and owners can expect another update on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. When he sits, Joey Dorsey will slot into the starting center spot, although he can only be viewed as a rebounding specialist in extremely deep leagues. Josh Smith, however, will get all the run he can handle when Dwight is out of commission, and he's the guy that should be targeted in daily leagues.
Mar 31 - 4:41 PM

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

Jones offers plenty of upside, and with Donatas Motiejunas (back) on the shelf, and Dwight Howard still with a minutes limit, Jones could potentially get some decent run upon his return. He's worth a speculative add in most leagues with this news, so make sure he's not sitting on your waiver wire. Josh Smith's value would take a minor hit with Jones back in the rotation.
Mar 31 - 4:33 PM

Gorgui Dieng (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Raptors.

That leaves Justin Hamilton and Adreian Payne as the only truly healthy big men on the roster, and Payne will again be forced into heavy minutes on Wednesday. Hamilton will get the start again on Wednesday, and he's slowly been seeing his minutes increased, so he's worth a look in most leagues given his upside. Payne logged 32 minutes of action on Monday, but only managed to put up five rebounds, two assists, and a steal with four turnovers while missing all seven of his field goal attempts, so he's not a great option in standard leagues.
Mar 31 - 4:24 PM

Ricky Rubio (ankle) and Kevin Garnett (illness) are doubtful to play Wednesday against the Raptors.

The Wolves are playing for draft picks, so it's extremely unlikely we'll see either Rubio or Garnett in uniform on Wednesday. Zach LaVine and Lorenzo Brown will be forced into heavy minutes with the Minnesota backcourt banged up, while Justin Hamilton and Adreian Payne will be the few healthy frontcourt options for the Wolves.
Mar 31 - 4:20 PM

Kevin Martin (hamstring) is questionable for play Wednesday vs. Toronto.

Martin said last week that he was hoping to return sometime this week, so there's a small chance he'll be in uniform on Wednesday. That being said, there's just too much uncertainty right now to recommend adding him in most leagues, but there should be another update on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. If he's unable to go, Lorenzo Brown and Chase Budinger will continue to log major minutes for the Wolves.
