Nolan Smith, an unrestricted free agent, will not return to the Blazers next season.

"They have a path they want to go down, and it's pretty obvious I'm not on it right now," Smith said during his exit interview. Smith added the team made it "pretty clear" that they don't want him to return, and now Smith will be playing with a chip on his shoulder wherever he lands. Right now, he's best known as the guy drafted ahead of Kenneth Faried in 2011.

Brandon Knight (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Warriors on Thursday.

Apr 1 - 8:09 PM

Monta Ellis (calf) will play vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.

Ellis' calf may not be 100 percent healthy but he's one of the league's toughest players and it's no surprise to see him in the starting lineup. He'll give the No. 7 seed Mavericks whatever he has tonight, as they try to fend off the No. 8 seed Thunder, and he's safe to activate in all leagues.
Apr 1 - 7:49 PM

Derrick Favors (back) will return to action against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

He's ready to roll after missing two games due to a back issue. Favors was able to go through shootaround this morning and he should be in the 22-28 minute range. Trevor Booker can be dropped in most leagues.
Apr 1 - 7:09 PM

Dwight Howard (rest) will not play against the Kings on Wednesday.

He is going to play tomorrow against the Mavs. With Howard out, Joey Dorsey will get the start and Terrence Jones should get some run at the five, too. Howard isn't a must-own player and will likely have a minutes cap for the next week or so.
Apr 1 - 6:59 PM

Kevin Martin (hamstring) will not play against the Raptors on Wednesday.

This is not a surprise despite the Wolves saying Martin could return. There's also some hope he'll play on Friday, but we have our doubts. Lorenzo Brown and Zach LaVine will get most of the backcourt minutes tonight.
Apr 1 - 6:55 PM

Ricky Rubio's sprained ankle will sideline him again on Wednesday.

Rubio was doubtful to play and at this point we're wondering why the Wolves don't shut him down. He's missed nine of Minnesota's past 10 games and there's no clear indication when he might return, leaving Zach LaVine with a clear path to extended minutes in the backcourt.
Apr 1 - 6:54 PM

DeMarcus Cousins will play against the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday.

Coach George Karl said on Monday he would think about resting Cousins on the road, so this is a mild surprise. Cousins' fantasy owners can start him tonight in what should be a productive game with Rudy Gay (concussion) out. The other Kings' players aren't going to have as high of a ceiling.
Apr 1 - 6:52 PM

Kelly Olynyk (left eye laceration) will attempt to play vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.

It's a crucial game for both teams' playoff hopes, which explains why Olynyk is even considering playing -- he took a hard elbow during warmups and his eye has swelled up to nearly the size of a golf ball (you can see it via the link below). We doubt he'll be very effective tonight and there's still a chance he won't even play, which makes him a very shaky option.
Apr 1 - 6:45 PM

Dion Waiters (foot) will play vs. the Mavericks on Wednesday.

He didn't have any setbacks during shootaround and it sounds like his re-evaluation on Tuesday went well, so Waiters should be in the clear. That doesn't make him a reliable fantasy option, of course, as he shot just 41.7 percent from the field and 62.9 percent from the FT line in March.
Apr 1 - 6:26 PM

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) will play against the Kings on Wednesday and will have a minutes restriction.

This is great to see after a very scary injury put him in the hospital last month. The Rockets have yet to decide on Dwight Howard, but Jones should still be able to get 16-24 minutes tonight in his first game back. The Rockets have a back-to-back, so Jones should be owned in all leagues with two games in the next two days.
Apr 1 - 6:20 PM

C.J. Miles (ankle) and Rodney Stuckey (wrist) are available to play against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Coach Frank Vogel said that both players are banged up heading into tonight, so they're likely to have their minutes limited. Miles has struggled to stay on the court even when he's entering a game at full health, so he's risky to start in any league. If he's unable to play through the injury, C.J. Watson, Solomon Hill and Damjan Rudez would step up.
