Damian Lillard will be named Rookie of the Year during a press conference on Wednesday.

The Trail Blazers have scheduled a "major announcement," but the team has made it clear that it will be Lillard winning his award. It will be interesting to see a breakdown of the voting, and Lillard will become the fourth player in Blazers team history to win the award. He finished the season with averages of 19 points, 6.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds and made 185 3-pointers, the most by a rookie in NBA history. He also led the league in total minutes with 3,167. The kid is going to be special.

Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard are both starting for the Blazers again on Tuesday night.

With Moe Harkless and Jusuf Nurkic both banged up right now, the Blazers have had to get creative with their starting lineup. Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Al-Farouq Aminu will round out the starting five.
Dec 11 - 9:04 PM

Milos Teodosic (foot) will start on Monday vs. the Raptors.

He's back after a 22-game absence, but coach Doc Rivers said he will have a very strict minutes limit. Once Teodosic has a few games under his belt, he should be a really nice source of assists and should hold onto the starting job the rest of the way.
Dec 11 - 8:56 PM

Danilo Gallinari (left glute contusion) will not play on Monday vs. the Raptors.

One report indicated that Gallinari suffered a setback for the same injury that sidelined him for 13 games, but we have confirmed that this is the opposite glute. It's not clear how long Gallo will be out, but he's always been a slow healer and coach Doc Rivers indicated that he'll be out at least a couple game. Wes Johnson is probably the best pickup for his upside in defensive stats.
Dec 11 - 8:54 PM

Patrick McCaw (concussion) will play on Monday vs. the Blazers.

He has cleared the concussion protocol and said he feels "fine," and there's no word of any restrictions. McCaw could have some short-term value while Stephen Curry (ankle) is out, but the Warriors only play two games this week.
Dec 11 - 8:50 PM

Draymond Green (shoulder) will not play on Monday vs. the Blazers.

The Warriors have been off since Friday and Green was listed as probable, but he will sit due to soreness in his shoulder. The Warriors only have a total of two games this week, so maybe they're just trying to get him some extra rest. We'll consider him questionable for Thursday's game vs. Dallas. Jordan Bell is a candidate to start and is an excellent streaming option.
Dec 11 - 8:48 PM

Updating a previous report, Darius Miller will start in place of Anthony Davis (thigh) on Monday vs. Houston instead of Dante Cunningham.

Cunningham was expected to start, but he popped up on the injury report about five minutes before tip-off with a knee issue. If you need to stream some triples, Miller is worth a look.
Dec 11 - 8:09 PM

Anthony Davis (left adductor) will not play on Monday vs. the Rockets.

Davis did warm up, so hopefully this is just a day-to-day thing. This injury has now sidelined him for four games this season and looks like it could linger for a while. Dante Cunningham will start in Davis' place, but he's a poor fantasy option. DeMarcus Cousins, Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore will all have increased roles in the offense with Davis out.
Dec 11 - 7:20 PM

Al Horford (knee) said he will play on Monday vs. the Bulls.

He was originally a game-time call, so his knee likely felt pretty good in warmups. It's a really good sign that the Celtics are letting him play at less than 100 percent against one of the worst teams in the leagues, and a lot of offense will run through him with Kyrie Irving (quad) out.
Dec 11 - 7:12 PM

Chandler Parsons (rest) will play Monday vs. Miami, as expected.

Parsons was rested on Saturday, but he'll be back in action tonight which will mean fewer minutes for Jarrell Martin and Dillon Brooks. Parsons isn't much more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues.
Dec 11 - 6:43 PM

Marcus Smart is starting in place of Kyrie Irving (quad) on Monday vs. the Bulls.

Irving's injury isn't considered serious and the Celtics are probably just being cautious because of the opponent. Smart is a strong play tonight if you can live with his poor field goal percentage. In four previous starts, Smart posted 10.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.5 3-pointers.
Dec 11 - 6:43 PM

Paul George (calf) will be in the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Hornets.

He'll be returning from a two-game absence, and there's been no word on any sort of minutes limit, so go ahead and get him active. With PG-13 back in action, there won't be as much opportunity on offense for Carmelo Anthony and Alex Abrines.
