Team president Josh Kroenke said the Nuggets "haven't really given any thought" to firing George Karl.

In the next sentence, Kroenke said Karl should be coach of the year after he pieced together a 57-win season. However, the Nuggets have gotten out of the first round of the playoffs just once in Karl's eight years in Denver and there have been rumblings that Karl's job was in danger if he didn't win a series this season. Veteran point guard Andre Miller said the Nuggets "outplayed, outcoached, out-toughed" by the Warriors, with which Karl didn't have a problem. If Karl does return next season, he could be facing some changes on the roster. Andre Iguodala is expected to opt out of the final year of his contract and could be lured away as a free agent, while Danilo Gallinari (ACL) will likely miss a decent portion of next season.

Anthony Morrow caught fire against the Mavs on Wednesday, making 11-of-16 from the field for 32 points with four rebounds, one steal and six 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

He's obviously a system fit with Russell Westbrook breaking down defenses. Morrow has been locked in from deep, making 65.2 percent from that range in his last five with averages of 14.6 points, 2.2 boards, 0.4 steals and 3.0 treys. He has to be owned in all standard leagues.
Apr 2 - 2:26 AM

Ryan Anderson finally returned from his knee injury and hit 5-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 17 points and three rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench on Wednesday night.

Quincy Pondexter started and had 10 points in 18 minutes, but needed to hit 4-of-5 shots to get it done. Anderson should see more minutes going forward, barring any setbacks, and should be picked up immediately in all leagues. And if you're somehow holding Pondexter, look for a hot free agent to replace him. This was Anderson's first game since Feb. 21, and the Pelicans, who are in a battle to make the playoffs, are thrilled to have him back. They sit just 1.5 games behind the ailing Thunder for the No. 8 seed in the West.

Russell Westbrook logged his 10th triple-double of the season during a 135-131 loss to the Mavericks on Wednesday with 31 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and two 3-pointers on 10-of-32 from the field and 9-of-11 from the line.

It was his eighth triple-double since the break, so he's putting up one of those about 40 percent of the time. He's also scoring 31.0 points per game in that span, which is just crazy talk. Westbrook also had a ridiculous 38.4 usage rate during his 37 minutes per game since the break. He's a stat machine.
Apr 2 - 2:17 AM

Chris Paul had a season-high 41 points, five rebounds, 17 assists, four steals and five 3-pointers on 13-of-21 shooting, and also hit 10-of-10 free throws in Wednesday's tough win over the Blazers, which is a fight for home court advantage in the playoffs.

CP3 tied his season high in assists and got fired up after Chris Kaman shoved him from the blindside, and the Blazers probably wish they had a do-over on that play, as they were up at the time. Blake Griffin added 24 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers, and DeAndre Jordan added 13 points, 13 boards, a steal and a block in the win. As long as these guys are in the lineup for the Clippers, they are must-starts in fantasy, obviously. The Blazers, who are on the verge of clinching the Northwest Division, hold just a one-game lead over the Clippers for the No. 4 seed in the West.
Apr 2 - 1:47 AM

Derrick Favors returned from a back injury and hit 9-of-16 shots for 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in just 25 minutes on Wednesday.

He's back, and as long as he's starting for the Jazz, he should be in your fantasy lineup.
Apr 2 - 1:35 AM

Dorell Wright suffered a broken fourth metacarpal in his left hand on Wednesday.

Usually, it takes about 4-6 weeks for this injury to heal, so Wright is unlikely to be back this regular season and he probably won't be back in time for a first-round playoff series. The Blazers may trust C.J. McCollum more with his minutes, which would put him on the radar in deeper leagues. Alonzo Gee and Allen Crabbe could also slide into the rotation.
Apr 2 - 1:33 AM

Wayne Ellington suffered a mild shoulder separation on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated on Thursday.

It was a late-game collision and there's a decent chance Ellington misses time. If he does, Jeremy Lin, Wes Johnson and Jabari Brown would all get a slight uptick in value. Ellington finished with 11 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes vs. the Pelicans.
Apr 2 - 1:10 AM

James Harden hit 16-of-25 shots, 8-of-9 3-pointers and 11-of-13 free throws for 51 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in Wednesday's win over the Kings.

Harden and DeMarcus Cousins put on a show tonight, but Harden had the last laugh. Yeah, he had seven turnovers, but that's a small price to pay for such a massive stat line. Harden was already the favorite for MVP and tonight's game is only going to get the people in his corner more fired up about it.
Apr 2 - 12:09 AM

Terrence Jones returned from a rib injury on Wednesday and went off for 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and seven blocks on 6-of-10 shooting in 32 minutes.

This was quite a return for TJ and he was helped by the fact Dwight Howard was given the night off to rest as he comes back from his knee injury. Howard is expected to play on Thursday against the Mavericks, but it also sounds like Jones is also going to play, according to Kevin McHale. Get him back in your lineup.
Apr 1 - 11:52 PM

DeMarcus Cousins went off for 24 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and six blocks on 11-of-25 shooting in Wednesday's tough loss to the Rockets.

Wow. Dwight Howard was out tonight and Boogie had a field day. It was also nice to see him playing on the road, as there had been speculation that he might only play in home games going forward. Boogie is one of those superstars that you'll have to keep tabs on from day-to-day, but if he's playing, you have to have him in your lineup.
Apr 1 - 11:43 PM

Ish Smith started again and hit 11-of-17 shots and a 3-pointer for 23 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards.

Smith has it rolling right now and Nerlens Noel is thriving with him running the point. Isaiah Canaan has managed to stay quite relevant off the bench, and had 18 points, six assists and four 3-pointers. In fact, Canaan was the better play tonight, and has scored 18 in two straight while totaling seven 3-pointers, but Smith is the most trustworthy point guard in Philly right now. Especially after Canaan suffered a sprained ankle and didn't return to the game.
