Derrick Rose said his status for the rest of the playoffs is "up in the air," but Adrian Wojnarowski contends that Rose has decided not to play this season.

Wojo cites "sources with the direct knowledge" who claim Rose has made a choice to rest his surgically-repaired left knee for the duration of the playoffs. The Bulls are used to playing without their resident MVP and they're simply hoping to have Kirk Hinrich (calf) and Luol Deng (illness) in uniform for Game 1 on Monday.

James Ennis (right calf) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

This is the first we're hearing of a calf issue for Ennis, but we'll have a better idea on his status based on what he can do at Wednesday morning's shootaround. If he's out, his minutes will likely be divvied up between Dillon Brooks and Jarell Martin.
Jan 16 - 6:03 PM

Al Horford (calf) will play Tuesday vs. the Pelicans.

Horford was never in any danger of missing Tuesday's game, but now we have official confirmation. Go ahead and get him active.
Jan 16 - 5:51 PM

Pau Gasol (right wrist sprain) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Brooklyn.

Gasol told reporters on Monday that the nagging injury is hampering him. "I can't really bend it much," Gasol said. "It's been building up. I jammed it and it's been a little swollen." The Spurs are notoriously cautious with their injured players, so it certainly wouldn't be surprised if Gasol was sidelined on Wednesday. If Gasol is ruled out, Davis Bertans and Joffrey Lauvergne would likely pick up most of his minutes. Bertans would be the more attractive streaming option and could be worth a look as a risky DFS punt.
Jan 16 - 5:48 PM

Kawhi Leonard (quad) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Leonard also wasn't on the injury report on Monday but ended up being a late scratch, which was apparently due to his "return from injury management" program. He'll have had three full days off going into Wednesday's game, so he should be able to get out there barring a setback. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.
Jan 16 - 5:47 PM

Jayson Tatum (knee) is good to go for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.

Tatum went through most of Monday's practice and looked fine at shootaround, so we wouldn't anticipate any sort of minutes limit for him tonight. Feel free to get him active.
Jan 16 - 5:40 PM

Tyler Johnson (ankle) will not be required to undergo an MRI, but he is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. Milwaukee.

Johnson could miss a few games, but the fact that he's avoiding an MRI suggests he's not dealing with anything too serious. We should get official confirmation on his status following Wednesday's shootaround, and if he's out, Wayne Ellington could see heavy minutes as a starter. Stay tuned.
Jan 16 - 4:43 PM

Updating a previous report, Josh Jackson (groin) will start Tuesday in Portland.

Jackson played well in his previous start sans Warren, scoring a career-high 21 points to go with six boards, three dimes and two triples in 30 minutes of floor time, so he's someone to consider in DFS with what should be a favorable and uptempo matchup with the Trail Blazers.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With all inactive/non-rotation members off the floor - including Warren and Chriss, who were both ruled out today - Jackson is averaging 0.93 fantasy points per minute with a very solid 28.2% usage rate, making him an attractive target in all DFS formats. Dragan Bender also appears to be locked into at least 28-30 minutes of court time, making him a viable bounce back candidate.
Jan 16 - 4:27 PM

Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) are questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Green was icing his shoulder after Monday's win, and it's become a reoccurring issue this season, so it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him hit the sidelines on Wednesday night with a matchup against the 16-27 Bulls. The same can be said about Iguodala. If both these guys are out, there minutes will be divvied up between Kevin Durant, David West, Omri Casspi and Jordan Bell.
Jan 16 - 3:56 PM

Marquese Chriss (hip) and T.J. Warren (back) will not play Tuesday vs. the Trail Blazers.

This will be Chriss' third straight game on the sidelines, and at this point, it's not clear exactly when he'll be back on the court. That said, Chriss was playing so well prior to going down, we'd advise trying to hang on in most leagues. With Chriss and Warren unavailable on Tuesday, Josh Jackson figures to earn another start with Devin Booker doing the heavy lifting on offense. Dragan Bender will also get another start, and he's someone to think about as a streamer.
Jan 16 - 3:34 PM

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Ingram was able to practice in full on Tuesday and said he expects to be back on the court on Wednesday night, and head coach Luke Walton echoed a similar sentiment, so he feels a bit closer to probable. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.
Jan 16 - 3:30 PM

Lonzo Ball (knee) is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

Ball wasn't able to practice on Tuesday and head coach Luke Walton said he didn't expect Ball to be able to get out there on Wednesday night, so the doubtful tag confirms the obvious. Tyler Ennis figures to earn another start on Wednesday if Ball sits, and there will be more minutes available for guys like Josh Hart and Jordan Clarkson.
