Tiago Splitter (ankle) will be a game-time decision Wednesday night.

Splitter hasn't played since suffering a fairly serious sprained ankle during Game 3 of San Antonio's first-round series against the Lakers. He was a game-time call for Monday's game as well, but still wasn't ready to return. The Spurs could definitely use Splitter's size and presence inside against a banged-up Warriors frontcourt. If Splitter can't go, Boris Diaw will likely start again with DeJuan Blair getting minutes off the bench.

D'Angelo Russell (knee) will not play against the Knicks on Sunday.

He's getting very close, so Monday is a real possibility. Coach Luke Walton said he wants Russell to go through live action, and he did some 3-on-3 on Saturday. Russell also went through all of Saturday's practice. Lou Williams has been arguably the hottest scorer in the Western Conference with a 71.0 true shooting percentage for his 34.3 points per game in his last four. He may take a hit upon Russell's return while Marcelo Huertas would likely get bumped out of the rotation.
Dec 10 - 3:40 PM

Isaiah Thomas (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Oklahoma City.

He did not even travel for the road game. Thomas has said he wants to play on Wednesday, but the Celtics are really going to be careful for him. Coach Brad Stevens said on Friday he really wants to make sure he's over his injury and doesn't want it to linger. With Thomas out, Marcus Smart gets the start while Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown get some extra playing time. Smart is worth a pickup in most leagues despite his shooting woes.
Dec 10 - 2:38 PM

Jerryd Bayless (wrist) will not play against the Pistons on Sunday.

This will be the eighth straight game Bayless has missed. Sergio Rodriguez will start once again. S-Rod has played well in place of Bayless this season. Rodriguez is averaging 9.1 points, 6.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 28.0 minutes in the 22 games he has started this season.
Dec 10 - 1:33 PM

Jahlil Okafor (gastroenteritis) will be available to play Sunday vs. the Pistons.

Okafor had missed three straight games due to the illness. The Sixers are saying that Okafor will not have a minutes restriction. He will likely start on Sunday, as Joel Embiid (elbow/rest) will not be available. Nerlens Noel is also set to make his season debut on Sunday. Noel will likely split time backup minutes with Richaun Holmes
Dec 10 - 1:19 PM

Nerlens Noel (knee) will be available to make his regular-season debut Sunday against the Pistons.

Noel had surgery to repair inflamed tissue above his left knee on Oct. 24. He has been practicing with the team for weeks and is finally ready to get back on the court. Noel enters an unfavorable fantasy situation, due to the glut of quality bigs on the Sixers roster. Embiid has been phenomenal and will start and play at least 25 minutes whenever he suits up. Embiid will not play Sunday, but when he is available, Noel will likely have to compete for minutes behind Embidd with fellow bigs Jahlil Okafor and Richaun Holmes.
Dec 10 - 1:02 PM

Joel Embiid (minor inflammation in right elbow) will not play Sunday vs. the Pistons.

Embiid is dealing with a minor elbow issue, but part of the reason for sitting him on Sunday is also in order to keep his minutes at a minimum, or as the team terms it, "in conjunction with load management." After Sunday, the Sixers next game is Wednesday vs. the Raptors. We will have to wait until early next week to find out if the elbow is more than a minor issue, or if he will be back in the lineup on Wednesday. The Sixers frontcourt will be a bit more crowded next time Embiid suits up, as both Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are available to play Sunday.
Dec 10 - 1:01 PM

Gordon Hayward (finger) will play Saturday vs. the Kings.

Hayward sat out Thursday's game against the Warriors after aggravating his finger injury on Tuesday. However, Hayward will be back in the saddle on Saturday and has been able to play well despite dealing with the nagging injury all season. He is currently averaging career-highs in points (23.1) and rebounds (6.4), in addition to 3.9 assists, 1.7 3-pointers, and 1.1 steals. Make sure he is back in your starting lineup.
Dec 10 - 12:59 PM

Andre Iguodala (rest) will not play Saturday vs. Memphis.

This will be the first game Iggy has missed this season. The Warriors play a back-to-back on Saturday vs. the Grizz and then play in Minnesota on Sunday. Shaun Livingston (fresh of a DNP-rest) and Ian Clark will likely soak up Iggy's minutes (he's averaging 24.6 minutes per game this season).
Dec 10 - 12:57 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay (right ankle sprain) will play Saturday vs. Orlando.

Mudiay missed Thursday's game due to the ankle issue. However, prior to spraining his ankle, Mudiay had been struggling mightily. In his last five games, Mudiay is averaging 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 turnovers in 25.2 minutes, while shooting a horrid 28.0 percent from the floor, 18.8 percent from downtown, and 63.6 percent from the free throw line. It is unknown if he will be on a minutes restriction Saturday.
Dec 10 - 11:13 AM

Bismack Biyombo (sprained/strained shoulder) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Biyombo appeared to injure the shoulder on a block attempt in the second half on Friday night. He played only 16 minutes. Nikola Vucevic (back) and Jeff Green (ankle) are both questionable for Saturday as well, so the Magic frontcourt situation appears extremely muddled at the moment. If both Biyombo and Vucevic can't play Saturday, Serge Ibaka would be asked to play all the minutes he could possibly handle. Orlando would also activate Stephen Zimmerman, and possibly start him at center.
Dec 10 - 10:32 AM

Nikola Vucevic (lower back contusion) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Vucevic injured his back on Friday night in a bad spill after being undercut by Roy Hibbert. Bismack Biyombo (shoulder) and Jeff Green (ankle) are also questionable, so there is a chance the Magic's frontcourt will be extremely shorthanded on Saturday. Check back for an official update closer to game time. If both Vucevic and Biyombo are out, Serge Ibaka would play all the minutes he could handle and Orlando would also likely be forced to play Stephen Zimmerman and/or Arinze Onuaku.
