Mark Jackson says he's not sure if David Lee (hip) will play during the Warriors' second-round series vs. the Spurs.

Lee stunningly played 87 seconds against the Nuggets in Game 6 of that series but didn't play a single minute in Game 1 on Monday. Jackson said he toyed with using Lee down the stretch but decided against it because Lee hadn't played all game. Lee will probably need surgery on his torn hip flexor in the offseason and whatever minutes he does play the rest of this year will likely be minimal.

Joakim Noah (ankle) is expected to play against the Knicks on Thursday.

Noah was a participant in shootaround and is expected to be available when the Bulls take on the Knicks Thursday night. Noah's owners can feel free to plug him back into their starting lineups, while Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic will see their fantasy value take a hit upon Noah's return.
Dec 18 - 12:18 PM

Amare Stoudemire (rest) will miss Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Carmelo Anthony is also questionable for Thursday, so we may see a very different lineup when the Knicks take the floor against the Bulls. Quincy Acy, Samuel Dalembert, and Travis Wear are likely to inherit most of STAT's minutes on Thursday, though none are worth a look for fantasy purposes outside of daily games.
Dec 18 - 11:32 AM

Carmelo Anthony (knee soreness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Amare Stoudemire (rest) has already been declared out for the game, so the Knicks will be extremely short-handed for Thursday's game if Melo sits. We'll update his status after shootaround, but Tim Hardaway Jr. and J.R. Smith could be in for big minutes if Melo joins Amare on the Knicks' bench Thursday night.

Darko Milicic will make his pro boxing debut on Thursday.

In a lighter note, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft will Radovan Radojcin in a "prestige fight" during the "Soul Night of Champions" event in Serbia on December 18. Pistons fans may want to turn away, but Darko's promotional video can be found in the link below.

Rajon Rondo responded to recent trade speculation by saying that trade rumors have become a way of life for him.

With reports swirling that the Celtics are shopping their star point guard, Rondo said, "[trade rumors have been] a way of life since I’ve been here. It’s just part of it." Nothing is imminent, but a rumored trade to the Mavericks would put a minor dent in Rondo's fantasy value, while owners with an extra roster spot will want to give strong consideration to taking a flier on Marcus Smart.

James Harden added his newest piece of evidence in his bid for MVP during a 115-111 overtime win over the Nuggets on Wednesday scoring 41 points with four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He made 11-of-21 from the field and 18-of-21 from the field in 45 minutes. This line is pretty ridiculous and he became the sixth player since 1985-86 to have more than 20 attempts from the field, more than 20 attempts from the line, and at least 10 assists. The other five are Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Allen Iverson and Kenny Anderson. Harden is good.
Dec 18 - 3:52 AM

Dwight Howard played 43 minutes in an overtime win over the Nuggets on Wednesday with 24 points, 16 boards, one assist and four blocks on 7-of-16 from the field and 10-of-15 from the line.

The Rockets starters lived at the charity stripe with 48 attempts while their bench didn't have any. As for Howard, he was as dominant as he has been all season and helped keep the Nuggets out of the paint. His 43 minutes are a very encouraging sign and his fantasy owners should have some shred of confidence in him now. Of course, it makes a lot of sense to sell high considering how much time he missed from an injury that came out of nowhere.
Dec 18 - 3:29 AM

DeAndre Jordan abused Roy Hibbert for 15 points, 23 rebounds and two blocks on 4-of-8 shooting on Wednesday.

He hit just 7-of-15 shooting, but you don't care about his free throw percentage if you own him, as his struggles from the line are not a surprise, nor is he going to improve from there any time soon. DJ's line will be overshadowed by what Andre Drummond did tonight (19 points, 24 rebounds, four steals, three blocks), but Jordan's line was certainly noteworthy. Make a note to play opposing centers against Hibbert and the Pacers going forward.
Dec 18 - 2:52 AM

Thomas Robinson excelled in his first start of the season on Wednesday during a win over the Bucks, scoring 15 points with 16 boards, one steal, one block and four turnovers in 29 minutes.

The Bucks did a Hack-A-Rob strategy late in the game, so he only made 5-of-15 from the line. Robinson had a couple bright spots last season while the Blazers were missing LaMarcus Aldridge, but he had a number of disappearing acts, too. Coach Terry Stotts said he's going to be mixing up his lineups, so this is not the new norm for Robinson. We'll need to see it again before signing off on him as a pickup in standard leagues.
Dec 18 - 2:34 AM

Khris Middleton scored 17 points in 33 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with three rebounds, three steals and four 3-pointers.

He started the second half with Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) going down in the second quarter. Middleton is certainly going to benefit with the injury to Jabari Parker (knee) and does have a usage rate of 20, so he's worth a look in standard leagues. His prospective owners just need to remember that coach Jason Kidd runs some wild rotation and Antetokounmpo's injury is not serious.
Dec 18 - 1:59 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo's left ankle injury is not considered serious and there is a chance he plays against the Kings on Thursday.

This is great news. The Bucks absolutely need Antetokounmpo back with Jabari Parker (knee) out for the season. Obviously, this positive outlook could change quickly and he is very questionable to play in a late game. If he's out, Khris Middleton would start and have decent value in standard leagues. Jared Dudley would also gain value.
