Stephen Curry (ankle) expects to deal with decreased mobility for the remainder of the second round.

Although Curry reported some improvement prior to Game 5 and is expected to play, he does not expect to be "significantly more mobile" for the remainder of the series, and he plans to get treatment every day on the ankle to keep it as loose as possible. "We'll just see how it feels," Mark Jackson said. His ankle isn't full strength, but he'll be out there on Tuesday.

Arron Afflalo has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Magic.

Afflalo actually had some of his best statistical seasons wearing an Orlando jersey, but don't expect him to replicate his success from his 2013-14 campaign during the 2017-18 season. Afflalo will likely serve in a sixth man-like role, backing up Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross, but his minutes will likely be in the 20s on most nights which won't be enough floor time for him to make a difference in most leagues. The arrival of Afflalo and Jonathon Simmons isn't great news for Mario Hezonja.

Brandon Knight reportedly tore the ACL in his left knee and he's in danger of missing the entire 2017-18 season.

Knight suffered the ACL tear while playing in a pro-am game last week in Miami and he's expected to have surgery on Friday, at which point we should get a firm timetable on his recovery. Given the current direction of the Suns' franchise, they may consider outright waiving Knight if they're unable to find a trade partner willing to take on his contract worth roughly $44 million over the next three seasons. Obviously, Knight won't be worth targeting in any format on draft day.

Allen Crabbe has been traded to the Nets for Andrew Nicholson.

The Nets have had a clear interest in Crabbe for a while now, and now they'll finally get their man after trying to steal him away from Portland as a restricted free agent last summer with a four-year deal worth $75 million. Crabbe will have a good chance to start with the Nets next season, and he'll look to improve upon his numbers from his 2016-17 campaign in which he produced averages of 10.7 points and 1.7 triples per game on 46.8 percent shooting. He's lights out from beyond the arc, but unless he can improve on the defensive stats, he won't be much more than a late-round guy.

Derrick Rose has agreed to join the Cavaliers according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

He completed his physical exam on Monday and is expected to sign a one-year, $2.1 million minimum deal. This will give him a chance to compete for a title next to LeBron James and build his market value back up for the Summer of 2018. Assuming the Cavaliers meet Kyrie Irving's trade request, Rose will have a shot to start at PG on opening night unless they bring in a rumored target such as Eric Bledsoe. Despite averaging 18.0 points and 4.4 assists last season, his fantasy appeal is low due to a lack of 3-pointers and steals.

Derrick Rose is meeting with the Cavaliers on Monday.

Rose met with the Lakers on Friday and it's worth noting that they can offer him more money, but ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Cavaliers are his top choice. The two sides are engaged in "serious discussions" on a one-year, $2.1 million minimum deal, and it sounds like a deal could be reached sooner rather than later. A move to Cleveland would make some sense for Rose, as he could revitalize his market value playing alongside LeBron James and could potentially be the starting PG if Kyrie Irving's demand for a trade is met.

The Hawks have claimed Nicolas Brussino off waivers.

The Mavs didn't bring him back, but the Hawks will likely be giving him a chance to make the team. Brussino did play well in Las Vegas Summer League and the Hawks do need another forward on their roster. He still may not be in the rotation.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks have "strong interest" in trading for Kyrie Irving, but they are not willing to include Kristaps Porzingis in any potential deal.

Unlike Phil Jackson, the Knicks new front office tandem of president Steve Mills and GM Scott Perry are not even considering moving Porzingis. They intend to build the franchise around New York's prized unicorn. However, Begley does report that the Knicks would consider including Carmelo Anthony and future first-round picks in a package for Irving. As the rumors surrounding Kyrie continue to swirl, the Knicks will definitely be in the mix.

Regarding the Kyrie Irving trade demands, the Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio and Minnesota.

And this is the NBA offseason. It sounds like Irving is legitimate in his demands and not wanting to live under LeBron James' shadow. This is basically the third day of the "offseason" in the NBA, but it looks like chaos is in store for the Cavs this offseason -- maybe they should've brought their GM back. Expect a ton of Kyrie Irving rumors this summer.
Jul 21 - 4:32 PM

Pau Gasol has agreed on a three-year deal to return to the Spurs.

There is only a partial guarantee on the third year of this deal for the Spaniard. It's a nice deal for the 37-year-old big man, and he should be in a similar role. There was some talk of the Spurs going smaller with Rudy Gay (Achilles) now in the mix, but now they'll have to work in LaMarcus Aldridge and Gasol to their frontcourt rotation.
Jul 21 - 4:08 PM

Kyrie Irving asked the Cavs to trade him in a meeting last week, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Oh boy. "Irving has expressed that he wants to go play in a situation where he can be a more focal point and no longer wants to play alongside LeBron James," the report says. This comes off the heels of Irving saying things are "very peculiar" in Cleveland at an SI event earlier this week. The Cavs may be having the worst offseason possible and this can't be a good look to keep LeBron James next season. There's really no way to spin this positively for the Cavs.
Jul 21 - 3:44 PM

Derrick Rose and the Lakers had a meeting for about three hours on Thursday, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.

The report adds that both sides feel good about it -- #WentWell, of course. Rose is expected to have more meetings this weekend with the Cavs as the toughest competition. There's a good chance Rose can play some shooting guard for both of these teams, but the Lakers will likely be offering more of a scoring opportunity.
