Stephen Curry says he's ready to play big minutes in Thursday's Game 6.

As a beat writer said on Twitter shortly afterward, "But are his ankles?" Curry's a gamer and one of the tougher players in the league, but wanting to play 40-plus minutes and being able to do so effectively are two very different things. Curry is coming off his worst game of the postseason in Tuesday's Game 5 loss and the Warriors need will need a bounce-back if they want to force a Game 7 against the Spurs. We expect Curry to leave everything out on the court tonight, but we're still not sure how effective he can be.

Tony Parker (left knee) will start against the Bulls on Thursday night.

This is a mild surprise for Parker, who missed Tuesday's action. Parker likely won't play many minutes in his return to the lineup and he'l certainly miss more games going forward.
Dec 8 - 8:21 PM

Evan Turner will start for Moe Harkless (ankle) against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Well, just when it made sense for Allen Crabbe to start, coach Terry Stotts will start Turner. Both Turner and Crabbe should benefit tonight.
Dec 8 - 7:52 PM

Marc Gasol (groin) will start against the Blazers on Thursday night.

He gets an outstanding matchup tonight against a sub-par Blazers interior defense and rebounding. Gasol may have a slight hit in minutes, so he's a risky DFS play even when it's not on a back-to-back set. He's an obvious start in season long leagues.
Dec 8 - 7:45 PM

Shelvin Mack, Dante Exum, Joe Johnson, Boris Diaw and Rudy Gobert are likely starting on Thursday against the Warriors.

The Jazz are really, really shorthanded, especially on the wings. Expect to see a Joe Johnson throwback game while Mack should get plenty of shots.
Dec 8 - 7:32 PM

Allen Crabbe is listed as the starter for Thursday against the Grizzlies.

Unless coach Terry Stotts goes into one of his mad scientist modes, this should stick. Crabbe has played very well lately and turned in a gem with 17 points on Monday and a solid 14-point game on Wednesday. Expect him to get 30-35 minutes tonight while Evan Turner backs him up.
Dec 8 - 7:26 PM

The Pelicans will start Tim Frazier, Buddy Hield, Solomon Hill, Anthony Davis and Alexis Ajinca against the 76ers on Thursday.

With Jrue Holiday (toe) out, expect to see plenty of Frazier tonight. Langston Galloway still has plenty of upside, especially if he gets hot. Frazier is a borderline property in standard leagues.
Dec 8 - 7:19 PM

Moe Harkless (ankle) will not play against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

His ankle is still swollen and his pre-game workout did not go well. Harkless suffered the injury on Wednesday and didn't play in the final 31 seconds. For tonight, expect to see Allen Crabbe in the starting lineup while Evan Turner gets a bump. Maybe coach Terry Stotts goes with a little Jake Layman to boost the bench, too.
Dec 8 - 7:08 PM

Robert Covington (knee) is back in the starting lineup to face the Pelicans on Thursday.

He doesn't have a minutes limit, but the 76ers will monitor his playing time. Covington joins Sergio Rodriguez, Gerald Henderson, Ersan Ilyasova and Joel Embiid in the first unit. Despite his awful shooting, he should be owned in standard leagues.
Dec 8 - 6:44 PM

The Nuggets will start Jameer Nelson, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Darrell Arthur and Jusuf Nurkic against the Wizards on Thursday.

Nurkic has been really bad, especially on the defensive side of things. Expect coach Mike Malone to keep Nurkic on a very short leash tonight. If he gives up 3-pointers on 1-5 or 2-5 pick-and-roll plays, it might be it for him tonight. Nikola Jokic should still get most of the minutes and is trending up big time.
Dec 8 - 6:35 PM

E'Twaun Moore (toe) will not play on Thursday against the 76ers.

That's his second straight DNP. With Moore out, Buddy Hield should get more run at shooting guard while Langston Galloway and Tim Frazier could run some two-guard combos. Plus, this should help Solomon Hill pick up extra run at the three to help offset the loss of wing depth.
Dec 8 - 6:30 PM

Jrue Holiday (toe) will not play against the 76ers on Thursday.

No revenge game for Jrue against his former team. Holiday's turf toe injury can linger, so the Pelicans will play it safe. His injury history also may have factored into this because compensating could lead to another injury. With Jrue out, Tim Frazier should start while Langston Galloway gets additional run at the point. Buddy Hield should pick up extra minutes, as well.
