Contract talks between Lionel Hollins and the Grizzlies are now "dormant," sources told ESPN.

Here we go again. The Hollins saga is playing out really ugly in Memphis, and after the coach said he wanted to remain with the team long-term, it appears as if the Grizzlies are ready to move on. Hollins has permission to speak with the Clippers, and the Nets will get an "OK" if they ask again as well, but it's not certain they will.

Derrick Rose will not play vs. the Dominican Republic on Wednesday night in Team USA's exhibition.

The coaching staff just wants to give him another day off. Since Saturday's exhibition, Rose has missed both practices and now he's missing game action. He's not expected to miss much more time and should be ready for when the FIBA World Cup starts on Aug. 30. Kyrie Irving is starting in place of Rose.

The Suns are now discussing trade possibilities for restricted free agent Eric Bledsoe, according to Jude LaCava of FOX Phoenix.

"The Suns are now discussing trade possibilities for Eric Bledsoe," LaCava said. "That’s the new chapter to this and I wouldn’t back off of that information. I think it’s 100 percent correct." Things obviously aren't great with the Suns and Bledsoe, so it's not a surprise to hear they are looking to deal him. It doesn't look like this story will end any time soon.

DeMarcus Cousins (knee) practiced fully on Tuesday, but he said he's "50-50" to play vs. the Dominican Republic on Wednesday.

Cousins' knee is structurally healthy but Wednesday's game is a friendly exhibition, so caution may keep him on the sidelines. If he does sit out, Team USA will have lean even more on big men Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Mason Plumlee and Kenneth Faried.

Derrick Rose sat out practice again on Tuesday as a precaution, and he may not start Wednesday's exhibition in New York.

His inactivity on Monday was reportedly a "planned light day" and he does plan to play on Wednesday, even if he doesn't start. Rose's health will be scrutinized all year and his decision to rest during consecutive practices will raise a few eyebrows, but he's healthy and has been very impressive over the past few weeks with Team USA. Check back on Wednesday for his status vs. the Dominican Republic.

Pelicans GM Dell Demps said Jrue Holliday (shin surgery) is working out and appears to be healthy.

Demps also added that Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon are looking healthy and are working out separately. Holliday averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and 1.6 steals before injuring his shin last season and should come at a discount on draft day due to his injury.

Both the Kings and Celtics are denying rumors that the teams are close to a deal that would send Rajon Rondo to Sacramento.

The denials stem from a report that said there is an "80 percent chance" that Rondo will be traded to Sacramento for Ben McLemore and Derrick Williams. While sources close to the process have now denied that report, the Celtics and Kings were reportedly in similar discussions around draft night. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out, but this would be tough news for fantasy owners who have gotten themselves excited about the Darren Collison era in Sacramento.

All charges against Dante Cunningham regarding felony domestic assault and terroristic threats have been dismissed.

Cunningham can now put this troublesome chapter of his career behind him, and focus on trying to sign a contract for the upcoming season. Cunningham, currently an unrestricted free agent, averaged 6.3 points, and 4.1 rebounds through 20.2 minutes of action for the Timberwolves last season. We'll reserve predicting his fantasy value for the upcoming NBA season when we know where he will be signing, but he’d have to land on a bad team to be relevant.

Kyrie Irving admitted in a recent interview that through his first three seasons with the Cavaliers he was not a leader.

"Everybody asks me if this is my year to be a leader … I haven’t been so far though, not at all," Irving said. "I’ve just been a kid trying to figure it out. There’s no perfect way to be a leader, and coming in as a 19-year-old kid and having everything bearing on your shoulders, there are a lot of ups and downs. Now it’s about being the best every single day and not being afraid." Irving won't have to be a leader with LeBron James in town, and he can now transition to the role of apprentice. Irving averaged 20.8 points, 6.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.7 three-pointers a game with the Cavs last season on 43.0 percent shooting from the field. However, with LeBron James driving and kicking, you can expect Irving's 3-point numbers to increase as well as his field goal percentage.

Celtics center Vitor Faverani was arrested for drunk driving in Spain in early August, after reportedly running a red light and colliding with a bus.

His blood-alcohol limit was three times the legal limit and he'll likely face a suspension from the NBA to begin the season. Faverani is still rehabbing from left knee surgery but he hopes to be healthy in time for training camp, where he'll try to carve out a role in the rotation as a backup center.

The Bucks' physical therapy and training director, Chris McKenzie, said that John Henson "finally put some weight on" this summer.

McKenzie also singled out Khris Middleton for extraordinary work in the training room this summer, but reserved his most effusive praise for Henson. "I can't wait until people get to see John Henson," McKenzie said. "He really can do things [physically] that he couldn't do [last season]." Henson flashed tremendous potential last year and could be a fantasy steal if coach Jason Kidd turns him loose, but his role is somewhat uncertain with Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders still in Milwaukee.

Derrick Rose scored seven points in 24 minutes during Saturday's exhibition vs. Brazil, while being serenaded with "MVP" chants from the hometown crowd in Chicago.

"I've been preparing for this for a long time," Rose said. "Probably, if this was a couple weeks ago I wouldn't have been emotional, but right now it feels great." Tom Thibodeau said that he "couldn't be more pleased" with Rose's performance, and the former MVP has repeatedly emphasized how his game has matured over the past few injury-plagued seasons -- he's worked hard to improve his jump shot, he's more patient and deliberate offensively, and he's a more vocal leader on and off the court. Fans can watch D-Rose and Team USA take on the Dominican Republic in New York on Wednesday.
