Dwyane Wade shot 14-of-25 from the field for a 32 points with six boards, four assists, six steals and one block in 40 minutes during Thursday's Game 4 win.

It was vintage Wade and he did a tremendous job at finishing around the basket to level the series at 2-2. Wade shot just 44.4 percent from the field in his previous 18 playoff games this season and he failed to reach 30 points in any game since March 4. If he can play like this for the rest of the series, the Spurs will have a tough time defending Wade and LeBron James.

Amare Stoudemire has missed just three games this season, but head coach Derek Fisher admitted that STAT may be looking at more recovery days in the future.

"When his minutes jumped up the past few weeks, his recovery was tougher for him," Fisher said. "The last few days a little bit of soreness, nothing crazy, but just enough for us to be really smart with his history." Fisher has been playing with fire this season, giving Stoudemire 29.5 minutes per game during the month of December. Amare has put in serviceable numbers during that span, averaging 14.0 points and 6.6 rebounds on 56.6 percent shooting, but he'll be frustrating to own when the rest days start piling up.

Jonas Jerebko is ready for a larger role with the Pistons with the departure of Josh Smith.

"Obviously, with a 4 man gone - I see myself as a 4 man - a lot more minutes open up in practice and in games," Jerebko said. "I feel like I'm ready to take that step and I'm ready to go in there and battle for them." Jerebko was buried on the bench while Smith was with the team, but now he'll likely be one of the first bigs off the bench. We’ll be monitoring coach Stan Van Gundy’s rotations closely over the coming weeks, and owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with Jerebko.

Jamal Crawford said after Thursday's game that his right elbow is feeling much better.

"If we’re being completely honest, maybe I should have sat out some of those games, because it’s my [right] shooting elbow that’s been bothering me," Crawford said. "I love basketball too much. I’ll deal with the percentages or whatever. It’s frustrating, because I could only get so far on my follow through. But now, make or miss, the last two games it’s felt a lot better and I’m a lot more comfortable."

Chris Paul put on an array of moves during a 100-86 win over the Warriors on Thursday with 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

After 13 hours of seeing Cliff Paul on TV today, Chris stepped up. Paul's assists have been on the decline lately with only one double-double in his last nine games. In that span, he's averaged 18.9 points, 5.0 boards, 8.2 dimes, 2.3 steals and 1.8 triples. CP3 is still a top-five fantasy player in standard leagues.
Dec 26 - 1:44 AM

Blake Griffin scored 18 points with 15 boards, six assists, two steals, one block and five turnovers in 39 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

It's just his ninth double-double of the season, which is surprising because he notched his 20th double-double of the season on Christmas last year. DeAndre Jordan being such a monster on the glass while Griffin does have career lows in offensive and defensive rebounding rate, which might be due to him passing more. He's still a fantasy beast even with the dip in boards.
Dec 26 - 1:27 AM

Coach Bryon Scott told Wayne Ellington and the Lakers that "it could be a week" before Kobe Bryant returns to a game action.

This is another weird story and Bryant was probable for Thursday, so Scott basically pulled a coach Tom Thibodeau here. Bryant said before the game that he's just feeling old, which is not a surprise because he's struggled so much considering how much he's carrying his team. His fantasy owners should bench him for now. Wes Johnson is worth a look in all leagues while Wayne Ellington could play more in the starting lineup.
Dec 26 - 12:08 AM

Jimmy Butler made 7-of-12 from the field for 21 points with six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 42 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

He just won't stop. Over his last five games, Butler averaged 25.0 points, 7.6 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.6 blocks, 1.4 steals, 0.8 turnovers and 1.6 triples on 48.2 percent from the field and 92.5 percent from the line. He's a nine-category player right now. Jimmy's got some new moves and we're pretty sweet on Jimmy these days.
Dec 25 - 11:40 PM

Pau Gasol scored 23 points with 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

He has been on a roll over his last five, averaging 16.2 points, 9.8 boards, 2.8 assists and 2.6 blocks on 50.0 percent from the field and 92.0 percent from the line. Gasol was in a slump earlier this month, but he's busted out and has been second-round guy in standard fantasy leagues this season.
Dec 25 - 11:30 PM

Nikola Mirotic stayed hot against the Lakers on Thursday with 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers.

He's just been too good to keep out of the lineup. Mirotic leads qualifying rookies in true shooting percentage and is forcing coach Tom Thibodeau's hand. He's been ridiculously hot over his last five, posting a true shooting percentage of 81.0 with averages of 14.4 points, 4.8 boards, 1.2 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals and 2.6 triples. His low minutes suggest darker days are ahead, but he's one of the best stashes around considering how many Bulls big man have been hurt this season.
Dec 25 - 11:10 PM

Ed Davis turned in a nice line in 33 minutes against the Bulls on Thursday with 13 points, 14 boards and three blocks in 33 minutes.

Big men tend not to have great games against the Bulls, but Boss' seven offensive boards were a big part of his success. Davis doesn't have eye-popping numbers in his previous 10 games, averaging 8.3 points, 6.3 boards and 1.0 blocks in 24.9 minutes. Still, the blocks and low turnovers have given him seventh-round fantasy value in that span. He's a hold in standard leagues.
Dec 25 - 10:30 PM

Marreese Speights will start in place of Andrew Bogut (knee) and Festus Ezeli (ankle) against the Clippers on Thursday.

Bogut has been out for a couple weeks and Festus suffered a sprained ankle on Festivus (Dec. 23), so Speights is the next man up. He has one of the highest usage rates for a big man at 29.0, so that will likely take a hit with more of his minutes coming next to the starters. Still, he is a nice play tonight in all leagues.
