Chris Paul would re-sign with the Clippers if Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett are traded to the team, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Clippers wouldn't be pursuing a deal of this magnitude without sign-off from their star, and landing both Rivers and Garnett would secure Paul's future in Los Angeles. It seems obvious, but it's worth noting after Paul was reportedly upset about how the team blamed Vinny Del Negro's firing on him.

George Hill logged the first triple-double of his career on Friday during a 93-86 win over the Cavs with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, one block, two steals and two turnovers.

Since Monday, there has been a triple-double every night this week. Hill has really stepped up with 7.0 assists per game in his last five, adding averages of 12.8 points, 4.2 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.4 treys. He's not shooting the ball well, but he is a must-start player right now. Plus, it's great to see his groin injury is behind him.

Russell Westbrook (ankle) is ready to go against the Blazers on Friday.

Even though the Thunder lost, Westbrook was ridiculous on Thursday. He actually put up a 63.4 usage rate in the fourth quarter. Amazingly, the Thunder are 8-0 on the second night of a back-to-back with a healthy Westy. Enjoy watching the game tonight, everyone.
Feb 27 - 9:10 PM

Enes Kanter (thigh contusion) will not play against the Blazers on Friday.

He must have suffered the injury against the Suns on Thursday and it's unclear if he'll need to miss more games. Nick Collison will get the start, but Mitch McGary is the most interesting player here. Kanter should see his numbers decrease with his new team.
Feb 27 - 9:08 PM

Taj Gibson went to the locker room on Friday with an ankle sprain and will not return.

He can't seem to shake these ankle sprains. Gibson was all set for a big night tonight and hopefully will return to action soon. If he doesn't it'll be Nikola Mirotic logging major playing time. Considering Miro's upside, he is well worth a speculative add in most leagues.
Feb 27 - 8:40 PM

Carl Landry will start next to Jason Thompson on Friday night against the Spurs.

In the George Karl era, these two guys have logged a grand total of four minutes next to each other, but they were great with an offensive rating of 154.2 in those four minutes. Landry is capable of putting up numbers and he might be worth a look in deep leagues. He's still not someone to trust on a 14-game night, obviously.
Feb 27 - 8:26 PM

J.J. Hickson will start Friday vs. the Jazz.

While Kenneth Faired is healthy and available to play, head coach Brian Shaw has elected to go with Hickson as the starter. This is a strange move, and it seems Faried and Shaw could use some counseling, but it is what it is. Hickson is averaging 7.6 points and 6.8 rebounds through five games with the starting unit, and he'll have a tough matchup tonight, making him a risky play in most leagues.
Feb 27 - 7:30 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne will start against the Jazz on Friday night.

He'll join Ty Lawson, Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinari and J.J. Hickson. Lauvergne logged some big minutes on Wednesday and the Nuggets look like they'll be giving him big run. He's not a tremendous player for fantasy because he doesn't block a ton of shots, but he's certainly worth a look for anyone needing a big man.
Feb 27 - 7:26 PM

Updating a previous report, Wilson Chandler will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Jazz.

Gary Harris is going to stick with the starting unit for this one, and this is a very interesting move for head coach Brian Shaw. The Nuggets don't have a lot of healthy bodies, so Chandler should still be able to get his minutes, but he'll be a bit more of a risky play coming off the bench.
Feb 27 - 7:24 PM

C.J. Miles (foot) will remain in the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Cavs.

Miles is averaging 13.7 points and 1.8 three-pointers per game on 38.1 percent shooting from the field this season. He basically scores inefficiently, limiting his value to deeper leagues.
Feb 27 - 7:14 PM

Patrick Patterson will start over Amir Johnson on Friday.

It makes a lot of sense on offense to help space the floor for basically every other starter. Patterson's role shouldn't change too much and we're basically just going to see his minutes come next to different guys. Still, he has a nice upside and is worth a look in standard leagues in case he gets an extra 5-8 minutes tonight.
Feb 27 - 7:12 PM

Updating a previous report, James Harden (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Head coach Kevin McHale said that he has no plan to limit Harden's minutes, but he will keep an eye on his ankle and make adjustments if he’s in any noticeable pain. Harden has been an absolute beast this season, leading the league in scoring with 27.2 points per game while chipping in 5.8 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers. Get him active for tonight's favorable matchup against the Nets.
