The Nuggets are "100 percent" confident that Andre Iguodala will re-sign with the team.

That's a pretty bold statement from the team, but it speaks to the level of confidence they have in working out a new deal. "We've had some good discussions about that already. I had a good conversation with his agent last week. Andre's somebody we definitely want to bring back and he's well aware of our intentions to bring him back as well." Unless Iguodala really wants to leave the Nuggets, it sounds like there's a good chance he'll be back. New GM Tim Connelly called re-signing Iguodala "priority No. 1."

Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Kings.

If Giannis isn't able to go, Khris Middleton, O.J. Mayo, and Jared Dudley would be in line for extended minutes with Middleton and Mayo offering the most upside. Stay tuned.
Dec 18 - 2:28 PM

Andrew Bogut (knee) had a platelet-rich plasma treatment on Wednesday, and there is currently no timetable set for his return.

Bogut will be re-evaluated next week, but things aren't looking good for the oft-injured big man. He will not suit up for Thursday's game vs. OKC, and he should be considered doubtful for Monday's game against Sacramento. Draymond Green and Marreese Speights will be the primary beneficiaries with Bogut sidelined, and we'll be monitoring his status closely. Stay tuned.
Dec 18 - 2:21 PM

The Lakers have offered multiple picks and Steve Nash's expiring contract to the Celtics for Rajon Rondo, according to sources.

By our count, the Rondo sweepstakes now includes the Mavericks, Rockets, Kings, Knicks, and Lakers bidding for the point guard's services. It's unclear what Celtics president Danny Ainge will do with his myriad of offers, but it's becoming clear that Rondo won't be wearing Celtic green for much longer. Fantasy owners would be wise to stash Marcus Smart before a trade becomes official.
Dec 18 - 1:59 PM

Tyreke Evans (right knee contusion) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Rockets.

Evans is averaging 23.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.0 treys over his last five games, so his fantasy owners will have to keep their fingers crossed that he'll be able to play Thursday night. If Evans sits, Austin Rivers and Luke Babbitt would see increased playing time, though neither are a very attractive plug-and-play option.
Dec 18 - 12:50 PM

Derrick Rose (illness) is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Knicks.

Besides the fact that Rose has played in 11 consecutive games, the silver lining here is that his questionable status has nothing to do with his knees. We'll update his status as soon as we know more, but Rose looks to be headed towards a game-time decision for Thursday's game. If Rose sits against the Knicks, Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks would become viable plug-and-play options while Jimmy Butler would also see an uptick in his fantasy value.
Dec 18 - 12:35 PM

Lance Stephenson (pelvis) is doubtful for the Hornets' next two games with a pelvic sprain.

The Hornets play the 76ers on Friday and the Jazz on Saturday and it looks like they'll have to do so without Stephenson. We'll update his status after Friday's shootaround, but fantasy owners can expect to see more of Gerald Henderson, Marvin Williams, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Gary Neal if Stephenson is out for the weekend.
Dec 18 - 12:30 PM

Carmelo Anthony (knee soreness) is now expected to miss Thursday's game against the Bulls, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

Updating a previous item, Melo is now expected to sit Thursday night as he's dealing with knee soreness that Isola is reporting will require surgery after the season. With Amare Stoudemire (rest) already declared out for Thursday night, Tim Hardaway Jr. should see all the minutes he can handle if Anthony does indeed sit.
Dec 18 - 12:24 PM

Joakim Noah (ankle) is expected to play against the Knicks on Thursday.

Noah was a participant in shootaround and is expected to be available when the Bulls take on the Knicks Thursday night. Noah's owners can feel free to plug him back into their starting lineups, while Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic will see their fantasy value take a hit upon Noah's return.
Dec 18 - 12:18 PM

Amare Stoudemire (rest) will miss Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Carmelo Anthony is also questionable for Thursday, so we may see a very different lineup when the Knicks take the floor against the Bulls. Quincy Acy, Samuel Dalembert, and Travis Wear are likely to inherit most of STAT's minutes on Thursday, though none are worth a look for fantasy purposes outside of daily games.
Dec 18 - 11:32 AM

Carmelo Anthony (knee soreness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Amare Stoudemire (rest) has already been declared out for the game, so the Knicks will be extremely short-handed for Thursday's game if Melo sits. We'll update his status after shootaround, but Tim Hardaway Jr. could be in for big minutes if Melo joins Amare on the Knicks' bench Thursday night.
Dec 18 - 11:29 AM

Darko Milicic will make his pro boxing debut on Thursday.

In a lighter note, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft will Radovan Radojcin in a "prestige fight" during the "Soul Night of Champions" event in Serbia on December 18. Pistons fans may want to turn away, but Darko's promotional video can be found in the link below.
