LaMarcus Aldridge refuted rumors that he has demanded a trade from the Blazers.

A previous report stated that Aldridge would want to be traded to the Bulls or Mavericks if the Blazers don't significantly upgrade their roster, and he cleared up some misunderstandings on Saturday. "I haven't demanded a trade or cleared a way for my departure," Aldridge said. "It's not true. That's all I am saying right now." He also expressed "optimism" about Portland's future in an email sent to the Oregonian, and we don't expect him to openly lobby for a trade until the Blazers make their moves in free agency.

Hassan Whiteside's lacerated right hand didn't slow him down vs. the Spurs, as he racked up 10 points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks without any turnovers in 23 minutes off Miami's bench.

Whiteside played with an awkward bandage that limited the use of his right hand, but he made some emphatic right-handed blocks and produced more than fantasy owners could have reasonably anticipated. He almost had to play tonight with Udonis Haslem (illness) out of commission, but his solid play suggests he'll be fine for Thursday's road game regardless of Haslem's status. Keep Whiteside locked into all active lineups.

Dwyane Wade (left knee) played 34 minutes on Tuesday, posting 15 points, five rebounds and one assist while shooting a mere 6-of-20 from the field.

Erik Spoelstra suggested before the game that Miami isn't worried about Wade's knee -- Kawhi Leonard's defense deserves much credit tonight, but Wade was clearly laboring. A lingering injury led to his knee being drained this weekend and we'd likely see him on the sidelines if Miami's hold on the playoffs weren't so precarious. We'll leave him off the injury report but cautious owners should double-check Wade's status prior to Thursday's game in Cleveland.
Mar 31 - 11:10 PM

Kawhi Leonard was at it again on Tuesday, blitzing the Heat with 22 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), one 3-pointer, nine rebounds, three assists, four steals, two blocks and one turnover.

That's an almost pristine nine-cat game from Leonard, who is making an emphatic claim for Defensive Player of the Year honors. He's taken over game after game since the All-Star break, helping the Spurs find a groove that should scare the rest of the league, and he's carrying more than a few fantasy teams to the finish line.
Mar 31 - 11:08 PM

George Hill scored a game-high 28 points in Brooklyn on Tuesday, making 10-of-17 shots with four 3-pointers, six boards, three assists and zero turnovers in 32 minutes.

The Pacers' playoff chances took a big hit with tonight's 106-111 loss to the Nets, as they're now 1.5 games behind Brooklyn for the East's final playoff spot. Hill's fantasy owners might not care, however, as he's caught fire recently with five-game averages of 23.0 points, 2.8 triples, 5.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. That's even sweeter for owners who suffered through his interminable absence to begin the season.
Mar 31 - 10:46 PM

Thaddeus Young (left knee) returned to the Nets' starting lineup on Tuesday with eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and zero turnovers in a much-needed win vs. the Pacers.

He shot 4-of-11 from the field without any 3-pointers, but any notion of a minute-limit was abolished as he racked up 39 minutes tonight. Thad's true shooting has leaped to 55.4 percent in Brooklyn, up from 49.1 percent in Minnesota, and he should at least maintain his current late-round value as the Nets chase a playoff berth.
Mar 31 - 10:46 PM

Joe Johnson drained three 3-pointers vs. Indy on Tuesday, including a dagger late in the fourth quarter, finishing the Nets' home win with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The 14-year veteran averaged 19.0 points, 3.0 threes, 6.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.0 steals in his previous two games, bouncing back from an extended slump in the nick of time for fantasy owners. He's very unlikely to face any DNP-CDs with the Nets vying for a playoff spot -- coach Lionel Hollins even said before the game, "I don’t think managing your minutes lengthens your career by one minute."
Mar 31 - 10:44 PM

Thabo Sefolosha got hot in the second half of Tuesday's road loss, finishing with a season-high 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes.

The Hawks lost despite deploying their usual starting lineup but Sefolosha provided a silver lining, proving that he's fully recovered from the calf injury that caused him to miss 23 games. He may be worth fantasy owners' attention when the Hawks rest starters, but is tough to rely on with competition from Kent Bazemore (24 minutes), Shelvin Mack (24 minutes) and even Austin Day (seven minutes).
Mar 31 - 10:08 PM

Reggie Jackson battled nausea throughout Tuesday's game, which he still finished with 12 points, two 3-pointers, four boards, 11 assists and two turnovers.

Jackson played only 22 minutes and was clearly exhausted after short stints, requiring near-constant attention from Detroit's trainers throughout the game. It's to his credit that he gutted out a double-double in the Pistons' unexpected win vs. the Hawks, but fantasy owners should consider him questionable to suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets. Spencer Dinwiddie (ankle) is also iffy for that game, which could lead to huge minutes for John Lucas III.
Mar 31 - 10:01 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie (sprained left ankle) will not return on Tuesday.

He rolled his ankle in the first half and his absence leaves Detroit very thin at PG, as Reggie Jackson is battling an illness and John Lucas III has barely played recently. Dinwiddie has averaged 16.5 minutes over Detroit's previous 10 games, playing time that will shift to Lucas if he can't suit up for Wednesday's road game in Charlotte.
Mar 31 - 9:16 PM

Updating a previous report, C.J. Miles (sprained ankle) is doubtful to return to Tuesday's game.

He sprained his ankle in the first quarter and was able to return for a while, but Rodney Stuckey took his place in the starting lineup to begin the second half. We'll pass along an update after the game.
Mar 31 - 9:09 PM

Dennis Schroder's X-rays and MRI revealed a sprained toe, and the injury isn't believed to be serious.

Schroder himself Tweeted the update and this is terrific news for the Hawks, especially since they're likely to rest Jeff Teague and other starters down the stretch. When Schroder will return is still unclear but he'll be a nice pickup once he's active -- he finished March with solid averages of 13.9 points, 1.2 threes, 2.6 boards, 6.0 assists and 0.5 steals in just 24 minutes per game.
