Al Jefferson will sign a three-year deal worth estimated $41 million with the Charlotte Bobcats.

He will have an opt-out option after the second year of the contract. If he does opt out, he'll be 30 years old and would still be considered by most teams as an elite offensive big, assuming his career doesn't go south. The Bobcats had the worst frontcourt in the NBA last year, ranking last in frontcourt scoring and second-worst in frontcourt scoring allowed. Jefferson should help on offense and projects to be a nightly 20-10 threat.

DeMarcus Cousins (right ankle sprain) is a game-time call vs. the Nuggets on Sunday.

He didn't go through the morning shootaround, but he will do everything he can to play in tonight's must-win game -- the Pelicans trail the Nuggets (No. 8 seed) by 5.0 games. If Boogie can't go, Dante Cunningham and Solomon Hill will get a bump, but they aren't great options in fantasy. Jrue Holiday and Anthony Davis will get a nice usage bump as well if Boogie sits.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (illness) is starting vs. the Hawks on Sunday.

As cautious as the Nets are, this a pleasant surprise for RHJ's fantasy owners. His minutes are still being held in check, but RHJ will continue to be a solid source of rebounds and defensive stats going forward.

Taurean Prince will start on Sunday vs. the Nets.

This will be the rookie's first career NBA start. With Paul Millsap (knee), Kent Bazemore (knee) and Thabo Sefolosha (groin)) all out, Prince does have some streaming appeal with per-36 minute averages of 11.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.2 triples. He's looking at a heavy workload this afternoon and does offer plenty of upside in the money categories.
Mar 26 - 12:10 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (groin) will not play on Sunday vs. the Nets.

He joins Kent Bazemore (knee) and Paul Millsap (knee) on the injury report. This isn't the same groin that sidelined him for nine straight games earlier this season, but it's not clear how severe the issue is. It's possible the Hawks are giving him the night off against the worst team in the league as well. Taurean Prince will get his first NBA start and is worth a look if you want to stream some rebounds, triples and defensive stats.
Mar 26 - 12:06 PM

T.J. Warren (left foot contusion) is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Hornets.

He should be good to go after a two-game absence. The Suns have said very little about Warren's injury, but the good news is that this is not the same foot that he fractured last year. Unless we hear of any restrictions, Warren's owners will want to plug him back into active lineups -- he's averaging 17.3 points on 58.3 percent shooting with 7.6 rebounds since the All-Star break. Derrick Jones. Jr. and Jared Dudley are the biggest losers with Warren back.

Hassan Whiteside (sprained ankle) feels "a lot better" and is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Celtics.

The big man sat out of Saturday's practice as a precaution, but it sounds like he's ready for a full workload. He was also talking about the matchup with Boston, so his status doesn't appear to be in jeopardy. We'll confirm that he's starting, but go ahead and get him active. According to Heat reporter Ira Winderman, Whiteside will be a "full go."

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (illness) is a game-time call on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Fantasy owners know the drill here. The Nets are super cautious, so they may hold RHJ out if he's not feeling up to it. This also gives them an excuse to take a long look at K.J. McDaniels. If RHJ can't go, McDaniels and Caris LeVert will likely get the biggest boost, while the Nets won't be able to play as much small ball.
Mar 26 - 11:43 AM

An MRI on Paul Millsap's left knee came back clean according to Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Millsap has already been ruled out for the fourth straight game on Sunday vs. the Nets, but based on Budenholzer's comments, the All-Star forward is likely day-to-day. His injury was previously described as "tightness" in his left knee, but Budenholzer added that he has some swelling as well. He should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Suns. Ersan Ilyasova will continue to be the primary beneficiary in his absence.
Mar 26 - 11:32 AM

Jahlil Okafor (knee soreness) will not play on Sunday vs. the Pacers.

This will be his second game in a row on the shelf. He's dealing with soreness in his surgically-repaired knee, so the 76ers are going to be cautious moving forward. Richaun Holmes has been a must-own player for weeks, but Shawn Long is on the radar in deeper leagues after he scored a career-high 18 points with seven rebounds, one assist and two steals in 19 minutes vs. the Bulls on Friday.
Mar 26 - 11:25 AM

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said Ryan Anderson will "probably" be out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

"I hate it for Ryan," D'Antoni said. "I hate that he's not here. But we have enough to cover it up." Anderson has already been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder and he currently doesn't have a timetable to return. With Anderson out, the Rockets will likely have to play more small ball with Trevor Ariza at the four, and D'Antoni mentioned that Lou Williams, Eric Gordon and Sam Dekker will likely see a bump in minutes.

C.J. McCollum made scoring 32 points look easy during a 112-100 win over the Wolves on Saturday, making 11-of-13 from the field and all six free throws with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Not bad on efficiency with a 102.3 true shooting percentage. Damian Lillard said McCollum is the best midrange player in the league, but McCollum said on the Blazers broadcast that he's the best "in the world." He may be right with C.J. way above league average in non-restricted paint scoring, midrange and on 3-pointers. For a guy who gets 48.3 percent of his shots on pull-ups, McCollum is vastly underrated as an elite scorer in the NBA. His fantasy owners certainly don't underrate him thanks to his top-20 value in standard leagues this season.
