The Magic formally announced Victor Oladipo's rookie contract on Sunday, just before he posted 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals in his Summer League debut.

Oladipo showed admirable versatility on both ends of the court today, looking every bit the combo guard while scoring both outside and inside. He tweaked his right ankle and limped off the court at one point, but quickly returned to the game. His rookie contract will pay him $4.8 and $5.0 million over the next two seasons, with team options for years three and four.

James Johnson started at small forward and scored 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting with two rebounds, four steals and two blocks in 33 minutes on Monday against the Bulls.

Johnson was probably added a few weeks ago for potential like this and after some underwhelming games and the potential return of DeMar DeRozan he could have easily been dropped. With DeRozan now out until the end of the Raptors' road trip, there's 1-2 week window for Johnson to redeem himself with owners, and tonight's game is a nice down payment on that.
Dec 23 - 12:06 AM

Terrence Ross hit five 3-pointers in Monday's loss to the Bulls, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting, four rebounds, two steals and one block over 35 minutes.

Ross got 11 3-point attempts up before fouling out and he's hot right now. With top 95-120 value (9/8 cat) on the season, he should be owned in most standard formats and benched whenever he cools off.
Dec 23 - 12:03 AM

James Harden dominated the Blazers on Monday during a 110-95 win, scoring 44 points with three rebounds, seven assists, five steals and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

On top of all that, he had just one turnover. Harden had 31 points, five dimes and five steals at halftime and the Blazers couldn't do anything to stop him. In his last five games with Dwight Howard in the lineup, Harden averaged 29.6 points, 6.0 boards, 9.2 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.2 triples. He's in the hunt for MVP.
Dec 22 - 11:58 PM

Tiago Splitter is starting against the Clippers on Monday.

Dec 22 - 8:30 PM

Meyers Leonard will start in place of LaMarcus Aldridge on Monday.

This is a little bit of a surprise, but coach Terry Stotts must want to bring Thomas Robinson off the bench. Leonard has played in just nine games all season and usually only gets in the game for garbage time, so fantasy owners shouldn't be too excited about his start. Robinson is still the best option tonight.
Dec 22 - 7:42 PM

Jeff Teague (hamstring) will not play on Monday night against the Mavericks.

He is without a timetable and could miss additional games. Teague was outstanding before his injury and was close to being a No. 1 fantasy point guard, but the Hawks are just fine with Dennis Schroder and Shelvin Mack. Schroder is worth a look in daily leagues in a favorable matchup.
Dec 22 - 7:38 PM

Timofey Mozgov went to the locker room due to excessive bleeding to his face on Monday and did return.

Gerald Henderson caught him in the face and Mozgov was bleeding like he was in a fight with someone. Mozgov received four stitches and should be fine.
Dec 22 - 7:24 PM

James Johnson will start against the Bulls on Monday night in place of Landry Fields (concussion).

He didn't have a huge night in his Sunday start, but the two blocks and efficient shooting were big positives. Johnson is worth a look in standard leagues and it's possible he sticks in the starting lineup with a couple big games.
Dec 22 - 7:19 PM

Tony Parker (hamstring) is going to start on Monday against the Clippers and see limited minutes.

As per usual, there's no telling what limited means with the Spurs. One thing that is clear is that fantasy owners of Cory Joseph should dial down their expectations tonight. Parker is worth owning in standard leagues, but will likely rest a lot this season.
Dec 22 - 6:49 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) will not play on Monday night.

It'll be his second game out of the lineup and John Leuer will get another run in the starting lineup. Randolph owners will probably want to bench him considering this is a knee injury. Leuer is worth a look in standard leagues for short-term value.
Dec 22 - 6:40 PM

Landry Fields (concussion) will not play against the Bulls on Monday.

After he was cleared of a concussion on Saturday, the team eventually diagnosed him with one on Sunday. James Johnson played 24 minutes and had a decent line, so expect him to have a solid outing tonight, as well.
