Trey Burke struggled in his pro debut on Sunday, shooting 1-of-12 from the floor for eight points with seven boards, five assists, one steal and two turnovers in 32 minutes against the Heat.

The concern with Burke was his lack of size and that issue was on full display Sunday. He was able to break his man down off the dribble from time to time, but he had some issues at getting around the bigger bodies in the paint. On the other hand, Burke showed some nice creativity on his passes, wasn't careless with the ball and didn't look too bad on defense. We'll need to see a lot more sub-par outings to be discouraged on Burke.

J.J. Redick had 18 points and four 3-pointers in just 17 minutes, and will take the night off on Wednesday.

Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison should pick up his slack, but they could probably use some rest as well. It's probably best to avoid the Clippers' shooting guards in fantasy on Wednesday. Collison had 10 points in 24 minutes on Tuesday, while Crawford hit 3-of-9 shots and zero 3-pointers for nine points in 31 minutes.

Blake Griffin had 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block on 9-of-17 shooting, but also picked up his 16th technical foul on Tuesday, which will earn him a one-game suspension for Wednesday's game.

He hit Timofey Mozgov in the face while following through on a block attempt, and while it wasn't intentional, it fits the definition of a technical foul. It could be rescinded and he could be allowed to play, but we're guessing Doc Rivers will take it easy on all the starters in a somewhat meaningless game. If the Thunder beat the Pistons, the Clippers are locked into the No. 3 seed in the West. Suspension or not, don't expect a lot from Blake on Wednesday. Look for the Thunder to try to beat the Pistons, as they play 2.5 hours prior to the Clippers tip off. And if it appears the Thunder will win when the Clippers tip off, the starters may all get a rest tomorrow.

Timofey Mozgov left Tuesday's game early with a right knee injury and went to the locker room, but was able to return a short time later.

He must have just knocked his knee, avoiding a serious injury. If you need Mozgov in your lineup tonight, a crisis looks to have been avoided.

J.J. Redick will start along with the other Clippers regulars on Tuesday, but Doc Rivers says he won't play on Wednesday.

The Clippers want to win out and hope the Clippers lose again to get the No. 2 seed, but it's still a long shot. It sounds like all systems go for the Clippers tonight, so play them as you normally would. All bets are off for Wednesday, though.

Carmelo Anthony has been diagnosed with a torn labrum in his right shoulder, but he will not require surgery.

Melo will be re-evaluated in one month and it's very interesting that an MRI revealed the tear only after he'd played in a number of games to help the Knicks' slim chances of making the playoffs. While his toughness is commendable, the Knicks' medical staff and management have questions to answer about letting their star risk aggravating a serious injury. Carmelo is expected to enter free agency via his early-termination option, and once the playoffs end he'll be the focus of this summer's FA frenzy.
Apr 15 - 6:44 PM

Amare Stoudemire will start at PF vs. the Nets on Tuesday.

He was a game-time decision but coach Mike Woodson said Amare would determine his own status, so apparently he felt good enough to play. Whether he suits up again on Wednesday is less certain, as is his long-term future in the NBA -- Amare said on Tuesday that he'll consider leaving to play for his team in Israel after the 2014-15 season.
Apr 15 - 6:39 PM

Joe Johnson will play on Tuesday despite a minor calf injury.

Johnson isn't worth the $48 million he'll earn over the next two seasons, but he's averaging a solid 15.8 points, 2.1 threes, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists during an All-Star season in Brooklyn. Regardless of how he looks on Tuesday, fantasy owners should consider him a DNP risk in Wednesday's finale.
Apr 15 - 6:32 PM

Deron Williams (knee) will play vs. the Knicks on Tuesday.

D-Will has been dealing with tendinitis in his right knee and it wouldn't be surprising to see him rest during Wednesday's game, as the Nets aren't likely to take risks with their oft-injured PG.
Apr 15 - 6:29 PM

Blazers coach Terry Stotts said that he may rest LaMarcus Aldridge and Mo Williams for Portland's season finale on Wednesday.

We should learn Stotts' plan after shootaround on Wednesday, and some precautionary DNPs aren't unexpected since the Blazers cannot move up or down in the playoff standings. Even if they win on Wednesday while the fourth-place Rockets lose, the Rockets will retain home-court advantage because they own the tie-breaker over the Blazers.
Apr 15 - 4:51 PM

Goran Dragic (ankle) will not play in the Suns' season finale on Wednesday.

Dragic has been playing on an injured ankle for the past few games and he was a DNP candidate the moment the Suns were eliminated from the playoffs on Monday. He'll finish the season with numerous career-highs, averaging 20.3 points on 50.5 percent shooting, 1.6 threes, 3.2 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals.
Apr 15 - 4:22 PM

Paul George, David West, Lance Stephenson and C.J. Watson will all rest during Wednesday's season finale vs. the Magic.

With the first seed in the East locked up, the Pacers are just trying to give their key players some rest while hoping to reclaim the elusive chemistry that abandoned them after the All-Star break. After shooting a mere 37.2 percent from the field in March, George is still stuck at 40.2 percent in April.
