Chauncey Billups agreed on a two-year, $5 million-plus contract to play for the Pistons.

He played with the team from 2002-08 and won a championship as the NBA Finals MVP of the 2004 title run over the Lakers. Things will be different this time around at age 36 and Billups should play near 20 minutes per game. He won't be worth drafting in most fantasy leagues and really struggled to stay healthy last year.

Gorgui Dieng will come off the bench on Saturday against the Cavs.

First things first, do not even think about dropping Dieng. He's a wonderful per-minute player in fantasy leagues and he should see minutes in the mid-20s. He's still likely to put up mid-to-late round value.
Jan 31 - 7:53 PM

Mo Williams (hip) and Zach LaVine (ankle) will not play against the Cavs on Saturday.

With Ricky Rubio (ankle) out for one more game, it'll be Lorenzo Brown in the starting lineup against Kyrie Irving. Williams shouldn't be out for too long and Rubio will play Monday, so there's no need to add Brown. He's worth a look in DFS, though.
Jan 31 - 7:34 PM

Rajon Rondo (head) will not return to Saturday's game vs. the Magic.

He was struck in the head by teammate Richard Jefferson's foot while trying to collect a loose ball and was ruled out for the rest of the game a few moments later. Rondo's nose was pouring blood right after it happened, and there's a good chance that he could have a concussion. Rondo isn't expected to be re-evaluated until he returns to Dallas, so we will provide an update as soon as we hear anything. Devin Harris figures to see an uptick in minutes with this news, while Monta Ellis will have even more responsibility.
Jan 31 - 7:32 PM

Ersan Ilyasova (groin) will not play against the Blazers on Saturday.

He just can't stay healthy with the injuries just piling up. Fantasy owners can cut him in most leagues and he'll likely be on a minutes limit upon his return. Expect Jared Dudley and Khris Middleton to benefit most with Ghostface Ilya out of the lineup.
Jan 31 - 6:49 PM

Shabazz Muhammad (oblique) could return to action in as little as one week.

He's been out of action since Jan. 9, so the Wolves will likely ease him back into action upon his return. Muhammad's role is a little uncertain now that Kevin Martin is healthy, but Muhammad should get some as the season progresses with the Wolves looking towards the future, making him worth a flier in most leagues.
Jan 31 - 6:42 PM

Zach LaVine (ankle) is a game-time decision to face the Cavs on Saturday.

It's going to come down to the wire and the Wolves tend to play things close to the vest most nights. LaVine rolled his ankle badly on Friday, but he was able to return. If he's out and if Mo Williams can't go, it'll be Lorenzo Brown against Kyrie Irving.
Jan 31 - 6:37 PM

Kevin Durant (toe) is going through warmups on Saturday before the game against the Grizzlies.

He is a game-time decision and we should have news on his status soon. It appears Durant is at least trying to suit up for a very important game. His owners will want to check back soon. If he's out, Perry Jones will start while Dion Waiters and Reggie Jackson benefit most.
Jan 31 - 6:31 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (calf) will be out for at least 6-8 weeks.

This is a tough blow for the Hawks, but Sefolosha was only averaging 19 minutes per game this season, so his absence shouldn't make too many fantasy implications. Kent Bazemore will likely fill the void for the Hawks, and with DeMarre Carroll also out with an Achilles injury, Bazemore is worth a look in deeper leagues.
Jan 31 - 6:22 PM

Kenneth Faried (illness) and Darrell Arthur (illness) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.

That means there should be a lot of J.J. Hickson and the Nuggets will also use Wilson Chandler as a stretch four. That should also open up some minutes for Alonzo Gee and Danilo Gallinari, as well. Faried should be back for Tuesday against the 76ers.
Jan 31 - 6:01 PM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) will not play against the Mavericks on Saturday.

There is no word on the severity of the issue, but it doesn't sound serious. Oladipo hasn't had any noteworthy Achilles issues in his NBA career and hopefully this is just a one-time thing. Evan Fournier will get the start and is worth a long look as a spot starter.
Jan 31 - 5:53 PM

Jonas Valanciunas (ankle) and Amir Johnson (foot) will play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Valanciunas was liming badly on Friday night, but it sounds like he's ready to go without a restriction. Johnson and JV back in the lineup hurt the chances of Patrick Patterson having a good game. Fantasy owners can use Valanciunas in a sub-par matchup.
