Kawhi Leonard will not participate at Team USA minicamp because he is "rehabbing after a long NBA season."

He dealt with some quadriceps tendinitis, causing him to miss a month of action in November and December, then also missed a handful of games during the remainder of the regular season. Leonard emerged in the playoffs and his postseason averages of 13.5 points, 9.0 boards, 1.8 steals and 1.1 triples on 54.5 percent shooting and certainly whetted our appetite to target him in upcoming fantasy drafts.

Tony Parker is dealing a left quadriceps contusion and Coach Pop indicated Parker would remain day-to-day when the team starts a three-game road trip beginning Monday in Milwaukee.

Parker appeared to tweak his leg in Tuesday’s home loss to Orlando. He dressed but did not play Wednesday, when the Spurs won in Dallas. He was also sidelined Friday night. It marked the seventh game Parker missed this season. For the second straight game, rookie Nicolas Laprovittola started at point guard for the Spurs. Parker is suffering through, by far, his least productive season since 2001-02, when he was a 19-year old rookie. Patty Mills is actually the preferred fantasy option at this point.

Seth Curry (mild knee sprain) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Bulls.

Curry suffered a mild sprain of his right knee on Wednesday, which caused him to miss Thursday's game. If Curry doesn't play on Saturday, Deron Williams, Devin Harris and Jonathan Gibson would see a slight uptick in minutes.

James Harden scored 20 points during a 128-110 win in Denver on Friday, adding six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, five turnovers and one 3-pointer.

Not a bad win for a team that didn't get into the high altitude until 5 a.m. following a win in Oakland. Harden's shot was off a bit and it took him until late in the fourth to make his trey, which made him the first player in Rockets history to make a 3-pointer in each of the first 20 games of a season. The Rockets are completely ridiculous with their 3-pointers lately, attempting 39.4 per game in their last five. Meanwhile, they've only taken 6.0 midrange shots in their last five -- Harrison Barnes has taken 8.2 midrange shots per game in his last five. Harden is an MVP candidate with his league-leading assists and has his team sitting in the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference.
Dec 3 - 2:57 AM

Sam Dekker scored a career-high 17 points against the Nuggets on Friday, adding four rebounds, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

It was a fantastic game for Dekker, who was already playing the best ball of his career coming into this game. He played clutch minutes against the Warriors on Thursday and is fitting right in for coach Mike D'Antoni with minutes at both forward spots. With Trevor Ariza (back) going down tonight, Dekker is a speculative add in competitive leagues.
Dec 3 - 2:27 AM

Wilson Chandler scored 24 points in a 128-110 loss the Rockets on Friday with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Coach Mike Malone was not happy with how his team defended the three, but it likely wasn't on Chandler. Malone has called Chandler a blessing and it may not be a surprise to see him get the starting lineup, as well. With Chandler as arguably their best healthy player right now and how awful the Nuggets are playing, Malone may up Chandler's minutes on Saturday. He should be owned in all leagues.

Marcin Gortat went off for 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting with 18 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals before fouling out in 42 minutes against the Spurs on Friday.

He's averaging a career-high 35.2 minutes per game and this was the second time this season that he played 42 minutes. Ian Mahinmi (knee) can't stay healthy and coach Scott Brooks doesn't trust his bench at all, but Gortat's owners aren't complaining. He's flirting with top-50 value in standard leagues and his owners just have to hope that the Wizards can remain relevant in the East.
Dec 3 - 1:58 AM

Will Barton hit the ground running in his return to the starting lineup on Friday, scoring 17 points with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.

Well, he looks like himself again. Barton had been battling his ankle sprain since Halloween and only played in three games since then -- he also was awful in those three with a 21.4 field goal percentage. Simply put, Barton has to be picked up everywhere after this one.
Dec 3 - 1:39 AM

Dwyane Wade (rest) will not play against the Mavs on Saturday.

He is scheduled to get the game off and did not travel with the team to Dallas. On Friday, Wade was fantastic with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes. The Bulls will likely try to limit him when they can, especially in road back-to-backs against weaker opponents.
Dec 3 - 1:34 AM

Rajon Rondo triple-doubled against the Cavs on Friday with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

He's had a few phenomenal matchups to get him going strong and his coach has been impressed with how he runs the offense. "I thought Rondo was great all night long," coach Fred Hoiberg said. "You could hear him yelling 'Run with me' to all the guys all game." Rondo will take his momentum in an ultimate revenge game against the Mavs and Mark Cuban with Dwyane Wade (rest) out. After Saturday, it's not a bad idea to try and sell high off the string of favorable matchups.
Dec 3 - 1:31 AM

Pau Gasol returned from a day of rest in a 107-105 win vs. the Wizards on Friday and scored 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting with 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

It looks like the maintenance day worked, as Gasol averaged 7.6 points per game in his last three appearances. His days as an elite fantasy asset likely ended the moment he signed in San Antonio, but he's still capable of returning mid-round value.
Dec 3 - 1:31 AM

Updating a previous report, Trevor Ariza left Friday's game vs. Denver with back spasms.

He didn't return, but there was only a few minutes left. Ariza played 43 minutes the night before and logged 31 minutes tonight, but luckily he gets two days off before Monday's game vs. Boston. He finished with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds, three assists, five steals and four treys. If we get some bad news on Ariza, Sam Dekker would get some extra burn. To be clear, Ariza should be fine.
