When asked if Rick Adelman would return as the Wolves' coach, Kevin Martin replied, "Yes, that’s the story I've heard through this whole process."

Adelman led a practice for the Wolves' Summer League team and he's reportedly engaged Elston Turner about joining his staff, so all signs point to him pacing the sidelines in Minnesota next season. It's good news for K-Mart, who is already comfortable with Adelman from their days together in Houston.

Rudy Gay (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Celtics on Sunday.

He rolled his ankle on Friday and did not return. The Kings will desperately need Gay to help save Karl's job, but that might not happen. If Gay doesn't play, Omri Casspi should get the start and get a chance to rebound from a rough stretch. Darren Collison and Marco Belinelli should also benefit.
Feb 6 - 4:43 PM

Allen Crabbe (illness) will miss Saturday's game against the Rockets.

He showed up at the arena with an illness and he is officially inactive. That should mean more minutes for Gerald Henderson and Moe Harkless. If you have Crabbe in your DFS lineup, you might need to swap him out.
Feb 6 - 4:08 PM

Noah Vonleh (ankle) will not play on Saturday against the Rockets.

It'll be Moe Harkless getting another start, but that doesn't mean much with Harkless only getting 16 minutes on Thursday. Allen Crabbe figures to get a nice bump here with some smaller lineups while Al-Farouq Aminu plays a lot of four. Vonleh could be back before the break.
Feb 6 - 3:35 PM

Tiago Splitter (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday against the Magic.

He is likely out through the break with his troublesome hip injury. Expect more Mike Muscala and Mike Scott to back up Al Horford. Splitter can be dropped basically everywhere.
Feb 6 - 3:30 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) and Mike Dunleavy (back) are questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Wolves.

Gasol sat out of Friday's game vs. the Nuggets, so he will likely be a game-time call. Cameron Bairstow started in his place and scored four points with four boards and five fouls in 10 minutes, so Bobby Portis is the better option in fantasy if Gasol misses another game.
Feb 6 - 2:20 PM

Jimmy Butler (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Wolves.

He is reportedly dealing with a hyperextended left knee, but the Bulls still haven't released the results of his MRI. Until then, he should be considered day-to-day. Derrick Rose, Tony Snell and E'Twaun Moore will all have to step up in Butler's absence.
Feb 6 - 2:19 PM

Tobias Harris (eye) is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

He is dealing with a cut above his left eye that required stitches, but the injury sounds very minor. There will be another update after Sunday's morning shootaround, but it's safe to pencil him into all active lineups.
Feb 6 - 1:39 PM

Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett and Nikola Pekovic (foot) are all doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Bulls.

To be clear, none of them will play and the Wolves should've just listed them as out. Martin may not play again until the trade deadline, and by that by point he might be wearing a different uniform. He's not worth stashing in most leagues, while Zach LaVine will continue to benefit in his absence.
Feb 6 - 1:34 PM

Mike Conley will consider all options when he becomes a free agent this summer.

"I think everything will be on the table when the time comes," Conley said. "I haven’t committed to anything." The Grizzlies might be a little nervous following this quote, as Conley will have the ability to walk at the end of the season as an unrestricted free agent. Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace has already stated that Conley will be the team's "No. 1 priority" this summer, but there will certainly be a lot of competition for his signature.
Feb 6 - 1:27 PM

Tim Duncan (knee) will not play on Saturday vs. the Lakers as expected.

He was never expected to play and the Spurs still haven't released a timetable for his return. Coach Gregg Popovich did say on Friday that Duncan was making some progress, so stash him in an IR spot if possible. David West, Boris Diaw and Boban Marjanovic will pick up the slack.
Feb 6 - 1:04 PM

Ian Mahinmi (back) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Pistons.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel said on Friday that Mahinmi was probable, so he has a very good chance of returning from a four-game absence tonight. Mahinmi has been a pleasant surprise all season with averages of 8.5 points, 7.1 boards and 1.0 blocks, so he's worth a look if you need a low-end big. Jordan Hill and Lavoy Allen will lose minutes upon Mahinmi's return.
