Kyrie Irving scored 23 points with three boards, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes in the Team USA Showcase on Thursday.

He looked like a superstar and he's one of the most deadly players with his dribbling skills. Kyrie has been hamstrung by injuries to limit his true potential, but he's just 21 years old and we probably haven't seen the best out of him yet. If you want him in your fantasy draft, be prepared to spend a first-round pick.

Anthony Davis (left adductor), Dante Cunningham (knee) and Jameer Nelson (ankle) are being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Davis has missed four of the past six games with this groin issue, so they likely won't be bringing him back until he's cleared 100 percent. We'll have a better idea on his status following shootaround, but if he's out again and Cunningham joins him on the sidelines, Darius Miller would be forced into heavy minutes while DeMarcus Cousins and Jrue Holiday would dominate the offense. If Nelson is out, that'll be good news for Rajon Rondo.
Dec 12 - 4:17 PM

Danilo Gallinari (left glute contusion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

It's not great that Gallinari is getting ruled out a full day in advance, and considering the right glute contusion cost him 13 games on the sidelines, he could be looking at another lengthy absence here. Jamil Wilson will have another opportunity to start on Wednesday sans Gallinari, there will be more minutes available for Wes Johnson and Montezl Harrell and Lou Williams will see an uptick in usage.
Dec 12 - 4:10 PM

Joe Johnson (wrist) is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reported on Tuesday that the Jazz are expecting Johnson to get back to the court sometime this week, so maybe he'll be able to get back out there on Wednesday night. We'll have a better idea on his status following shootaround, but with Johnson on the cusp of a return and Rodney Hood (ankle) cleared for Wednesday's game, guys like Alec Burks and Thabo Sefolosha could start to see their playing time dwindle.
Dec 12 - 3:55 PM

Rodney Hood (sore left ankle) will play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Finally. Hood has spent the past seven games on the sidelines, but the Jazz will get their leading scorer back in action on Wednesday night. He could be somewhat limited after spending the past two weeks on the shelf, but once he's fully up to speed, he might take away minutes from Alec Burks and Thabo Sefolosha.
Dec 12 - 3:47 PM

Tyson Chandler will remain in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Kings.

We typically don't announce non-changes, but the Suns have been so random with their rotations, we figured we'd put this out there. With Chandler active, there won't be as many minutes available for Greg Monroe and Alex Len, in fact, one of those guys could be headed for a DNP-CD. Chandler is little more than a rebounding specialist in deep leagues.
Dec 12 - 3:28 PM

Nicolas Batum (elbow) is being listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Batum said on Sunday that he was "not even close to 100 percent," and the doubtful tag suggests he'll be spending his second game in a row on the sidelines on Wednesday night. Jeremy Lamb figures to earn another start and there will be more minutes available for Treveon Graham and Dwayne Bacon. Batum owners can expect another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.
Dec 12 - 3:17 PM

Tony Allen has been diagnosed with a non-displaced left proximal fibula fracture and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks of action.

Allen isn't a huge part of the rotation in New Orleans, so there won't be a large impact in fantasy hoops with him out. Darius Miller and Dante Cunningham will likely pick up most of his minutes, but neither of those guys are worth owning in most leagues.
Dec 12 - 3:10 PM

Cory Joseph (sore left shoulder) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Darren Collison (sore knee) is also questionable to play on Wednesday, and if both those guys are out, we could see Victor Oladipo shift over to point guard with Lance Stephenson moving into the starting five and there would be more minutes available for Joe Young. Check back for another update on Joseph following Wednesday morning's shootaround.
Dec 12 - 3:03 PM

Coach Gregg Popovich said Kawhi Leonard (quad) is "good to go" for Tuesday's game vs. the Mavericks but that Leonard will be on a minutes restriction.

He's back! The Spurs managed to win 19 of their first 27 games this season and now welcome back one of the best two-way players on the planet. Considering Leonard hasn't played in an NBA game in over six months, Coach Pop will likely keep Kawhi on a minutes cap over his first few appearances. The Spurs will also probably rest him sporadically. Kawhi finished last season ranked fourth overall in nine-category fantasy leagues, averaging 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 treys, 1.8 steals and 0.7 blocks.
Dec 12 - 12:51 PM

Aaron Gordon (concussion) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Clippers

Gordon, who is dealing with a "mild" concussion, was able to do full-court sprint work on Monday and reportedly is hopeful he will able to play Wednesday night. However, Gordon still has to be cleared by team doctors and an independent physician in order to exit concussion protocol. If Gordon is able to suit up, Mario Hezonja would get bumped back to the bench.
Dec 12 - 11:42 AM

If Kevin Love (hip) and Tristan Thompson (calf) "come through pregame workouts OK, they will play," according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

The Cavs and Hawks tip-off at 7 pm EST, so we should have confirmation on the status of both players by around 5:30, well before roster locks in DFS. Coach Lue has already said Thompson will come off the bench upon his return. If Love can suit up on Tuesday, Ante Zizic would get bumped out of the starting lineup and likely out of the rotation altogether. Channing Frye and Jeff Green would also see fewer minutes off the bench.
