Rockets signed Marcus Camby to a one-year contract worth the veteran's minimum.

Camby met with Rockets' team doctors and passed a physical for them this week, and he'll have a level of familiarity with Houston after playing there during the 2011-12 season. The presence of both Dwight Howard and Omer Asik means that Camby won't get many minutes, but he grew up in Texas and wanted to play for a contender. And it's always possible that Asik, an elite defender on a reasonable contract, will be traded mid-season.

The Cavaliers reportedly have strong interest in signing unrestricted free agent Mike Dunleavy.

While Dunleavy is expected to re-sign with Chicago, LeBron James is reportedly a fan of Dunleavy and the Cavs are expected to make a push for the swing man. The 34-year-old isn't much of a fantasy asset after averaging 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.7 three-pointers in 63 games during the 2014-15 regular season, but he could be worth a late-round flier in standard leagues if he lands a role as a starter with the Cavs.

Marc Gasol will reportedly only meet with the Grizzlies when free agency begins on July 1.

Gasol is set to host a contingent of Grizzlies officials when free agency begins and has declined to schedule any meetings with rival teams who are interested in him. We'll keep an eye on the situation, but it sounds like Grizzlies fans can exhale as a verbal agreement will presumably follow Wednesday's meeting in Spain.

Dwyane Wade is unlikely to leave the Miami Heat, according to multiple sources.

Wade is set to become a free agent after he declined to pick up his player option for the 2015-16 season, but various sources have indicated that Wade is likely to re-sign with the Heat unless he receives the perfect offer from another team. We'll keep an eye on Wade's destination as the free agency process unfolds, but it sounds like Heat fans shouldn't start burning their D-Wade jerseys just yet.

Brook Lopez is expected to return to the Brooklyn Nets.

According to Michael Scotto of Sheridan Sports, there is mutual interest from the Nets and from Lopez in having the big man return to Brooklyn. Lopez is reportedly looking for a three-year deal in the $60 million range and with the Nets deciding to trade Mason Plumlee last week, it's looking more and more likely that Lopez will get his terms.
Jun 30 - 10:19 AM

LaMarcus Aldridge will visit with the Lakers when the free agency period starts on July 1.

The Lakers will get the first pitch to Aldridge and L.A. Clippers beat writer Ben Bolch thinks they're the favorite, but insiders have yet to follow suit with that prediction putting him most likely with the Spurs or his old Blazers squad. After he meets with the Lakers he'll see the Rockets, Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Raptors and Knicks (in that order). Expect there to be a ton of rumors tugging in every direction from here on out.

Kyle Korver will have surgery on his right elbow to remove loose bodies.

He's already recovering from right ankle surgery and chances are this surgery is less severe. Korver is on track to be ready for camp and hopefully this surgery doesn't affect his sweet stroke from 3-point range.

The Hornets will not tender a qualifying offer to Bismack Biyombo and he is now an unrestricted free agent.

The Hornets are really changing their team this summer. Noah Vonleh is with the Blazers, they added Nicolas Batum, and they think the world of Frank Kaminsky. Bismack actually came around on offense a bit last season, but that's not saying much because he was awful on that end before the 2014-15 season. Expect him to wind up on another team as a backup.

Coach Jeff Hornacek denied reports that the Suns are looking to deal Eric Bledsoe.

"Eric is a big part of our future and there was no entertainment of that," Hornacek said. With the Suns reportedly set to offer Brandon Knight a five-year, $70 million deal, it's not going to be easy to have two of those deals essentially for just one position -- they would obviously play next to each other a lot. Expect plenty more Bledsoe rumors in the next couple weeks.
Jun 29 - 4:39 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge is planning to have a meeting with the Raptors.

The Raptors do have some money under the cap to go after Aldridge, but the Spurs are still considered as the favorites. The Raptors had some issues at power forward last year and Jonas Valanciunas still hasn't come around on offense. LaMarcus figures to be one of the first unrestricted free agents to sign.
Jun 29 - 3:57 PM

Dwyane Wade will not pick up his player option for next season and will be a free agent.

The vast majority of players are opting out this summer, so he still could wind up with the Heat next season. Still, Miami is the favorite to land Wade, but Goran Dragic figures to be a better bet to be in a Heat uniform next season. Expect Wade to get some interviews with some contending teams.

Nets executives believe there is a trade market for Deron Williams, according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com.

The Nets are hopeful that teams believe a change of scenery will help Williams. Besides a big 35-point game against the Hawks on Apr. 27, Williams failed to score more than 13 points in 10 of his last 11 games last year (playoffs included). The Nets are short on picks and may need to start rebuilding.
