Bucks acquired PG Brandon Knight from the Pistons as part of the Brandon Jennings sign-and-trade.

Jennings didn't want to be in Milwaukee anymore, forcing the franchise's hand. Now they'll try to groom Knight as their franchise point guard. It's a role he didn't look totally comfortable in while playing a combo guard role through two NBA seasons in Detroit, but he's just 21 years old and has plenty of talent. Knight joins an interesting young core in Milwaukee that also includes Larry Sanders, John Henson, O.J. Mayo and Ersan Ilyasova. He has a real chance to build on last year's averages of 13.3 points, 4.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds.

Jonathan Isaac (ankle) is still dealing with swelling and he will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

He did not practice on Friday and it sounds like he could miss more time. With Isaac out, it's been Marreese Speights logging the minutes behind Aaron Gordon while Mario Hezonja was in the rotation for seven minutes in the last one. Isaac is still a decent stash in deeper leagues, especially because he was playing well before the injury.
Nov 17 - 3:51 PM

Larry Nance Jr. (hand) has been cleared to return to practice.

This is awesome news after his Nov. 2 fracture to his hand. Coach Luke Walton said he's surprised how far along Nance is, so there's a small chance he could slightly beat his 4-6 week timetable. Nance was taking shots on Wednesday with a small brace, so he is almost there. It'll be really interesting to see how Kyle Kuzma fits in here, and Nance has played some center in his time. Nance is a low-end stash for now and Kuzma owners shouldn't worry too much.
Nov 17 - 3:10 PM

Gary Harris (right shoulder soreness) will play Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Harris missed two straight games, but practiced in full on Wednesday and has been trending in the right direction since. Harris has yet to take the step forward that many predicted he would coming into this season but we'll see if bounces back following this short respite. Will Barton, Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay will see their minutes scaled back with Harris returning to the lineup.
Nov 17 - 1:31 PM

The Grizzlies have announced that Mike Conley (Achilles) will miss at least two more weeks.

Here's the full statement from the team: "Conley will undergo therapy and treatment to help promote healing and alleviate soreness in his left heel and Achilles following consultations with physicians. There is no timetable for his return at this time. Further updates will be provided in approximately two weeks." Mario Chalmers is expected to remain the starter while Conley is sidelined. Chalmers is averaging 11.0 points and 6.0 assists in 27.4 over Memphis' last two games. Tyreke Evans will continue to log heavy minutes off the bench as well.
Nov 17 - 1:21 PM

Serge Ibaka (swollen left knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks.

Ibaka missed one game earlier this season due to swelling his right knee, but this is the first time he's popped up on the injury report for an issue with his left knee. Pascal Siakam started in place of Ibaka that one game Serge missed. Norman Powell (hip) is doubtful, and Delon Wright (shoulder) has been ruled out for Friday, so the Raps will really have to shake up their lineup if Ibaka is unable to play. Siakam, OG Anunoby, and C.J. Miles would all see additional minutes.
Nov 17 - 12:26 PM

Steven Adams (calf) will play Friday night vs. San Antonio.

Adams had missed three straight games. Coach Billy Donovan said that Adams will not have a specific minutes limit, but that Adams' playing time would be dependant upon how he felt during the game. With Adams back in the mix, Dakari Johnson will get bumped to the bench, and Jerami Grant will see his minutes reduced as well.
Nov 17 - 12:06 PM

Ricky Rubio (Achilles soreness) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Rubio has been struggling all season, so here's hoping that resting his Achilles may help. Raul Neto and Donovan Mitchell will see an uptick in minutes with Rubio sidelined. Over the 97 minutes Mitchell has logged over his last three games, 32 of those minutes came at point guard. Mitchell is an intriguing DFS option for Friday, especially considering Utah is playing the fast-paced Nets. The Jazz has also recalled Nate Wolters from the G-League. He will be active on Friday and will serve as Utah's third-string PG.

James Harden went berserk during a 142-116 win over the Suns on Thursday, making 12-of-22 from the field for 48 points with two rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block, five turnovers and six 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

The Rockets became the first team since 1991 to score 90 points in a half with 45 points in the first and second quarters. Harden also made all 18 from the line tonight and all 19 on Tuesday, which helped him get to 43 consecutive free throws and counting. Those free throws are part of the reason why he's scored 40.2 points per game over his last six on a ridiculous 68.8 TS% and a 39.0 usage rate. He did actually bang knees with Josh Jackson with nine minutes left in the second quarter tonight, but he stayed in the game and it clearly didn't affect him in a negative way. Yeah, Chris Paul could hurt him slightly, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Harden finish the year as fantasy's top player.
Nov 17 - 1:35 AM

Greg Monroe scored 20 points in his Suns debut on Thursday, adding 11 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block in 26 minutes during a blowout loss to the Rockets.

The Rockets went right at him early in the game and it's part of the reason the Suns were out of it early. The Suns are almost certainly going to be trading him or buying him out at some point because of his expiring contract and maybe this will help them move that along faster than expected. His long-term upside doesn't sound great, but the Suns really don't have much direction. If you want to pick him up to use him before he's dealt and you need a big man, it's not a bad idea.
Nov 17 - 1:04 AM

Chris Paul returned to action against the Suns on Thursday, scoring 11 points with four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

The Rockets were just ridiculous while CP3 was out there with a +14 in those 21 minutes, but it was more about shot making from deep than anything else. Paul did leave the arena in the fourth to do cardio with the training staff, and he told TNT's Kristen Ledlow he felt great. Coach Mike D'Antoni has said he wants to stagger Paul from Harden and that'll be when CP3 does his best work, but clearly there's enough to go around in this offense. After almost a month off, Paul's fantasy owners should start to see some dividends.
Nov 17 - 12:45 AM

Al Horford scored 18 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and five turnover during a 92-88 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

He was the best Celtic in this game and helped keep the Warriors to their lowest score since Kevin Durant joined forces with Stephen Curry and company. The Celtics went on a 19-4 run to close out the third to help them tie the game up heading into the fourth quarter. After their 0-2 start, the Celtics have their longest winning streak since 2010 and already have a three-game cushion for the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Horford is locked and loaded as an early-round player at a premium position.
