Lamar Odom has checked himself into an alcohol and drug rehab center, according to People Magazine.

Hopefully this is a sign that Odom's life is about to get turned back around in the right direction. This surely won't be the last non-basketball related update on Odom, but it's good to hear that he's finally getting some help after his recent DUI arrest and extremely serious rumors of heavy drug use.

Chris Paul made 8-of-11 from the field for 23 points during an easy 125-95 win over the Nuggets on Wednesday, adding two rebounds, 12 assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

He did play in the fourth quarter because the Rockets did want him to get to 28 minutes. There seems to be a pretty clear plan here on CP3 with 21 minutes on Thursday, 24 on Saturday and 28 today. In the last three games, CP3 has logged 47 minutes next to James Harden, and he's actually dominated with per-36 averages of 21.6 points, 5.4 boards, 10.1 dimes, 3.1 steals and 3.1 treys -- his numbers are even better without Harden over 26 minutes. The Rockets are a fantasy factor and both guys should be elite fantasy assets.

Greg Monroe had a nice revenge game vs. the Bucks on Wednesday, setting season-highs in points (22) and rebounds (15) with one assist and one block in 32 minutes.

Tyson Chandler (illness) returned to the starting lineup, but in a surprising move for a rebuilding team, the Suns deployed Monroe as the backup center over Alex Len (DNP-CD) — there’s a chance the Suns played him over Len to get some revenge on his former team as well. The Suns have been showcasing Monroe for a trade, but if they can’t salvage what little trade value he has, he’ll likely be bought out at some point. In the meantime, look at Monroe as a short-term source of points and rebounds as long as he stays ahead of Len.

Alex Len picked up a DNP-CD in Wednesday's 113-107 overtime loss to the Bucks.

Tyson Chandler (illness) was back in action and started, but the Suns deployed Greg Monroe as his backup over Len. That won’t always be the case because the Suns are showcasing both Chandler and Monroe for a potential trade, and the veterans are buyout candidates as well. Until this situation improves, Len may have just been demoted to a stash in fantasy leagues.

Taj Gibson roared back on Wednesday with 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block, making 8-of-11 FGs and 8-of-10 FTs in 40 minutes.

Minnesota snapped their two-game losing streak and Gibson was a big reason why -- it was the polar opposite of his listless, one-point dud vs. Charlotte on Monday. He continues to dominate frontcourt minutes as a starter, reducing Gorgui Dieng (one point, three boards in 12 minutes) to an afterthought. As long as that's the case, Taj should be a solid top-100 roto player.

Elfrid Payton dished out a season-high 13 assists during Wednesday's loss to the Wolves, adding 10 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block.

Before the game, coach Frank Vogel said he's considered a lineup change but wants to give his team more time to return to full strength. "Staying the course right now," he said. "We're trying to keep guys in their roles while we try to achieve [full strength]." This was a big step for Payton, who hadn't played more than 31 minutes since returning from injury, and it looks safe to deploy him everywhere.

Russell Westbrook powered the Thunder to an impressive win on Wednesday, scoring 34 points with 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steals in 37 minutes vs. Golden State.

Westbrook started the game in alpha-dog mode and didn't let up, finishing 13-of-27 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line, with one 3-pointer. The scoring was a season-high, and it resulted in OKC's first win vs. Kevin Durant since he left to join the Warriors two summers ago. Westbrook's owners should hope he continues to assert himself more often offensively, but either way we expect a big game vs. the Pistons' defense on Friday.

Dion Waiters helped the Heat defeat the streaking Celtics on Wednesday with 26 points on 11-of-24 shooting, four 3-pointers, six assists and two rebounds.

Waiters went scoreless on 0-of-10 shooting on Sunday, so he was due for a makeup game offensively. He committed just one turnover in 36 minutes tonight, and even knocked down a series of clutch jumpers to fend off a late run by Boston. Despite the heroics tonight, Waiters is still outside the top-150 in category-based leagues.
Nov 22 - 11:12 PM

The Celtics' 16-game win streak came to an end in Miami on Wednesday, despite Kyrie Irving's team-high 23 points, three assists and three steals.

Irving made 11-of-22 field goals but missed his 3-point attempts and was an uncharacteristic 1-of-4 at the free throw line. Boston was out-rebounded (48-37) and they gave up 52 points in the paint, and their patented late-game rally came up short tonight. This doesn't impact Kyrie's solid fantasy outing, of course, and Boston will look to start a new win streak vs. Orlando on Friday.

Blake Griffin posted his first triple-double of the season to snap a nine-game losing streak in a 116-103 win over the Hawks on Wednesday, scoring 26 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.

Finally. The Clippers have been destroyed this month with only one November win before today and Griffin's stats have been a letdown. In his previous November games, he averaged just 22.3 points, 7.4 boards, 4.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 treys on 38.2 percent from the field. Before his owners get too excited, this did come against the Hawks and rookie John Collins. Griffin's fantasy owners should be rooting for wins this year to give him more incentive to play late in the season.
Nov 22 - 10:49 PM

Jeremy Lamb started the second half of Wednesday's game for Nic Batum (elbow), posting 24 points (9-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs) with seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three 3-pointers.

Lamb worked over Kelly Oubre on offense, and he would be in line for big minutes if Batum misses any games. Batum exited tonight's game with a 'contusion', but it's the same elbow he tore a ligament in this summer, so Charlotte will be extra cautious here. It makes sense to add Lamb while we await an update from the Hornets.
Nov 22 - 10:43 PM

Lou Williams made his first start of the season for 20 points with one rebound, eight assists, one steal, six turnovers and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Hawks on Wednesday.

He and DeAndre Jordan have shown a good rapport together and maybe that's why Williams moved into the starting lineup. Even if coach Doc Rivers does play the matchups with Lou as a starter, he's now looking at minutes in the low 30s and he should be asked to score the ball a bunch on a team that lacks perimeter scoring. The move to the starting lineup could also help his dimes with a season high tonight. His fantasy owners can expect him to flirt with top-50 value now that Patrick Beverley (knee) is out for the season.
