Pelicans forward Darius Miller will miss 8-12 weeks due to a stress fracture in his left foot.

It's unclear how he hurt himself, but Miller has already had the injury surgically repaired. This makes it unlikely that he'll be ready for opening night, which shifts a few extra minutes to guys like Al-Farouq Aminu, Tyreke Evans, Anthony Morrow and Lance Thomas.

Kelly Oubre scored a season-high 19 points against the Bucks on Saturday, adding nine rebounds, one assist, three steals and three 3-pointers.

Coach Scott Brooks has talked about playing Oubre next to Otto Porter and it worked extremely well tonight. That combo actually closed this game out and it almost certainly will be used more often. He's seen his playing time increase in each of his last four, so this is a very noteworthy trend. Oubre is on the radar as a pickup in 14-team leagues or competitive standard leagues. Obviously don't expect a line this good.

C.J. McCollum lit up the Pacers for 34 points on 12-of-22 shooting in Saturday's 118-111 loss.

He had 19 points in the third quarter alone, finishing with four rebounds, four assists, three blocks and three turnovers in 37 minutes. He's now scored 20+ points in four straight games which matches a career best, and he's also hit 4+ triples in each of those games which is a career high. He's returning second-round value in standard leagues and isn't slowing down.
Dec 10 - 9:58 PM

Thaddeus Young broke out of his slump on Saturday vs. the Blazers, scoring 24 points with six 3-pointers, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in 40 minutes.

Not bad for a guy who hit seven total triples last season. Young and Paul George sparked a comeback for the Pacers and helped them overcome a 20-point deficit. Young shot 9-of-13 from the field with a few turnovers, but it looks like he wasn't lying when he said he spent the offseason working on his outside shot -- he's now hit 25 triples though 24 games. He was only averaging 9.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in his previous five, so maybe this outburst will get him going.
Dec 10 - 9:52 PM

Paul George went off for 37 points on 13-of-27 shooting in Saturday's 118-111 win over the Blazers on Saturday.

He played 36 minutes Saturday despite logging 40 minutes the previous night, adding five rebounds, three assists, three steals and five triples with a pair of turnovers. He also hit 6-of-7 free throws on the night. The Pacers have been inconsistent, but George hasn't, scoring 21+ point in each of his last four games. On a side note, the Pacers became just the second team to overcome a 20-point deficit this season.
Dec 10 - 9:39 PM

Dante Exum will start over Shelvin Mack on Saturday against the Kings.

The ol' late switch from the Jazz. This doesn't change much for Exum or Mack with their fantasy value.
Dec 10 - 9:12 PM

Anthony Davis (rest) has been ruled out for Saturday night against the Clippers.

Wow. The Pelicans are on the front end of a back-to-back set and coach Alvin Gentry said Davis could use a night off. This is a death blow to anyone who used him in DFS tonight without any heads up of this move coming. Davis will be all set for Sunday in Phoenix. Terrence Jones will be busy tonight.
Dec 10 - 9:10 PM

Jrue Holiday (toe) and E'Twaun Moore (toe) will not play vs. the Clippers on Saturday.

Tim Frazier and Buddy Hield will start in the backcourt, but Langston Galloway will see minutes at both guard spots off the bench and has been the better play for the past two games. Holiday and Moore are both day-to-day, and their next chance to play will be on Sunday vs. the Suns, though that seems unlikely at this point.
Dec 10 - 9:09 PM

Austin Rivers will start against the Pelicans on Saturday.

With Blake Griffin (knee) out, Luc Mbah a Moute will likely slide to the four to accommodate Rivers. Griffin will be back for Monday's game vs. Portland, so leaving Rivers on the wire is the right call. With that said, he could have a "revenge game" tonight.
Dec 10 - 8:57 PM

Blake Griffin (sore right knee) will not play on Saturday vs. the Pelicans.

It sounds like the Clippers are resting him, because coach Doc Rivers confirmed that he will be back in the lineup on Monday vs. Portland. DeAndre Jordan should be a monster on Saturday, while Paul Pierce and Mo Speights should get a bump as well.
Dec 10 - 8:52 PM

Glenn Robinson III started the second half of Saturday's game vs. Portland in place of Monta Ellis (groin).

Ellis was ruled out for the rest of the game with a sore groin. GR3 has been quiet since Paul George and C.J. Miles returned, but he's worth keeping an eye on in case Ellis misses time. Put him on your radar.
Dec 10 - 8:25 PM

Monta Ellis is dealing with a sore groin and will not play in the second half on Saturday.

Maybe this is why he put up a goose egg on Friday? Whatever the case, Ellis hasn't looked right at all lately, so he may miss time. Although, it's just soreness. C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey should get a bump in playing time while Glenn Robinson III should be in the rotation. Ellis finished with 10 points and five assists in 19 minutes.
