Lakers draft pick Ryan Kelly (foot surgery) is running at 75 percent of his body weight on a treadmill.

Trainer Gary Vitti said Kelly is "completely asymptomatic," so his rehab is progressing well, but even at full health he'll need an impressive training camp to make the Lakers' roster. His contract is fully unguaranteed.

Paul George (leg) was noncommittal when asked about when he'd be able to return to the court this season.

"I didn't set any deadline," said George. "I said I was hopeful after two weeks of working out that I'd be in game-playing shape, but there's still no deadline." When asked if he felt he was halfway there, George simply responded: "I think I'm coming along." He also added that while he's been on the practice court, he has not experienced any pain that would hold him back from doing what he needs to do, and we'll continue to track his progress closely. While George isn't a must-stash guy with no official return date on the calendar, his upside is certainly significant.

Nick Young (knee) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Memphis.

Young has said that he's targeting a return for Sunday's matchup against the Mavericks, so we'll be considering him on the doubtful side of the questionable tag for Friday's game. When he is able to return to the lineup, Jeremy Lin's value could take a hit.
Mar 5 - 4:09 PM

Updating a previous report, Tyson Chandler (hip) will play Friday vs. the Trail Blazers.

Chandler has been sidelined for the past two games, but he'll return to the starting lineup tonight for what should be an exciting uptempo game against Portland. Bernard James will head back to the bench with this news, and his demotion to the second unit will make him a non-factor in nearly all leagues. Get Tyson active.
Mar 5 - 3:54 PM

Avery Bradley (left elbow sprain) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Bradley isn't even traveling with the team right now, so we're going to have to consider him questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Magic as well. With Bradley sidelined, Evan Turner, Jae Crowder, and Isaiah Thomas will all have the opportunity to see extended minutes, with Thomas offering the most upside as the guy who will likely be asked to carry a heavier load on offense.
Mar 5 - 3:10 PM

Chandler Parsons (ankle) will remain sidelined for at least two more games.

That means Parsons will be unavailable for Thursday's game vs. the Trail Blazers, as well as Friday's matchup with the Warriors. He did however say that he is hopeful to suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers, so we'll be considering him questionable for that one. With Parsons sidelined, Richard Jefferson will continue to start with Al-Farouq Aminu seeing extended minutes off the bench.
Mar 5 - 2:55 PM

Tyson Chandler (hip) went through shootaround this morning, and he remains probable for Thursday's game vs. Portland.

Head coach Rick Carlisle said "it's looking good," for Chandler suiting up for tonight's game, a move that will send Bernard James back to the bench and to irrelevancy in most leagues. Go ahead and get Chandler in your active lineups.
Mar 5 - 2:46 PM

Updating a previous report, JaVale McGee will not be heading to Boston.

The two sides apparently couldn't come to an agreement on the terms of McGee's contract, so he will seek employment elsewhere. McGee is averaging a meager 4.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 blocks on the season, and unless your league awards points for appearances on Shaqtin' a Fool, McGee belongs on the waiver wire.
Mar 5 - 2:21 PM

Kyle Lowry (rest) said he's making progress and is close to a return.

The Raptors didn't practice on Thursday, but this is good news for Lowry's fantasy owners. Lowry will accompany the team on their three-game road trip so we'll consider him questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets. Greivis Vasquez would again be a solid plug-and-play option if Lowry is unable to suit up against Charlotte.
Mar 5 - 12:59 PM

Patrick Beverley (right foot sprain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

Beverley just can't catch a break this season as he's become a mainstay on the injury report. We'll keep an eye on his status after Friday's shootaround, but Jason Terry, Pablo Prigioni, and Corey Brewer would all be in line for more minutes (albeit with limited fantasy value) is Beverley is unable to play on Friday.
Mar 5 - 12:45 PM

Terrence Jones (lower back pain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

Jones has been on fire as of late, so his owners will have to watch his status closely leading up to Friday's game. If he's unable to suit up, Josh Smith and Donatas Motiejunas would be in line for big minutes against the Pistons.
Mar 5 - 12:41 PM

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose (knee) is still in the initial phases of his rehab process.

Thibodeau added that Rose has been riding a stationary bike, but it doesn't sound like he'll be traveling with the team to Indianapolis or San Antonio. Rose is planning on returning this season, but it's unlikely he'll return in time to make enough a dent in fantasy leagues and can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
