Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade had a Twitter battle on Tuesday night, based on whether Wade or James Harden should be in SI's Top 10 NBA player list.

It started when Durant suggested Harden, and not Wade, should be in their Top 10. "I think you're missing James Harden," Durant said, then saying that he'd take Wade off the list. Wade responded with a picture of a handwritten note: "Kevin Durant said James Harden should replace me in the Top 10...Note to self* Make him respect your place in history." Durant then said on Twitter: "Show me don't tweet me..." Hopefully this isn't a prequel to a contrived Gatorade ad campaign, but either way, it makes for some nice preseason fodder, and we're with Durant on this one. Wade and Durant will meet for the first time on Jan. 29.

Draymond Green (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday and is not expected to play on Thursday, according to coach Steve Kerr.

This shoulder injury has been lingering for Green as he's missed last Wednesday, played 38 minutes on Friday, and did't play against the Blazers on Monday. The Warriors are not putting much stock into their regular season, so it's possible Green misses more games. If that's the case, Jordan Bell should be set up for another start and is worth a speculative add in competitive leagues. Omri Casspi could also play more.
Dec 13 - 3:06 PM

Meyers Leonard (illness) is questionable against the Heat on Wednesday.

We don't have any details on his illness, so expect him to be a game-time call for the 7:30 EST start. Leonard played 19.0 minutes per game in the starts without Jusuf Nurkic (ankle), but coach Terry Stotts was running out Ed Davis, Zach Collins and Noah Vonleh as options at center, as well. If Leonard is out, Collins may have a chance to get minutes in the upper 20s while Davis could also see run closer to 20 minutes, as well.
Dec 13 - 2:30 PM

Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday against the Heat.

It's a little discouraging that Nurkic gets ruled out before game time, but the Blazers broadcast did say Nurkic went through a pre-game workout on Monday. He should have a decent chance to play against the Magic on Friday. Meyers Leonard (illness) is also questionable, so there could be a decent amount of Ed Davis and Zach Collins against Kelly Olynyk and company.
Dec 13 - 2:22 PM

Joe Johnson (wrist) will not play vs. Chicago on Wednesday.

He went through shootaround and his re-evaluation must not have been good enough to give him the green light tonight. With him out, that should mean Jonas Jerebko (illness) will be in the rotation again while this should also help Alec Burks keep his minutes in the 20s even with Rodney Hood back.
Dec 13 - 2:17 PM

Lauri Markkanen (back) will play Wednesday vs. the Jazz.

Markkanen will be returning from a one-game stint on the sidelines, which should shift Nikola Mirotic back to the second unit where he'll fight for the reserve minutes with Bobby Portis. Markkanen is safe to fire up in all season-long settings, but with a tough matchup against Utah, he's not the most attractive target in daily leagues.
Dec 13 - 1:16 PM

Nicolas Batum (elbow) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Batum was being listed as doubtful on Tuesday and said on Sunday that his elbow was "not even close to 100 percent," but apparently he's willing to fight through the pain. We likely won't get official word on his status until just prior to tip-off, but if he is able to play tonight, Jeremy Lamb will head back to the bench and Dwayne Bacon could drop from the rotation entirely. Stay tuned.
Dec 13 - 12:43 PM

Anthony Davis (left adductor) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with the Bucks.

Davis said he was feeling good after shootaround, and that he "should be able to go" against Milwaukee barring a setback, but ultimately this decision will be made by Alvin Gentry and the Pelicans' medical staff. AD will need to go through his pregame routine before an official decision is made, but if he is able to get back out there, Darius Miller will return to the bench, and DeMarcus Cousins won't be quite as active on offense.
Dec 13 - 12:37 PM

Andre Roberson (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in Indiana.

Billy Donovan hasn't yet announced who will start in his place, but Alex Abrines has been starting over the past three games with Paul George and Roberson missing time, so it could be him again. However, the Thunder lost on Monday with Abrines at the two, so perhaps Donovan wants to switch things up. Either way, with Carmelo Anthony, PG-13 and Russell Westbrook all active, there won't be much opportunity for the fill-in starter.
Dec 13 - 12:30 PM

Will Barton (lower back contusion) is probable to play Wednesday in Boston.

Barton exited Tuesday's blowout win over the Pistons during the closing minutes of the fourth quarter with the back issue, but it looks like that was just a precautionary move by Denver. Season-long owners can probably plan on having him available tonight, but just be sure to check back closer to tip-off for official confirmation on his status.
Dec 13 - 12:15 PM

Nikola Jokic (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Head coach Mike Malone indicated on Tuesday that Jokic was "getting closer," and he was moving around fairly well during Tuesday's shootaround, so perhaps he'll be able to get back out there tonight. We likely won't get official word on his status until after he goes through his pregame routine, but if Jokic is able to get back out there, Mason Plumlee will return to the bench and Kenneth Faried's minutes will take a hit. Stay tuned.
Dec 13 - 12:14 PM

Joe Johnson (wrist) participated during shootaround and will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's matchup with the Bulls.

The Jazz are reportedly expecting Johnson to get back to the court this week, and with him getting through shootaround, it seems there's a good chance he'll be returning from his two-month layoff tonight. With Rodney Hood (ankle) and Johnson getting healthy, Alec Burks' minutes could start trending towards the lower-20s.
