Mike Woodson made no guarantees for Amare Stoudemire's availability for the season opener.

Woodson said Stoudemire is day-to-day and that's a distinction that Stoudemire figures to have quite a bit. The Knicks have been very secretive with STAT and the recently discovered surgery over the offseason doesn't have any sort of positive spin. Stoudemire is far too risky to take in standard drafts and Andrea Bargnani would benefit should the Knicks be without their max-deal man.

Kris Dunn (concussion) still has headaches and dizziness, and will not play Saturday against the Hawks or against the Pelicans on Monday.

That's not good and getting ruled out two days in advance could mean he misses even more time. The Bulls are also on the road to play the 76ers on Wednesday, so Dunn's fantasy owners should consider him doubtful for that game. Jerian Grant will get at least a couple starts and could be worth a look based on his volume. Expect to see more minutes going to Denzel Valentine to help handle the ball, and Ryan Arcidiacono could be the backup PG.

Nikola Vucevic (hand) did some on-court work on Saturday.

The video below showed him doing layups with both hands, so this is a big step in his rehab. Earlier this week, he had a huge cast on his left hand from his surgery back on Dec. 26. He was expected to be out for 6-8 weeks, so the All-Star break seems like a reasonable target. His return would destroy the fantasy value of Bismack Biyombo, who has been a revelation this month.
Jan 20 - 3:10 PM

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is questionable against the Knicks on Sunday.

After being called a game-time decision at shootaround on Friday, he was ruled out about two hours before tip against the Pacers. Ingram did suffer an aggravation to his ankle injury, but his tweak on Wednesday didn't look as bad. Expect him to be a game-time call and going through shootaround could help his chances -- he didn't go through shootaround on Friday and did some work in practice today. If he's out, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Julius Randle and basically the rest of the rotation could take more shots.
Jan 20 - 3:06 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles) is questionable against the Knicks on Sunday.

The team ruled him out a day in advance for Friday's game, so there's a decent chance he's a game-time call tomorrow. Plus, he went through some activities at practice on Saturday. Caldwell-Pope's injury doesn't sound serious, but it's worth a mention that his Achilles has bothered him in his career before this issue. If he's out, Josh Hart and Corey Brewer figure to pick up more wing minutes.
Jan 20 - 3:03 PM

Lonzo Ball (knee) did not practice on Saturday and has been ruled out for Sunday against the Knicks.

It doesn't sound like he's close and the Lakers will wait for him to go through a full practice before he's back out there. The Lakers next game is Tuesday against the Celtics, so his fantasy owners should consider him between questionable and doubtful for that game. With him out, it's been Alex Caruso stepping up the most at the point while Tyler Ennis starts. Josh Hart could also benefit if other starters are out.
Jan 20 - 3:00 PM

Rodney Hood (leg) is questionable against the Clippers on Saturday.

He suffered a lower leg contusion on Friday night and he did not close out the game with Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles seeing the clutch minutes. Hood does find himself on the injury report a lot, so it's possible the Jazz hold him out. If so, Ingle and Johnson figure to benefit the most.
Jan 20 - 2:37 PM

J.J. Barea (groin) will play against the Blazers on Saturday.

He did only miss one game from this slight groin injury. Although, Barea's groin strains have been a major problem for him in his career, so the Mavs are probably going to be careful with him. His return should take some playing time away from Yogi Ferrell, Devin Harris and maybe a heating-up Dennis Smith Jr.
Jan 20 - 2:16 PM

Andre Iguodala (calf) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. Houston.

Iguodala has been battling a myriad of nagging injuries this season. This will be the second straight games he has missed due to the calf issue and the seventh contest he has been sidelined for in 2017-18. Omri Casspi and Nick Young will likely soak up additional minutes on Saturday, but neither are reliable streaming or DFS options.
Jan 20 - 1:55 PM

Mario Chalmers (shoulder), Andrew Harrison (shoulder) and Ben McLemore (knee soreness) are listed as questionable on the injury report for Saturday's game vs. New Orleans.

McLemore shockingly erupted for 21 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three triples in 27 minutes on Friday but apparently is now dealing with soreness in his knee. With Chandler Parsons (illness, knee) and James Ennis III (calf) already ruled out, the Grizz may be very shorthanded on Saturday. Tyreke Evans, Wayne Selden and Dillon Brooks will likely log all the minutes they can handle.
Jan 20 - 1:48 PM

Kyrie Irving (sore left shoulder) practiced on Saturday and coach Brad Stevens said he "looked good."

Irving scored 27 points in 41 minutes on Tuesday but was unable to play Wednesday. Fortunately, an MRI on the shoulder came back clean on Thursday and Stevens told reporters he didn't believe the injury would be a "long-term issue." We should have an update on Irving's status for Boston's Sunday matinee vs. Orlando shortly. With Irving sidelined on Wednesday, Marcus Smart drew the start and Terry Rozier and Shane Larkin saw an uptick in minutes off the bench.
Jan 20 - 1:16 PM

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will replace Jerryd Bayless (sore left wrist) in the Sixers starting lineup on Saturday vs. Milwaukee.

It is somewhat surprising that Sixers are starting TLC instead of T.J. McConnell. It likely has to do with the defensive assignment of guarding Milwaukee's Eric Bledsoe. However, both Luwawu-Cabarrot and McConnell will be asked to log heavy minutes, as Philly is without Bayless, J.J. Redick (leg), and Markelle Fultz (shoulder). Luwawu-Cabarrot has started one game previously this season. He finished with four points, one rebound and one assist over 23 minutes in that start.
