Royce White is not with the team for its preseason trip to Europe.

The team said they are giving White "a pass." He said his fear of flying was not the reason he sat out his entire rookie year, but not flying to Europe with the team does raise some concerns. To be clear, no official reason has been given on why the 22-year-old forward isn't making the trip. The Sixers preseason starts in Spain on Sunday.

Devin Booker had it going again during a 108-100 win over the Nuggets on Friday, scoring 30 points with five rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

This being his 35th 30-point game of his career is no surprise, but Booker's improvement this year has been how he's does so much more than score. This was seventh 30-5-5 stat line on the year and he's been more consistent in efficiency and steals. Booker has also been a superstar scorer on the road this season, posting a 31.8 usage rate and a 60.6 TS%. He has arrived.

T.J. Warren returned against the Nuggets on Friday, scoring 25 points with three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block in 34 minutes.

He looked great on both ends of the floor, so the Suns were likely careful with his back injury. The Suns are also very successful when Warren goes off with a 10-1 record in the 11 games he's scored at least 25. He's been on fire over his last seven active games with 23.9 points per outing thanks to making 36-of-48 (75 percent) at the rim over that span. They don't call him Tony Buckets for nothing.
Jan 20 - 12:19 AM

Jamal Murray scored 30 points with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and five 3-pointers during a 108-100 loss to the Suns on Friday.

He made 10-of-17 from the field with two emphatic jams in the third and also hit all five free throws. Murray did also foul out for the first time in his NBA career due to T.J. Warren getting some favorable calls. The second-year guard has been extremely durable in his NBA career and missed his first game due to a concussion, but getting back out there is another positive for Murray in his breakout campaign. He should flirt with early-round value going forward.
Jan 20 - 12:00 AM

DeMarre Carroll matched his career-high 26 points during a 101-95 win over the Heat on Friday, adding six rebounds, one assist, one block, two steals and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

It's his fifth 20-point game of the season and he's also scored in double figures for six straight. Carroll did have a mild tweak to his right knee, but he obviously looked fine. He also closed as the power forward in this game, which will be important for him because of D'Angelo Russell getting in the mix to take wing minutes away. The needle doesn't move too much on Carroll here because DAR's return may hurt his playing time, so he's more of a hold than anything else.
Jan 19 - 11:32 PM

Ish Smith posted 15 points and seven assists over 35 minutes in Friday's 122-112 loss against the Wizards.

Smith bounced back nicely with a solid 7-of-11 shooting night after turning in an ugly 1-of-12 performance on Wednesday in Toronto. There's something about the home cooking that he likes, as Smith is 39-of-73 (53.4 percent) from the floor over his past six home contests, and 23-of-62 (37.1 percent) from the field across his past six on the road. The good news for Smith's fantasy owners and DFS players is that this was the first game of a four-game homestand through Jan. 27, and nine of his next 10 are at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, too.
Jan 19 - 11:32 PM

Ben McLemore came out of nowhere to score 21 points against the Kings on Friday, hitting 6-of-13 shots and 6-of-6 free throws.

Talk about a revenge game. McLemore was a DNP-CD in his previous two games and played a total of 15 minutes in January prior to tonight, but the Grizzlies let him have some fun against his former team. He added two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three triples in 27 minutes, and while he gave the coaching staff something to think about, fantasy owners can ignore him unless he earns a permanent spot in the rotation.
Jan 19 - 10:56 PM

Hassan Whiteside scored 22 points with 13 rebounds, two assists and four blocks in 33 minutes against the Nets during a 101-95 loss on Friday.

The Nets went small a bunch in this game and even threw some triple teams at Whiteside. They also attacked him a lot with their guards getting in the lane to help Whiteside get all those swats. He's looked like he's back to being in tip-top shape, so his fantasy owners should have tons of confidence in plugging him into their lineups.
Jan 19 - 10:51 PM

Corey Brewer, Kyle Kuzma, Julius Randle, Josh Hart and Tyler Ennis will start against the Pacers on Friday.

The Lakers are missing a lot of bodies here and they'll go small against the Pacers. Randle is also playing with a finger fracture.
Jan 19 - 10:26 PM

Kyle Lowry led the Raptors to an 86-83 win over the Spurs on Friday with 24 points on 8-of-16 shots.

That's more like it. Lowry hit just 8-of-30 shots in his previous two games since returning from his back injury, but he looked more like himself tonight. He added three rebounds, three assists, one block, one steal and four triples, helping the Raptors snap their four-game losing streak against the Spurs. He did play 35 minutes tonight, so we'll see how his back responds on the second night of a back-to-back set vs. the Wolves.
Jan 19 - 10:15 PM

Serge Ibaka was invisible in Friday's win over the Spurs, scoring just four points (2-of-7 FGs) with seven rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes.

Ibaka usually guards the opponent's best frontcourt player, but coach Dwane Casey switched Jonas Valanciunas onto LaMarcus Aldridge pretty early into this game because Ibaka wasn't giving the Raptors anything. You have to wonder if his knee is acting up again, as he hasn't blocked a shot in four straight games and is shooting 35.1% from the field in that span. After a strong December, his value is trending down in a hurry.
Jan 19 - 9:55 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 17 points in Friday's 86-83 loss to the Raptors, hitting just 6-of-25 shots and 4-of-5 free throws.

The Raptors switched Jonas Valanciunas onto LMA early into the game and the move paid dividends for Toronto. Pau Gasol said that Aldridge is going to be the "focal point" of the offense going forward with Kawhi Leonard (quad) out indefinitely, but we'll chalk this up as a rare off night for the big man. The good news is that he salvaged his fantasy line in other categories, racking up 14 rebounds with two assists, one steal, two blocks and one triple in 37 minutes.
