Victor Oladipo hit just 3-of-12 shots for nine points, three rebounds, three assists, one block and zero steals in Wednesday's loss to the Rockets.

He didn't appear to have his legs under him tonight, as the preseason is possibly wearing him down a bit. Maybe this will slow down the Oladipo hype machine, but we still think he's going to return mid-round fantasy value. The good news is he wasn't afraid to shoot it, hoisting his 12 shots in just 20 minutes, and more of them should fall on most nights.

Michael Carter-Williams made 1-of-9 from the field for four points with six rebounds, eight assists, one block, one 3-pointer and three turnovers before fouling out in 27 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday.

His shooting is just awful and he's down to 34.4 percent on the season. At least he only attempted nine shots, which is a season low and way below his 16.1 per game. Carter-Williams is doing plenty in the other categories, but his misses and turnovers have destroyed his value in standard leagues. He's not showing any indication of getting better either.

The Blazers extended their league-best winning streak to nine games on Wednesday, aided by Wesley Matthews' season-high 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including six 3-pointers.

Matthews is averaging 2.4 triples per game despite shooting a career-low 34.4 percent beyond the arc. There's room for improvement, in other words, but he's still been a reliable top-75 fantasy value through Portland's first 15 games.
Nov 26 - 9:38 PM

Brian Roberts came off the Hornets' bench for a career-high 24 points in a loss to the Blazers on Wednesday, making 10-of-17 FGs with three 3-pointers, four rebounds and four assists in just 32 minutes of action.

Gary Neal was out with a shoulder injury so Roberts got extra playing time, and he made the most of the opportunity. This is just his fourth double-digit scoring game of the season and he's only worth a look in daily leagues while Neal is day-to-day.
Nov 26 - 9:37 PM

Lance Stephenson rode the Hornets bench in the fourth quarter again on Wednesday, finishing with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in just 23 minutes.

Hornets coach Steve Clifford said before the game that rebounding was the key to beating the Blazers, which makes Stephenson's late-game absence even more perplexing -- he's the Hornets' leading rebounder at 8.2 per game. Stephenson's fantasy owners can only be patient and hope that he earns Clifford's trust sooner rather than later.
Nov 26 - 9:36 PM

Kemba Walker shook off a hard collision to finish Wednesday's home loss with 15 points (6-of-19 FGs), one 3-pointer, four rebounds, nine assists and one block.

He took a knee to the thigh and was also elbowed in the face, but the Hornets' training staff quickly cleared him to return. We'll keep an eye out for any lingering problems but fantasy owners should expect to have Walker available vs. Stephen Curry and the Warriors on Friday.
Nov 26 - 9:34 PM

Al Jefferson had 21 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and two blocks vs. Portland on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough to prevent Charlotte's seventh straight loss.

Big Al also logged 35 minutes without any turnovers and he's doing everything he can to get his team a victory, but the Hornets have proven inept at both ends of the court -- they rank 25th in offensive efficiency and 23rd in defensive efficiency. Jefferson's fantasy value has taken a hit this year, due mainly to a dip in rebounds (the Lance Stephenson effect) and his struggles at the FT line (63.5 percent).
Nov 26 - 9:33 PM

Isaiah Thomas (bruised right ankle) will not play on Wednesday, as expected.

Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe will be rotated into the PG spot throughout the game, and coach Jeff Hornacek decided to activate Zoran Dragic as backcourt insurance. Thomas is day-to-day, so hopefully he'll recover in time for Friday's game in Denver.
Nov 26 - 8:48 PM

Kemba Walker went down on Wednesday after bruising his thigh and being elbowed in the face, but he is available to return.

Walker was down for a while and looked a bit 'woozy' as he made his way to the Hornets' bench, but it sounds like he avoided any serious injuries. With Gary Neal (shoulder) already unavailable, Walker's absence would have left Charlotte heavily reliant upon Brian Roberts.
Nov 26 - 8:30 PM

JaVale McGee (leg) will not play on Wednesday night.

He doesn't have a timetable to return, but the Nuggets have him listed as day-to-day. McGee doesn't have a fracture, but the fact that the Nuggets are being so careful doesn't bode well for his outlook on the season. He's a tough player to own in almost any league. Timofey Mozgov and Jusuf Nurkic should play more.
Nov 26 - 7:56 PM

Devin Harris will start at point guard against the Knicks on Wednesday.

He and J.J. Barea are likely going to split the point guard minutes right down the middle, but Harris' steals and treys do make him a slightly more attractive option. Barea is certainly a capable option as well. Jameer Nelson isn't expected to miss much time, so Harris doesn't gain too much value.
Nov 26 - 7:21 PM

Thaddeus Young is active against the Bucks on Wednesday.

The team is honoring his mother with pink shoelaces, which is pretty cool. Young will get a decent matchup tonight and we'd love to see him have a huge game. He's a strong play tonight and should be in most lineups.
