Coach Tom Thibodeau said Kirk Hinrich will be out a couple days after being diagnosed with a concussion.

Nicolas Batum just went through the NBA's concussion protocol and it took him a week. The NBA has a series test followed by a certain sequence of exercises before a player can suit up for contact. Hinrich could miss the start of the season, but it doesn't sound like his concussion is too serious.

Hassan Whiteside will reportedly meet with the Trail Blazers, Mavericks and Heat during free agency.

It sounds like the Lakers are out of the running, and the Blazers don't seem to have much of a shot either as Whiteside is reportedly focused on Dallas or Miami. The shot blocking dynamo's fantasy value will be safe regardless of where he winds up.

Joakim Noah is reportedly "99 percent sure" that he'll join the Knicks as an unrestricted free agent.

Noah will meet with the Knicks on Friday, but it seems all but certain the New York native will be returning home this summer. Noah is reportedly set to earn an annual salary in the $18 million range, although Phil Jackson is trying to convince him to sign something closer to $15-$16 million in order to keep their options open of bringing in another impactful player during free agency. Noah will be the starting center in New York, but his injury history will make him a risky mid-round gamble on draft day.

The Nets have officially waived Jarrett Jack.

It was the expected move for Brooklyn after they couldn't get anything for Jack on the trade market, and it'll be interesting to see if any teams claim him off the waiver wire. The most likely outcome will be Jack clearing waivers and then being free to sign with a team of his choosing. With Jack no longer on the roster, Caris LeVert and Isaiah Whitehead will get all the run they can handle, and both those guys are on the radar as potential late-round targets on draft day. Yogi Ferrell's odds of making the regular season roster have also improved significantly.
Jun 30 - 4:08 PM

Al Horford will reportedly meet with the Rockets on Friday.

With Dwight Howard likely moving on to greener pastures, Horford could work as his replacement, and he could see a nice boost in value playing in Mike D'Antoni's fantasy friendly system. The Lakers, Magic, Wizards, Nets, Warriors and Pistons will all be after the 30-year-old big man this summer.
Jun 30 - 3:10 PM

The Rockets reportedly will not be granted a meeting with unrestricted free agent Mike Conley.

It sounds like Houston is out of the running for Conley's services, and they will now shift their attention to getting a quality reserve to backup starter Patrick Beverley. The Grizzlies remain the front-runners to re-sign Conley, although they will have some serious competition from the Mavs.

Nicolas Batum is expected to meet with the Dallas Mavericks.

Batum has been thought to be headed back to Charlotte, but it looks like he'll do his due diligence as he hits unrestricted free agency on July 1. The Mavs have been linked to quite a few players thus far, so it would surprise if they don't make a splash with Batum or another big-name free agent. Batum put up mid-round fantasy numbers last season and could see a minor boost to those numbers in Dallas.

The Clippers are reportedly attempting to sell Kevin Durant on teaming up with Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and DeAndre Jordan.

The Clippers are set to meet with Durant on Friday and have invited all three players to their sit down with the superstar. While they'll have quite a bit of competition as Durant is set to meet with five other teams, the Clippers have a compelling case to present to the 27-year-old. It's worth noting that the Clips would have to renounce the rights to quite a few players in order to sign Durant, but that's a problem they'd be happy to have.

Chris Bosh (blood clots) is hoping to be ready for the start of training camp.

The Heat are planning to use Bosh as part of their free agent pitches starting on Friday as the big man is reportedly working towards being ready for the start training camp for the 2016-17 season. Bosh will be a risky fantasy pick after having his last two seasons cut short by blood clots, but he also has enough upside that he could be worth a flier if he falls enough in drafts.

Marc Stein of ESPN reports that Kent Bazemore may not meet with teams until after July 4.

This is interesting news seeing as free agency begins on July 1 and teams will want to lock in players so they can move onto other free agents, but Bazemore will have plenty of suitors and shouldn't miss out on any money if he takes this approach. The Nets, Grizzlies, Bucks, Knicks, and others are expected to pursue Bazemore, so it's likely we'll see him with an increased fantasy value on a new team next season.
Jun 30 - 11:38 AM

The Nets are interested in making a run at free agent Jeremy Lin, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.

The Hornets are hopeful that they'll be able to re-sign Lin, but Bonnell reports the Nets may "hard-sell" the 27-year-old. Lin was a solid bench option for the Hornets last season, but would see a boost in fantasy value if he lands on a Nets squad that appears ready to part ways with Jarrett Jack.
Jun 30 - 10:21 AM

The Grizzlies believe they can re-sign Mike Conley, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Conley will have plenty of interest as one of the better free agents on the market, but the Grizzlies think they can hold off aggressive pursuits by the Mavs, Rockets, Nets, Bulls, and others. Conley could see an uptick in fantasy value if he signs somewhere other than Memphis, but the Grizzlies can offer him the most money so it would be a surprise to see him sign elsewhere with this news.
