Derrick Rose played 27 minutes against the Bucks on Monday, shooting 6-of-10 from the field for 24 points with three boards, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

He's absolutely rolling on offense and this was his third game in a row shooting at least 60 percent from the floor. Rose and the Bulls are getting out and running and had 18 fast-break points tonight. He was also 10-of-11 from the charity stripe tonight and this was his fourth game in a row with double-digit attempts. Sure, he's only played in five games, but he looks like he's back.

Blake Griffin scored 31 points with 13 boards, five assists and one block in 35 minutes in a win over the Spurs on Saturday.

Griffin's rebounding hasn't been spectacular this season, as this was just the third time in January that he collected double digit rebounds in a game. Having said that, his owners have to be pleased with this line, as he was able to shoot 12-of-21 from the field and connect on all seven of his free throws. As long as Griffin continues to score efficiently, his owners won't be too concerned about his lack of rebounds and blocks.

Lorenzo Brown played 48 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday with six rebounds, nine assists and three turnovers.

He's just the second player since 1986 to play 48 minutes in a regulation game and score one or less points (Dennis Rodman). Brown had his one chance to do something tonight, but he'll be back to a reserve role with Ricky Rubio (ankle) coming back on Monday.

James Harden left Saturday's game with a sore knee, but returned to finish in a loss to Detroit with 26 points, seven rebounds, nine dimes, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers on 10-of-17 shooting.

He's got a bruised knee and it doesn't sound serious, but owners should watch for news on him. The Rockets might use caution with Harden now that it looks like Dwight Howard will be out a month with his own knee injury.
Feb 1 - 12:23 AM

Al Horford had another magnificent game during a 91-85 win over the 76ers on Saturday, making 10-of-16 from the field for 23 points with 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.

That's the Hawks 19th win in a row and they're already at 40 wins on the season. As for Horford, he has been ridiculous in his last 10 games, making 69.8 percent from the field for averages of 18.6 points, 8.4 boards, 5.1 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.8 steals. He's also made 84.6 percent from the line and is an absolute monster. He's been a top-five fantasy player in that span.
Feb 1 - 12:10 AM

Cody Zeller scored a career-high 21 points in a win over the Nuggets on Saturday while adding eight boards, three assists, three steals and two blocks in 32 minutes.

It was arguably the best offensive game of his career, as he was able to connect on 10 of his 11 shots from the field. Marvin Williams' (head) absence opened up some extra minutes tonight, but Zeller definitely made the most of his opportunity. If you're in need of a big, it's not a bad idea to take a flier on Zeller.
Feb 1 - 12:06 AM

Lance Stephenson handed out a career-high 13 assists in Saturday's win over the Nuggets, adding four points, five boards and two steals in 30 minutes.

He did shoot just 2-of-10 from the floor tonight, but it was great to see him willing to share the basketball with his teammates. Stephenson should see a larger role now that Kemba Walker (knee) is sidelined, so hopefully he can continue to build on this performance. Given his upside, Stephenson is worth a look in most leagues.

Dwight Howard is expected to be out for at least one month due to his ailing knee.

This is a devastating blow for Howard and his owners as there is no telling when we will see him back in action. Owners who are fighting to get into playoffs may be forced to cut ties with the star center, as the Rockets likely won't bring him back until his knee is 100 percent healthy. We will update Howard's status when we know more, but we would expect Donatas Motiejunas, Josh Smith and Terrence Jones to see a huge boost to their value following this news.

Monta Ellis carried the offense against the Magic during a 108-93 win on Saturday, scoring 25 points with two rebounds, 13 assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

The Mavericks are just better when he's running the offense. They were No. 1 in the NBA for offensive efficiency before Rajon Rondo (head) came to town, but they've lost that distinction lately. Ellis could put up some huge lines while Rondo is out, but he'll be a stud regardless.
Jan 31 - 10:55 PM

John Wall (migraines) said that he wasn't sure about his status for Monday's game against Charlotte after playing 45 minutes in Saturday's overtime loss to the Raptors.

Wall is laboring right now, and he is said to be dealing with a sore Achilles, two bum ankles, migraine headaches, and now a cold. Wall was still able to produce on Saturday, scoring 28 points with 12 assists, eight boards, one steal and one 3-pointer, but there's a good chance that he will pick up some rest sooner rather than later. We will update his status when we learn more, but expect Andre Miller, Bradley Beal and Garrett Temple to benefit if Wall misses any time.
Jan 31 - 10:44 PM

DeMarcus Cousins fouled out in 38 minutes against the Pacers on Saturday with 20 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, three steals and four turnovers.

He made 6-of-24 from the field and all eight from the line. Cousins' last two fouls were not very smart with a tug of Roy Hibbert's arm for his fifth and an offensive one for his sixth. He looked a little tired late and the Kings went to him throughout the game. The good news is that his ankle injury didn't seem to bother him. He's arguably the best starting center in fantasy.
Jan 31 - 9:24 PM

Michael Carter-Williams left Saturday's game against the Hawks with an ankle issue but has since returned.

He simply had his ankle re-taped and it's not expected to be anything serious. However, the 76ers are known to be cautious with their players, so we will be sure to monitor his status closely in the coming days. If MCW is forced to miss any action, Larry Drew II would have to step up in a big way as the only other point guard on the roster.
