Victor Oladipo scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks in 31 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Get used to this, folks. Oladipo is already putting up monster lines and he hasn't even been truly handed the car keys yet. He banged his left (non-shooting) wrist during the game but we haven't heard anything about it since and it's unlikely to be serious.

Khris Middleton posted 23 points with 14 rebounds and 10 assists across 40 minutes Saturday at Philadelphia for his first-career triple-double.

Middleton did a good job picking up the slack with Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) sidelined. The Greek Freak will be out again on Monday, so Middleton has a chance to put up another monster stat line against the visiting Suns, a team that owns the worst scoring defense in the NBA. You'll want Middleton in your DFS lineup for that one, too.

Wayne Selden exploded for a career-high 31 points in 27 minutes against the Pelicans on Saturday, adding two rebounds, two assists and five 3-pointers.

That 31 destroyed his previous career-high of 13. He was the star of Las Vegas Summer League and he was expected to be the favorite to start opening night, but a quad injury in October kept him down for most of this season so far. Andrew Harrison (shoulder) didn't play today and it's not like he's totally safe, so maybe Selden gets some additional run. He's still more of a 16-team flier for now, but there is opportunity for him if you want to see how this pans out.
Jan 20 - 9:29 PM

Wayne Ellington scored 26 points in the starting lineup against the Hornets on Saturday, adding three assists, one steal and six 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

He looked great in the first unit today and he certainly is going to give coach Erik Spoelstra something to think about as a possible starter even when Goran Dragic (knee) can return. Ellington has the greenest of lights and is up to 3.0 treys per game on the year, and now he's starting to see minutes in the 30s to increase his season average of 25.3 minutes per game. He's worth owning in standard leagues right now.
Jan 20 - 9:29 PM

JaMychal Green (right ankle) will not return to Saturday's game against the Pelicans.

He suffered the injury much earlier in the game, but he wasn't ruled out until the fourth quarter. Hopefully, this injury isn't going to cost him too much time, but getting ruled out in a close game is discouraging. Green's bad injury earlier this year was to his right knee. He finished with eight points, 16 rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes. Jarell Martin and Ivan Rabb will be filling in for him tonight with Martin being worthy of a speculative add in deep leagues.
Jan 20 - 8:57 PM

Joe Ingles back in the starting lineup against the Clippers on Saturday.

Revenge game? Rodney Hood (leg) is not going to play today because of a leg contusion, so Ingles is right back in the starting lineup after he was bumped on Friday. He'll continue to flirt with around top 100 value in standard leagues.
Jan 20 - 8:26 PM

Nemanja Bjelica is starting for Jimmy Butler against the Raptors on Saturday.

It's been a while since we've seen Bjelica play small forward and he's had some big games in that role. The Wolves have a massive hole to fill on Jimmy, so Bjelica may be a speculative add in deeper leagues. Expect more Tyus Jones and Shabazz Muhammad to help out, too.
Jan 20 - 8:13 PM

Jamal Crawford (toe) will not play against the Raptors on Saturday.

It's being called a left great toe sprain and not much else is known. With Crawford out, Tyus Jones will probably see some SG minutes while Marcus Georges-Hunt could also help out.
Jan 20 - 8:06 PM

Jimmy Butler (knee) will not play against the Raptors on Saturday.

This comes out of nowhere after Butler played a whopping 42 minutes on Thursday night. The team is calling it a sore right knee, so this could be a lingering issue for one of the league's hottest players. Butler has had problems with his left knee, but he hasn't had any noteworthy injuries to his right since 2013. With him out, Andrew Wiggins will have to shine while Shabazz Muhammad and maybe even Marcus Georges-Hunt steps up.
Jan 20 - 8:05 PM

Rodney Hood (leg) will not play on Saturday against the Clippers.

His leg injury from Friday night will keep him out of action in a back-to-back set. Leg injuries have been a thorn in the side of Hood for years now and he's not exactly a fast healer either. Plus, there's a chance the Jazz are being cautious because he's reportedly on the trade block. He's still probably worth owning in 12-team leagues, though. Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson should pick up some run.
Jan 20 - 7:22 PM

Paul George scored 36 points with seven rebounds, two assists and five 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

The Cavs forgot to guard PG-13 in the first half and he hit a slew of tough shots in the second half to put this game out of reach. George has been a complete scorer for most of this month with 20 points per game since Dec. 31 even before this explosion, but his usage is slightly down due to some others taking more shots. Even if the usage remains down, George looks like he's ready for a strong finish this season.
Jan 20 - 6:47 PM

Russell Westbrook was too much for the Cavs on Saturday during a 148-124 win, scoring 23 points, nine rebounds, 20 assists, two steals, five turnovers and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes during the 148-124 win.

He shredded the Cavs guards with some beautiful kick-out passes for open shots. Westbrook also used his left hand a lot during this game, which isn't unusual for a guy who writes with his left hand. His 3-point attempts continue to drop and that's helped him maintain a respectable 49.1 percent from the field over his previous 10. Westbrook is getting hot at the right time.
