Michael Carter-Williams had another stat-stuffing line on Saturday with 21 points, seven boards, 13 assists, two steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers on 9-of-17 shooting.

Considering the shooting line, this was arguably his best outing of the season. Carter-Williams also made all three of his attempts from beyond the arc and the Cavs didn't really honor his shot much, but he did make six of his nine field goals inside the paint. He's making the most of his opportunity and has a great chance for Rookie of the Year.

Tony Allen (illness) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Celtics.

With Allen out, Courtney Lee is going to get all the minutes he can handle. Vince Carter could also see some extended minutes off the bench, but Lee offers the most upside. Allen went through parts of shootaround today, so he shouldn't be out much longer, and we'll consider him questionable Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.
Nov 21 - 7:57 PM

Updating a previous item, Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is available to play against the Raptors.

Just when you thought the Bucks weren't going to do their usual misinformation dance, they go ahead and do it. Coach Jason Kidd is making us miss Larry Drew, which is no small feat. Antetokounmpo might not play, but maybe he plays 47 minutes. Who knows?
Nov 21 - 7:42 PM

Omer Asik (back) is expected to start against the Nuggets on Friday.

He was questionable for tonight after missing the last two games. Asik probably won't see many minutes and figures to be in the mid 20s tonight. He's not a must-start player even in a favorable matchup. Alexis Ajinca could lose some minutes.
Nov 21 - 7:33 PM

Bradley Beal will again come off the bench on Friday.

It's really only a matter of time until Beal takes back his job with the starting unit, and the Wizards are simply easing him back into the rotation. Beal was able to put up 21 points over just 26 minutes of action during his last outing, to go with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists, two turnovers, and a steal, so he's going to get his whether he's starting or coming off the bench. He has a favorable matchup tonight vs. the Cavs, so owners can go ahead and roll him out there.
Nov 21 - 7:25 PM

Corey Brewer will get the start against the Spurs on Friday.

As expected, he'll join Mo Williams, Andrew Wiggins Shabazz Muhammad and Gorgui Dieng against the champs. Brewer should pick up around eight minutes and could be in the mid-30s tonight while minutes should be dispersed to Muhammad, Anthony Bennett, Chase Budinger and Robbie Hummel tonight. Brewer is worth owning in standard leagues.
Nov 21 - 6:49 PM

Jerryd Bayless will start on Friday night alongside Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, and Larry Sanders.

This will be Bayless' first night as a starter for the Bucks, but he hasn't been doing much lately, scoring four, nine, and two points in his last three outings. He'll have some increased opportunity tonight with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, but on such a busy night, owners in standard leagues can probably do better than Bayless.
Nov 21 - 6:43 PM

Russell Westbrook (hand) will go through some non-contact portions of Saturday's practice, and he'll be re-evaluated on Nov. 29.

Westbrook has been progressing well, without any setbacks, and going through non-contact portions of practice will be the next step. Westbrook's initial timetable has him returning Dec. 2 vs. the Pelicans at the earliest, but we'll have a more firm date after he is re-evaluated. Stay tuned.
Nov 21 - 6:40 PM

Kevin Durant (foot) will go through a non-contact practice on Saturday.

He is getting closer to a return and has gone through some shooting drill. Durant is still a couple weeks off his original prognosis, but it's great to see he hasn't fallen behind. If you drafted him in the first round, this is all you can ask for from the best player in fantasy hoops for each of the last five seasons.
Nov 21 - 6:34 PM

Andre Roberson will start on Friday, sending Jeremy Lamb to the bench.

Roberson is a defensive specialist for the Thunder, so he doesn't bring too much to the box score. He's averaging 6.0 points and 6.0 rebounds with the starting unit, and his minutes will be capped at 20 tonight, so he doesn't really belong on an active roster outside of extremely deep leagues.
Nov 21 - 6:23 PM

DeMarre Carroll (groin) will be in the starting lineup against the Pistons.

He returns from a four-game absence and has been practicing for the past couple days. Carroll should be close to his 33.8 minutes per game and he'll look to build off his 1.8 triples per game on the season. He's not a must-start guy, but he should be owned in standard leagues.
Nov 21 - 6:03 PM

Evan Fournier (heel) will return to the starting lineup on Friday, sending Willie Green to the bench.

Fournier has been impressive this season, averaging 17.3 points and 2.3 three-pointers per game, however, he does have a difficult matchup tonight vs. the Hornets. Willie Green can be cut in all formats with the return of Fournier.
