James Harden (foot) will not play against the Sixers on Wednesday.

He tried to warm up and the team ruled him out just moments later. Harden has dealt with foot injuries for about a week and his defense has been atrocious on the year. He should be considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Knicks. Coach Kevin McHale hasn't been shy about putting Patrick Beverley and Jeremy Lin on the court together, so that will likely be a remedy to missing their bearded star. Francisco Garcia could also get some more chances to knock down triples.

Trevor Booker (illness) returned from a one-game absence in Monday's 118-113 loss to the Wizards and double-doubled with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

He didn't miss a beat, shooting 6-of-9 from the field with one assist, one steal, two blocks and four turnovers in 31 minutes. Booker has been a stud all season and his owners should be pumped that his minutes are safe following the news that the Rockets matched the Nets offer for restricted free agent Donatas Motiejunas.
Dec 5 - 11:04 PM

Paul Millsap returned from his hip injury on Monday and played well, racking up 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and a 3-pointer on 8-of-14 shooting.

Finally. Millsap wasn't playing well before his injury and owners in weekly leagues had a tough decision to make with him. He came through tonight and looked like vintage Millsap, so hopefully he's over his injury and his knee is also feeling better. As for the Hawks, they are reeling, losers of seven straight games and 10 of their last 11.
Dec 5 - 10:53 PM

John Wall scored 25 points with 13 assists in Monday's 118-113 win over the Nets.

The win snaps a two-game losing streak for the Wizards. Wall was a limited participant at practice on Sunday due to a thigh contusion, but he sure looked healthy on Monday. He shot 10-of-19 from the field with one rebound, three steals, one triple and four turnovers while hitting all four of his free throws. He did play 36 minutes, so it will be interesting to see if the Wizards decide to limit his minutes against the Magic on Tuesday for the second night of a back-to-back set.
Dec 5 - 10:44 PM

Metta World Peace will start in the backcourt alongside Brandon Ingram on Monday vs. the Jazz.

Jose Calderon (hamstring) is out 2-4 weeks, while D'Angelo Russell (knee) will be re-evaluated on Tuesday. MWP is basically in the starting five in order to keep Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams with the second unit. Brandon Ingram will draw the start at point guard.
Dec 5 - 10:29 PM

X-rays taken on J.R. Smith's left knee came back negative.

The Cavaliers will re-evaluate his status on Tuesday morning, so that's when his owners can expect a timetable. Iman Shumpert played 20 minutes against the Raptors on Monday, but he scored just two points and is not a great add in most formats. Smith hasn't been playing well at all lately and is not a must-own player in standard leagues.
Dec 5 - 10:05 PM

Richaun Holmes had 11 points, eight rebounds and two blocks on 5-of-8 shooting in just 18 minutes on Monday.

With centers Joel Embiid (rest) and Jahlil Okafor (stomach) both out on Tuesday, Holmes looks like a really sneaky play tomorrow night.
Dec 5 - 10:02 PM

Michael Beasley was ejected on Monday vs. the Spurs with two technical fouls.

He was involved in a shoving match with Davis Bertans because he took exception to a shove on Greg Monroe by Dewayne Dedmon. Beasley finished with eight points on 3-of-3 shooting with one rebound and one block in 13 minutes.
Dec 5 - 9:57 PM

Andrew Bogut (right knee) will not return to Monday's game vs. the Hornets.

The Mavericks will likely run some tests on him and there should be another update after the game. He was ruled out about 10 minutes after he went down with the injury, so that's usually not a good sign. If you're in a deeper league and need a big, Dwight Powell and Salah Mejri should both be on your radar.
Dec 5 - 9:23 PM

Andrew Bogut (leg) left Monday's game vs. the Hornets and went back to the locker room.

It's being called a lower right leg injury for now and he should be considered questionable to return. If Bogut misses time, both Dwight Powell and Salah Mejri should benefit the most. Stay tuned.
Dec 5 - 9:10 PM

Larry Nance (right knee contusion) is available on Monday vs. the Jazz, but he may not play.

Coach Luke Walton said Nance is "ready to go if we need him," but Walton would prefer if the forward got some extra rest. In case it needs to be said, Nance doesn't belong in fantasy lineups Monday. Thomas Robinson will likely remain in the rotation Monday.
Dec 5 - 8:52 PM

J.R. Smith has a left knee injury and will not return to Monday's game vs. Toronto.

According to Cavs reporter Dave McMenamin, Smith has been favoring that knee for a while. He had a noticeable limp on his way to the locker room and the Cavs ruled him out pretty quickly, so that's not a good sign. Iman Shumpert and Mike Dunleavy will have to step up, but neither player is an add in standard leagues just yet.
