Chandler Parsons scored 22 points in a win over the Knicks on Thursday to go with two boards, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 7-of-11 shooting in 37 minutes.

He was terrific tonight and didn't turn the ball over while making all six free throws. The Rockets have been comfortable in using him at power forward in various situations and Parsons is obviously over his slow start that included nine- and 10-point games. His owners should sit back and enjoy the ride.

Taj Gibson (ankle) will warm up and see how he feels before deciding his status for Thursday's game vs. the Knicks.

Dec 18 - 6:29 PM

Amare Stoudemire will dress against the Bulls on Thursday.

He was expected to rest, but the Knicks are simply running out of bodies. This doesn't necessarily mean he is going to play, so his owners will want to keep their eyes peeled. Unless he is in the starting lineup, it's probably best to steer of this situation. If you were planning on using Jason Smith, Quincy Acy or even Travis Wear in daily, you might want to dial back your expectations for now. Stay tuned as we provide updates leading to tip.
Dec 18 - 6:20 PM

Derrick Rose (illness) will not play against the Knicks on Thursday.

He was questionable for the game due to an illness and this will snap his 11-game streak of playing in games -- his longest since his ACL tear. Rose should be considered questionable for Friday against the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, Aaron Brooks is an interesting option as a plug-and-play guy. Kirk Hinrich will likely start.
Dec 18 - 6:19 PM

The Celtics have agreed in principle to deal Rajon Rondo to the Mavericks in exchange for Brandan Wright, Jameer Nelson, Jae Crowder and two draft picks, according to ESPN.com.

It's certainly not a deal like the one the Jazz received for Deron Williams, the Nuggets got for Carmelo Anthony or the Magic pulled off for Dwight howard, but there are assets here. Of course, the Celtics lost a lot of their leverage because of Rondo's poor play and ACL tear, so it's not a bad deal. As for Rondo's fantasy value, he's in major trouble. He is likely going to have to give up some ball-handling responsibilities, so he is likely to lose his current lead for assists per game. Rondo has only held No. 129 value on the season in standard leagues, so it's going to be awfully tough to deal him.
Dec 18 - 6:03 PM

Boston and Dallas are reportedly discussing a deal that would send Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, and a first-round draft pick to Boston in exchange for Rajon Rondo.

That would be a nice haul for the Mavericks, and Boston's frontcourt would become even more confusing with Wright, Kelly Olynyk, Tyler Zeller, and Brandon Bass all vying for minutes. Rondo would join one of the most crowded backcourts in the NBA, and he would essentially kill the value of Jameer Nelson. If this trade goes through, it’ll be interesting to see if Rondo and Monta Ellis can co-exist. Marcus Smart will become the Celtics' starting point guard when Rondo is dealt (if another point guard doesn't come back), and he is worth stashing in all leagues. Stay tuned.
Dec 18 - 5:26 PM

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Gay has been playing through his Achilles tendinitis for some time now, so we'd expect him to give it a go. With Omri Casspi (knee) already ruled out, Gay will get all the minutes he can handle in a favorable matchup against the Bucks, and he makes for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues.

Dec 18 - 4:28 PM

Larry Sanders has been suspended for Thursday's game against Sacramento for pushing Nicolas Batum in the back as he elevated towards the basket.

That means that Zaza Pachulia is going to get all the run he can handle with Sanders, John Henson (foot), and Ersan Ilyasova (nose) unavailable, and he makes for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Johnny O'Bryant may see some extended minutes off the bench, but he's still working himself into basketball shape, so Zaza is the guy to target here.
Dec 18 - 4:14 PM

Reggie Evans (knee, hip) will not play Thursday vs. the Bucks.

Evans suffered the injuries during Tuesday's game vs. OKC, and there is currently no timetable set for his return. With DeMarcus Cousins expected to return on Thursday, there's not much reason to hold onto Evans, and he can be cut in most leagues. Carl Landry and Derrick Williams will likely see some extended minutes, but neither makes for a great plug-and-play option.

Dec 18 - 4:02 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. the Bucks.

Cousins' return would send Reggie Evans back to the bench, and Jason Thompson's value would take a hit. All signs are pointing towards Cousins giving it a go on Thursday, and he's obviously a must-start option when in uniform. Stay tuned for an official update as we draw closer to tip-off.

Dec 18 - 3:56 PM

Tony Parker (hamstring) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. Portland.

Parker remains without an official timetable to return, and Cory Joseph will continue to start as long as Parker is sidelined. Manu Ginobili will also be tasked with some extra ball-handling duties running the offense in the second unit.
Dec 18 - 3:51 PM

Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. Portland.

This will be Leonard's second consecutive game out of the lineup due to his sore hand, and we'll consider him questionable for Saturday's game vs. Dallas. Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, and Danny Green will be asked to pick up the slack while Leonard is sidelined, and all those guys figure to be decent plug-and-play options in daily leagues.
