James Harden (bruised foot) returned to the lineup in a 109-106 win over the Knicks on Thursday and made a living at the line, making 16 of his 18 attempts on his way to 36 points, nine boards, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

In an interview on TNT, he did say he was playing through foot pain tonight and it hurt when he was cutting. Additionally, he went down in the fourth quarter after being twisted around, then getting elbowed in the face. Harden went to the bench for only a couple minutes and returned to the game without anything noticeably wrong. The 24-year-old guard should be ready for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.

DeMarcus Cousins suffered a leg injury against the Rockets on Wednesday and did not miss time, finishing with 29 points, 17 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and seven turnovers in 37 minutes.

After the game, he said his knee is sore, but he will be fine for Friday against the Spurs. Cousins has put the team on his back over his last seven and has a usage of at least 36 percent in five of those games, which led to averages of 25.0 points, 14.3 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.9 blocks on 52.4 percent from the field and 83.3 from the line. He is a monster and is basically unstoppable.

Lou Williams may have had a revenge game against the Hawks on Wednesday during a win, making 6-of-11 from the field for 22 points with two assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

He's so hot right now. Perhaps no bench player is performing at his level, averaging 24.3 points, 1.8 boards, 2.3 steals, 3.5 treys and 0.5 turnovers on 50.0 percent from the field and 96.4 percent from the line in his last four. We'd be lying if we said we saw this coming, but he's just too hot to leave on the wire right now.
Nov 27 - 12:35 AM

Jeremy Lamb caught fire in 24 minutes of action vs. the Jazz, scoring 21 points on 7-of-8 shots including three 3-pointers, while adding four boards, two assists, three steals and one block.

Lamb also turned the ball over three times before fouling out of the game in a frenetic performance that earned him a loud ovation from the home crowd in OKC. He was averaging 6.0 points in just 16.7 minutes in his past three games and it's futile to guess when he might explode off the bench. Most fantasy owners would be best served ignoring him, especially with Kevin Durant (foot) and Russell Westbrook (hand) on the verge of returning.
Nov 27 - 12:02 AM

LeBron James looked like an MVP in a huge 113-87 win over the Wizards on Wednesday, making 7-of-14 from the field and 14-of-17 from the line for 29 points with 10 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

He's starting to get it going and his assists have jumped up to 8.4 per game over his last five to go with averages of 22.0 points, 5.0 boards, 1.8 steals and 1.6 triples. James is still nowhere near the player he was from an efficiency standpoint, but that should be coming in short order. He's still a top-five player in fantasy and the mainstream NBA fans can probably relax after tonight's convincing win. Additionally, the Cavs are 6-1 when LeBron scores 25 or more while they're 1-6 when he doesn't.
Nov 26 - 11:55 PM

Jose Calderon blew up vs. his former team on Wednesday, notching season highs with 21 points, seven 3-pointers, 10 rebounds and four assists in a tough loss to the Mavericks.

Calderon came in averaging just 8.0 points and 4.0 assists in his first two games of the season, following an extended absence due to a calf strain. He showed zero signs of rust tonight, nearly carrying the Knicks to an upset win despite the absence of Carmelo Anthony (back spasms). Calderon's extraordinary efficiency and unquestioned starting job make him a must-start fantasy PG, and his owners' only concern should be whether he can stay healthy.
Nov 26 - 11:24 PM

The Mavericks snapped their two-game losing skid with a 109-102 win vs. New York on Wednesday, led by Dirk Nowitzki's season-high 30 points.

Dirk hit 11-of-24 shots including one 3-pointer, and he made all seven of his free throw attempts to prevent a disappointing loss to the short-handed Knicks. The veteran chipped in six rebounds, two assists and three steals without a single turnover in 39 minutes, and he continues to rack up top-15 fantasy value without any signs of slowing down.
Nov 26 - 11:22 PM

Tyson Chandler hauled in a season-high 25 rebounds on Wednesday, while making 7-of-12 shots to finish with 17 points, one steal and two blocks in 43 minutes vs. the Knicks.

Chandler was three boards shy of his career high and New York simply had no answer for him in the paint. "You can't always try to outscore the other team every single night," Chandler said before the game. "Some nights, you're going to rely on your defense." He did it all in this game, grabbing 10 of his boards on the offensive end, and he's been an absolute steal for fantasy owners through the Mavs' first 16 games.

No Williams (illness) will travel with the Wolves for their upcoming West Coast trip.

Considering he has pink eye and strep throat -- two highly contagious illnesses -- Williams figures to play on Friday against the Lakers. There's not much of a reason to pick up Zach LaVine for that game.
Nov 26 - 10:55 PM

Jamal Crawford's hot streak continued on Wednesday as he came off the bench for a team-high 25 points on 8-of-16 FGs and 6-of-6 FTs.

Three of Crawford's makes came from downtown, and he chipped in three boards, four assists, two steals and a block to round out a phenomenal fantasy line. His 44.5 percent shooting would be the third-highest mark in his 15-year career, and he's paying off in a big way for fantasy owners who snagged him in the late rounds.
Nov 26 - 10:52 PM

D.J. Augustin made his second straight start on Wednesday, finishing a loss to the Clippers with 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, six assists and three turnovers.

Augustin played 35 minutes in another fill-in start for Brandon Jennings, who remains day-to-day with a sprained thumb. This was easily D.J.'s best and most complete game of the season, and it's hard to recommend him as a pickup considering Jennings could return as soon as Friday's home game vs. Milwaukee.
Nov 26 - 10:49 PM

Andre Drummond piled up 17 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes during a tough loss to the Clippers on Wednesday, making 6-of-11 FGs and 5-of-9 FTs.

The Pistons as a team came in shooting a putrid 41.3 percent from the field, and they were without the services of starting PG Brandon Jennings again tonight. Drummond has been one of the biggest culprits, as his typically stellar FG percentage has fallen to 43.4 percent this year, but he's turned things around by shooting a combined 17-of-26 (65.4 percent) in Detroit's past two games. This was also his first game of the season with at least four combined steals and blocks, and fantasy owners' patience is beginning to pay off.
