Andre Iguodala (hamstring) said he felt a pop and he "can't even walk" following Friday's game.

He added that he "knew it was serious." The team will have an MRI on his hamstring to check for the severity of damage done to his muscle. He seems unlikely for at least the next few games. Harrison Barnes will take over at small forward upon Stephen Curry's return to the lineup, which could be as soon as Saturday.

Russell Westbrook went to the locker room with a hand injury and is questionable to return.

No. Way. He subbed himself out and didn't look to be in any serious pain, but he didn't hesitate in coming out of the game. Additionally, some fan said something to him on the way to the locker room that made him angry. We'll update his status as soon as the information becomes available and he's likely getting X-rays right now.

Josh Smith settled for way too many contested jumpers against the Wolves on Thursday, making 5-of-16 from the field for 10 points with seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 30 minutes.

He said he doesn't "respond to nobody with dreadlocks who plays basketball" and called Kenneth Faried "a clown" after Faried said Smith shot them out of Wednesday's loss. Well, Smith basically did the same thing again today and really killed a Detroit rally. The shift to power forward hasn't helped his shot selection much.
Oct 30 - 11:05 PM

D.J. Augustin played 33 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday, making 6-of-18 from the field for 20 points with three rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer.

Brandon Jennings played the first 11 minutes of the game and just five minutes to start the third quarter, but the rest was all D.J. at the point. It would appear the plan for Augustin is to play 25-28 minutes per game as it stands right now, so he should have low-end value in standard leagues with that allotment.
Oct 30 - 10:53 PM

Caron Butler had his long-distance plan working on Thursday with 24 points, eight rebounds and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Wolves.

He started out 0-of-3 in the first half, but was knocking down open looks throughout the second half. Butler is going to split time at small forward with Kyle Singler, so a big line like this one won't be a regular thing. He's still a decent low-end option in deeper leagues.
Oct 30 - 10:49 PM

Brandon Jennings played just 16 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday, scoring four points with two rebounds and six assists on 2-of-4 from the field.

His minutes are in deep, deep trouble. For the first three halves of the season, coach Stan Van Gundy basically played Jennings for the first 10 minutes of the half and would then go with D.J. Augustin for the rest. However, Jennings picked up a third foul early in the third quarter, picked up a technical foul, and was sent for the bench for good. He's not a must-own player anymore.
Oct 30 - 10:45 PM

John Wall turned it on down the stretch in Thursday's 105-98 win over the Magic with 30 points, five rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

He took it to Elfrid Payton tonight and had everything working. Wall had some turnover issues in the season debut, but he kept those down to just two tonight. No player had more total assists than Wall last year and he should have a chance to repeat.
Oct 30 - 10:21 PM

Nikola Vucevic was the focal point of the Orlando offense against the Wizards on Thursday, making 11 of his 21 from the field for 23 points, 12 boards, three assists and one steal.

He has been tremendous at establishing position on the low block and looks to be improving in his third year with significant playing time. Vucevic didn't block any shots tonight, but he might be able to see a mild uptick this season. He'll be a strong No. 1 center in fantasy leagues.
Oct 30 - 9:51 PM

Evan Fournier played 34 minutes in the starting lineup against the Wizards on Thursday, making 8-of-10 from the field for 21 points with four rebounds, one steal and three 3-pointers.

He had a disappointing start to his season on Wednesday and bounced back nicely. Fournier should have a good month of production while Victor Oladipo (face) is out and will be worth starting in most formats.
Oct 30 - 9:43 PM

Corey Brewer and Andrew Wiggins will remain in the starting lineup with Kevin Martin (ankle) coming off the bench.

The team confirmed an earlier report that Martin would indeed come off the bench, but we still don't know why. Martin might not be at 100 percent, so this move may not stick. We'll let you know how they all fare tonight, but Brewer doesn't look like a great fantasy option.
Oct 30 - 7:49 PM

Josh Smith said on Thursday that Kenneth Faried is "a clown."

"Quote me on that," Smith added. Faried said Smith "shot them out of the game" on Wednesday, which triggered this response. There should be more to the story here, but Faried wasn't a clown on the stat sheet with a 22-point, 17-board game in a win.
Oct 30 - 7:23 PM

Kevin Martin (ankle) is expected to play against the Pistons on Thursday, but he is not listed as the starter.

He missed the opener due to an ankle sprain in Tuesday's practice and did try to warm up for that game. Martin is hurt quite often and the Wolves may keep his minutes in check in his first game back, which may explain why he's not starting. If he starts, Corey Brewer is likely headed back to the bench. Martin and Brewer are not must-own players while Andrew Wiggins owners will be hoping for a better showing tonight.
