Victor Oladipo matched his career-high five steals in Wednesday's 105-94 win over the Sixers, scoring 18 points with three boards, five assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 42 minutes.

He only played 29 minutes last night due to foul trouble, so the 42 minutes tonight just show how committed the Magic are to their rookie. He did have eight turnovers and that problem won't be going away soon, though. That said, Oladipo is in a groove over his last five, averaging 15.8 points, 4.4 boards, 4.2 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 triples in 34.8 minutes.

Boston and Dallas are reportedly discussing a deal that would send Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, and a first-round draft pick to Boston in exchange for Rajon Rondo.

That would be a nice haul for the Mavericks, and Boston's frontcourt would become even more confusing with Wright, Kelly Olynyk, Tyler Zeller, and Brandon Bass all vying for minutes. Rondo would join one of the most crowded backcourts in the NBA, and he would essentially kill the value of Jameer Nelson. If this trade goes through, it’ll be interesting to see if Rondo and Monta Ellis can co-exist. Stay tuned.

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Gay has been playing through his Achilles tendinitis for some time now, so we'd expect him to give it a go. With Omri Casspi (knee) already ruled out, Gay will get all the minutes he can handle in a favorable matchup against the Bucks, and he makes for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues.

Larry Sanders has been suspended for Thursday's game against Sacramento for pushing Nicolas Batum in the back as he elevated towards the basket.

That means that Zaza Pachulia is going to get all the run he can handle with Sanders, John Henson (foot), and Ersan Ilyasova (nose) unavailable, and he makes for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Johnny O'Bryant may see some extended minutes off the bench, but he's still working himself into basketball shape, so Zaza is the guy to target here.
Dec 18 - 4:14 PM

Reggie Evans (knee, hip) will not play Thursday vs. the Bucks.

Evans suffered the injuries during Tuesday's game vs. OKC, and there is currently no timetable set for his return. With DeMarcus Cousins expected to return on Thursday, there's not much reason to hold onto Evans, and he can be cut in most leagues. Carl Landry and Derrick Williams will likely see some extended minutes, but neither makes for a great plug-and-play option.

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. the Bucks.

Cousins' return would send Reggie Evans back to the bench, and Jason Thompson's value would take a hit. All signs are pointing towards Cousins giving it a go on Thursday, and he's obviously a must-start option when in uniform. Stay tuned for an official update as we draw closer to tip-off.

Tony Parker (hamstring) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. Portland.

Parker remains without an official timetable to return, and Cory Joseph will continue to start as long as Parker is sidelined. Manu Ginobili will also be tasked with some extra ball-handling duties running the offense in the second unit.
Dec 18 - 3:51 PM

Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. Portland.

This will be Leonard's second consecutive game out of the lineup due to his sore hand, and we'll consider him questionable for Saturday's game vs. Dallas. Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, and Danny Green will be asked to pick up the slack while Leonard is sidelined, and all those guys figure to be decent plug-and-play options in daily leagues.
Dec 18 - 3:41 PM

Jordan Hill (upper respiratory infection) did not practice on Thursday, but he is being listed as probable for Friday's game vs. OKC.

This is Hill's second consecutive missed practice, but he doesn't appear to be in jeopardy of missing Friday's game. Still, owners will want to check back for an official update closer to Friday's tip, and if he's unable to go, Robert Sacre, Ed Davis, and Carlos Boozer will help fill the void. Stay tuned.
Dec 18 - 3:24 PM

Danny Green (foot) was spotted limping to the Spurs' locker room after Wednesday's triple-overtime loss, but he's still expected to play Friday vs. Portland.

"I'm not considered one of the older guys here, so I have to play," said Green. After a very up-and-down season last year, he's hitting career-highs in all categories this season, and he's entered elite territory. Check back for an official update on his status closer to Friday's tip, but consider him probable.
Dec 18 - 3:15 PM

Carmelo Anthony stated during Thursday morning's shootaround that he's had multiple people tell him he should consider sitting out for an extended period of time.

"I've had multiple people say kind of just shut it down or just take time off," said Anthony. "At the end of the day it's hard for me to just do that right now with what's happening with the team. So I'm just trying to be smart about it." The Knicks currently own a record of 5-22, and each loss gives Carmelo another reason to shut it down instead of risk further injury. Tim Hardaway Jr. is looking more and more like a must-own player.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Kings.

If Giannis isn't able to go, Khris Middleton, O.J. Mayo, and Jared Dudley would be in line for extended minutes with Middleton and Mayo offering the most upside. Stay tuned.
