Will Bynum's MRI revealed a strained adductor muscle in his left hip, and there is no timetable for his return.

Bynum hasn't been a reliable fantasy asset this season, averaging 8.3 points on 41.4 percent shooting, with 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rodney Stuckey will continue to pick up more playing time in his absence.

Tony Parker (hamstring) could get an extended break to recover from his hamstring strain.

"It keeps coming back," coach Gregg Popovich said of Parker's hamstring strain. "That’s not good, so we’re just going to sit him out for a while." The last thing the Spurs want is their point guard hurt in the playoffs, so it sounds like Parker could miss multiple weeks. Of course, the Spurs have declared Parker out for an extended period of time and he's come back sooner in previous years, so it's all a guessing game. Regardless, Cory Joseph is worth a look in all leagues.
Dec 26 - 7:11 PM

Kobe Bryant (general soreness) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Mavs, but coach Byron Scott likes Kobe's chances of playing Sunday vs. the Suns.

Kobe was doubtful heading into this one, so this news shouldn't come as a surprise. "I just need to kind of hit the reset button," said Bryant. "What happens is my body realizes how messed up it is. Then everything starts hurting. It’s an opportunity to treat everything." While Kobe is sidelined, Nick Young, Wes Johnson, Wayne Ellington, and Carlos Boozer will all see some increased opportunity on offense.
Dec 26 - 7:02 PM

Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis will play against the Lakers on Friday.

Dirk missed shootaround today and was questionable for this one. There is no worth on how much he will play, but the Mavericks are not on a back-to-back set or anything. He should be ready to roll for his fantasy owners in a great matchup tonight.
Dec 26 - 6:54 PM

Boris Diaw (illness) will be available to play Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Diaw picked up a DNP-CD on Thursday, but coach Gregg Popovich explained he was dealing with a 100-degree fever, and was suffering a bit of strep, and his decision to withhold him from Thursday's game was to have him available for Friday. However, Diaw will likely be limited tonight playing through an illness, and given the difficult matchup, he's not a very attractive option in daily leagues.
Dec 26 - 6:51 PM

Coach Gregg Popovich said everyone is good to go for Friday except for Tony Parker (hamstring), Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Patty Mills (shoulder).

The Spurs are not playing their best ball these days and are going to need a win against the Pelicans tonight more than usual. Duncan should see his normal playing time, but anything goes with Pop. We'll be on the lookout for the starting lineups a bit later.
Dec 26 - 6:46 PM

John Henson (foot) is expected to play against the Hawks on Friday.

He's been out for a month and hasn't played more than 21 minutes in a game all season, so the Bucks probably won't unleash him even with Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) and Larry Sanders (illness) out. Henson also doesn't play much power forward, so fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach.
Dec 26 - 6:43 PM

Patrick Beverley (illness) will play against the Grizzlies on Friday.

He was listed as questionable before today, but Beverley is one of the toughest players in the NBA. He's good to go as a mid-round play. Additionally, if you were thinking about playing Mike Conley in daily fantasy leagues, you might want to reconsider.
Dec 26 - 6:40 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Rockets, and is doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Heat.

This will be Randolph's third consecutive game out of the lineup, and his minutes will be split up between Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos. If Leuer gets the start he can be a decent plug-and-play option in daily leagues, but his value takes a real hit when he comes off the bench. Koufos, however, can only be viewed as a blocks and boards specialist in very deep leagues.
Dec 26 - 6:27 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) is getting closer to playing and was at shootaround on Friday, but he will not play against the Hornets.

It sounds like Sunday is a possibility for KD, but it's pretty clear the Thunder won't be rushing him back. Expect to see a lot of Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson against the Hornets. Perry Jones will start and is only a play in deep leagues.
Dec 26 - 6:27 PM

Tristan Thompson will start at center against the Magic on Friday.

The Cavs don't really draw up plays for him, so most of his output on offense is going to come off the offensive glass. For what it's worth, he only has a usage rate of 15.1 when he's on the floor with LeBron James and Kevin Love. He's a decent bet for a double-double with not much else.
Dec 26 - 6:20 PM

Matthew Dellavedova will start against the Magic on Friday in place of Kyrie Irving (knee).

While he will get plenty of minutes, Dellavedova is not going to be handling the ball too much and will likely act more like a shooting guard. He has a tiny usage rate of just 11.6 this season, so don't expect him to score much. Dellavedova is still a punt play in DFS or in deep leagues.
