Eric Bledsoe is expected to start alongside Goran Dragic on Tuesday, after coming off the bench in the Suns' previous two games.

Gerald Green will likely slide to the bench to make way for Bledsoe, who missed six games with a bruised shin but no longer has any limitations. Green's numbers are lower across the board in five games as a reserve this season, so his probable bench role on Tuesday is bad news for his fantasy owners.

Gerald Green started the second half on Friday.

His left ankle tweak doesn't look like it'll be an issue for coach Brad Stevens' rotation, which has been very odd and perhaps too deep.
Apr 21 - 8:26 PM

Gerald Green went to the locker room in the second quarter on Friday and he is available to return.

He just went to go get re-taped and came running out from the locker room about 10 minutes later in real time. If he's limited, the Celtics may go with more Marcus Smart because of how the small-ball lineup worked early.
Apr 21 - 7:56 PM

Gerald Green is starting for Amir Johnson in Game 3 on Friday.

Wow. This is basically uncharted waters for the Celtics with the Green, Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder and Al Horford lineup playing together for just 16 minutes this season -- they had a +1.8 net rating, for what it's worth. Coach Brad Stevens stressed rebounding, but he looks like he'll try to go with a smaller, faster lineup to offset that issue. Green will be a risky DFS play, but the four-fingered assassin has shown he can get hot in a hurry.
Apr 21 - 5:35 PM

Isaiah Thomas has rejoined his teammates and will play in Game 3 on Friday.

He was expected to fly into Chicago on Thursday night following his trip to Washington for his sister's funeral. Thomas is coming off a subpar game with only 20 points in 42 minutes, so it'll be easy to root for him in a bounce back game. He's also had a tougher time against Rajon Rondo (thumb), so the Celtics are in good shape today.
Apr 21 - 3:42 PM

Jusuf Nurkic (right leg) has been upgraded to doubtful for Game 3 against the Warriors on Saturday.

Progress. Nurkic has said he's been pain free for over a week, but it sounds like he'll be out for at least one more game. Nurkic suffered the injury about a month ago, but non-displaced leg fractures have a wide range for a prognosis. If he's out again, Moe Harkless, Noah Vonleh, Al-Farouq Aminu and Meyers Leonard should soak up most of the minutes at the PF and C spots.
Apr 21 - 3:19 PM

Kevin Durant (calf) went through practice on Friday and is questionable to play against the Blazers in Game 3 on Saturday.

Coach Steve Kerr said that if KD isn't 100 percent, the Warriors would be cautious with him. Durant posted a video on his YouTube page to show some treatment on his calf, and he also admitted he could've played in a must-win scenario. Considering how long the playoffs go, the Warriors may opt to hold Durant out for most of the first round. If he's out again, Andre Iguodala, Ian Clark and Patrick McCaw should pick up some added playing time.
Apr 21 - 2:36 PM

Coach Fred Hoiberg said that Rajon Rondo (fractured thumb) is currently in a cast and that he will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

Rondo initially suffered the injury in the third quarter of Game 2 on Tuesday night but was able to play through it. When asked if Rondo would be able to make it back at some point this postseason, Hoiberg said it is "still too early to tell." Hoiberg also stated that Rondo has been playing through a wrist injury as well and explained that the cast would help the wrist heal by immobilizing it. Jerian Grant and Michael Carter-Williams will soak up most of the minutes at PG, and Jimmy Butler will be asked to handle the ball more frequently.
Apr 21 - 11:48 AM

Jerian Grant will start at point guard in place of Rajon Rondon (thumb) in Game 3 vs. Boston on Friday night.

Grant started 28 games for the Bulls during the regular season. He averaged 8.0 points (on 44.4 percent shooting), 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 21.1 minutes over those 28 contests. Grant is worth DFS consideration on Friday due to his affordable price tag, but expectations should be held in check. Jimmy Butler will assume increased ball-handling responsibilities with Rondo sidelined. Michael Carter-Williams will backup Grant. Cameron Payne, who has yet to play in this series, will be active for Game 3 and could see a handful of minutes off the bench as well.
Apr 21 - 11:44 AM

The Bulls announced on Friday morning that Rajon Rondo has a fractured thumb and that he will be sidelined indefinitely.

Per the Bulls press release, "Rondo injured his right hand in Game 2 at Boston on Tuesday night. Rondo underwent a subsequent exam and x-rays that confirmed a thumb fracture. Surgery is not required for this injury, and he is out indefinitely." This is a tough blow for a Bulls team that was riding a major wave of momentum. Rondo had been playing terrifically over the first two games of the series, averaging 11.5 points, 10.0 assists and 8.5 boards. Jerian Grant will likely move into the starting lineup. Michael Carter-Williams will see extended minutes off the Bulls bench as well.
Apr 21 - 11:08 AM

Kevin Durant (strained left calf) said that he is "getting better every day" and that "hopefully" he will be able to play in Game 3 vs. the Blazers on Saturday.

Durant provided an update via a YouTube live streaming session. "Felt like I could go [in Game 2], but Coach [Steve] Kerr and the training staff and the whole organization told me it would be best to give it a few days rest," said Durant. "So hopefully I see how I feel these next couple days." The extra day of rest should benefit KD. However, the Warriors blew out the Blazers in Game 2 even without Durant, so they have no need to rush him back. We should get a formal update from the team on Friday afternoon.
Apr 21 - 9:32 AM

Mike Conley scored 24 points during a 105-94 win over the Spurs on Thursday, adding one rebound, eight assists and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

After the game, coach David Fizdale said he wanted to figure out how to get Conley loose, so he did just that with Conley going 7-of-13 from the field and making all eight from the line. The max-contract guard did struggle more on his two-point shots in the first two games, but he put Tony Parker on skates throughout this win. He dominated as an offensive weapon for the final two months of the season, so expect to see another strong game in Game 4 on Saturday as the Grizzlies look to level this series.
