Latest Headlines

Zaza Pachulia (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers.

This will be Pachulia's second straight game on the sidelines after aggravating the shoulder injury in a five-minute stint on Wednesday, and for now we'll be considering him questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks. JaVale McGee figures to draw another start and Jordan Bell will have the opportunity for some more minutes, while Draymond Green will see his minutes in the high-30s.
Dec 11 - 2:19 PM

Rodney Hood (sore left ankle) is targeting a return to the court for Wednesday's game in Chicago.

Hood has missed seven straight games with a sore ankle, so it's about time he gets back to the court. He may be brought along slowly after a two-week absence, but it'll be interesting to see how he impacts Alec Burks minutes once he's fully up to speed. Expect to get more than a few updates on Hood leading up to Wednesday's tip.
Dec 11 - 2:07 PM

Nikola Jokic (ankle) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Pistons.

This will be his sixth game in a row on the shelf and it's a little worrying that he's getting ruled out a full day before a game once again. After Tuesday, the Nuggets have one more game on the road in Boston on Wednesday before returning home to face the Pelicans on Friday. Kenneth Faried and Trey Lyles have both made some noise in Jokic's absence, while Mason Plumlee has been relevant as well. As usual, it's impossible to predict what coach Mike Malone's rotations will look like.
Dec 11 - 1:55 PM

Tristan Thompson (calf) is expected to return to action on Tuesday vs. the Hawks and will come off the bench.

This would be his first action since Nov. 1. Thompson was expected back much sooner, but he experienced too much soreness after ramping up his workload in practice. Thompson will likely have restrictions and wasn't playing well before the injury, so he's only worth a look if you're targeting rebounds in a deep league.
Dec 11 - 1:28 PM

Jeremy Lamb (shin contusion) and Frank Kaminsky (right ankle sprain) will play on Monday vs. the Thunder.

Nicolas Batum (elbow) is out on Monday and could miss additional time, so it's time to pick Lamb up if he was dropped in your leagues. Associate Head Coach Stephen Silas expects Lamb to start if he's feeling good, but we won't know for sure until after warmups. Lamb has averages of 16.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.7 triples as a starter this season.
Dec 11 - 1:19 PM

Nicolas Batum (elbow) will not play on Monday vs. the Thunder.

His owners probably saw this coming after Batum's comments on Sunday. He said his elbow has really bothered him since he returned three weeks ago and that he's "always" in pain and "not even close to 100 percent." With the Hornets sliding in the standings, his owners have a lot to be concerned about. Jeremy Lamb (shin contusion) is expected to start in Batum's place and should be picked up if he was dropped in your league. Treveon Graham, Malik Monk and Dwayne Bacon are all candidates to see a handful of minutes as well.
Dec 11 - 1:18 PM

Aaron Gordon was able to do some full-court sprint work on Monday and is hopeful to play on Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Gordon has a "mild" concussion and will have to pass a series of tests without symptoms before he can clear the protocol. "I'm showing no symptoms," Gordon said. "I feel good. So I'll leave up to the doctors." This is a great sign if he's already sprinting and it sounds like he has a really good shot of playing against Los Angeles.
Dec 11 - 1:13 PM

Jameer Nelson (left ankle) will not play on Monday vs. Houston.

With Nelson on the shelf during Sunday's game vs. Philly, Rajon Rondo, Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore each played 37 or more minutes with Ian Clark picking up 13 minutes. It's unclear how long Nelson will be sidelined, but he was trending down anyways with Rondo getting into a rhythm.
Dec 11 - 1:06 PM

Anthony Davis (left adductor) is questionable for Monday's game vs. Houston.

Davis had his minute restrictions lifted on Sunday and played 40 minutes, but he appeared to aggravate the same injury that sidelined him for three games. He also jammed his right hand on the rim, but that's not mentioned on the injury report. If Davis can't go, DeMarcus Cousins and Jrue Holiday will do the heavy lifting on offense, while Dante Cunningham and maybe Omer Asik would pick up a handful of minutes.
Dec 11 - 1:00 PM

Updating a previous report, Paul George (calf) is going through some drills at Monday's morning shootaround.

The previous report was that George wasn't at the shootaround, but that's no longer the case (maybe he was late due to treatment). He's still considered questionable to play on Monday vs. the Hornets and is probably going to be a game-time call. As previously noted, Alex Abrines will be a streaming option if George sits after scoring 20 points with six 3-pointers in his last game.
Dec 11 - 12:26 PM

James Harden is probable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans with a bruised left calf.

Harden is remarkably durable and this injury sounds very minor, so we're fully expecting him to play and to see his normal allotment of minutes. We'll have confirmation that he's in the starting lineups after warmups tonight. The Pelicans have allowed the eighth most fantasy points to SGs this season, so Harden should be able to eat if his injury doesn't hold him back.
