Reggie Jackson hit just 4-of-19 shots in his first start for Russell Westbrook (knee) on Friday, and finished with 10 points to go with six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one three in 30 minutes.

Jackson is still ceding too many minutes to Derek Fisher (18 minutes, three points, two boards, that's it) but the 19 attempts are a great sign and he'll eventually get the shooting number straightened out. He's a must-own and must-start player going forward.

Darren Collison was spotted in a suit on Friday night.

It sounds like he's out and we're still waiting for the official word. Collision has missed the last two games with a quad strain/contusion. Stay tuned.
Nov 28 - 8:27 PM

Isaiah Thomas (ankle) will not play Friday vs. the Nuggets.

With Thomas sidelined, Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe will get more than their usual allotment of minutes, and Gerald Green will see some extended minutes off the bench. Rookie G Tyler Ennis will also join the active roster, but he's a negligible fantasy option. Green makes for a sneaky play in daily leagues as the team's primary offensive weapon off the bench.
Nov 28 - 7:43 PM

Rudy Gay (Achilles) and Darren Collison (quad) are listed as probable to face the Spurs on Friday.

Now it sounds like they're going to play unless coach Mike Malone pulls a Tom Thibodeau. Gay owners will still want to check back for an update in the next 30 minutes. Omri Casspi would only be a handcuff in deep leagues if Gay does make it back.
Nov 28 - 7:26 PM

Ryan Hollins will start at center in place of DeMarcus Cousins (illness) on Friday.

He's played a whopping 11 minutes all season and just one minute in the last seven minutes combined. Hollins getting minutes in the 20s would be a huge surprise and he is not a fantasy option tonight. Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams figure to benefit the most.
Nov 28 - 7:15 PM

Matt Barnes (calf) will start against the Rockets on Friday night.

He is coming off a two-game absence due to an aggravation to his calf. The Clippers will probably monitor his minutes, so he's not a fantasy option. Reggie Bullock will move back to a reserve and has no fantasy value.
Nov 28 - 6:42 PM

John Henson (foot) will not play on Friday night, and coach Jason Kidd does not expect him to be available for Saturday's game either.

With both Henson and Zaza Pachulia (personal) unavailable, Larry Sanders will get all the run he can handle, with Ersan Ilyasova and Giannis Antetokounmpo seeing some minutes backing up the center position. Sanders has been coming on lately, and could make for a solid low-budget play in daily leagues tonight with a favorable matchup vs. the Pistons, and a healthy heaping of minutes coming his way.
Nov 28 - 6:40 PM

Pacers' head coach Frank Vogel revealed for the first time that in addition to George Hill's knee contusion, he is also dealing with a tear in his left quad and is not expected back until mid-December.

Vogel said that the tear did not show up in the initial MRI because there was too much blood, but that is the reason Hill has been out for so long. C.J. Watson is expected to make his season debut Friday night, and it's not known exactly how that will affect Donald Sloan's minutes. However, given Sloan's solid play so far this season, he'll likely remain in the starting lineup as Watson is eased back into the rotation, and he should remain be held in standard leagues until something changes.
Nov 28 - 6:37 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) will not play against the Clippers on Friday.

The Rockets are going to have to start Tarik Black and Donatas Motiejunas against DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin. Howard does not have a timetable to return and his fantasy owners should have him firmly on their benches.
Nov 28 - 6:30 PM

David Lee (hamstring) will not play Friday vs. the Hornets, as expected.

He was doubtful headed into this one, so this news isn't very surprising. Lee is targeting a return for Tuesday vs. Orlando, or Thursday vs. New Orleans, but he'll likely be on a minutes restriction upon his return. Stay tuned.
Nov 28 - 6:23 PM

Austin Rivers will start at shooting guard against the Hawks on Friday night.

He was coming off the bench with Darius Miller starting, but apparently coach Monty Williams is going to run an extremely tight rotation tonight. Eric Gordon only had a 16.1 usage while in the starting lineup before his injury, so that's probably about where Rivers will be. There is very little to like about his upside in most leagues.
Nov 28 - 6:08 PM

Carmelo Anthony (back) will not play against the Thunder on Friday.

There is a lot of talk of the team sitting Melo down for a while to get him to 100 percent. Anthony did do some pre-game shooting before this contest, so perhaps he does come back soon. His fantasy owners will want to bench him in all leagues. J.R. Smith will get plenty of shots and maybe he can make some. Man Shumpert and Jose Calderon should have bigger roles, as well.
