Celtics coach Brad Stevens said that Jared Sullinger (hand) could have returned in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game.

Sullinger fell hard on his hand, possibly aggravating a pre-existing bruise and sprained ligaments, but neither he nor Stevens seemed concerned after the game. "Kelly [Olynyk] and [Kris Humphries] had a roll. I don't know why I would've gone back in," Sullinger said, whose hand was heavily wrapped. He doesn't expect to miss any games but as a precaution we'll keep him listed as questionable for Thursday's game.

Kosta Koufos and the Kings agreed to a four-year, $33 million deal.

The Kings were able to pry Koufos away from teams like the Clippers, but they did have to pay up for a backup big man. Coach George Karl was a fan of Kosta in Denver and he may use him at power forward. He fared very well at rim protection last season, but that was in a terrific Memphis system. Koufos wasn't able to step up in three starts last season, so he doesn't have great handcuff value. Plus, he only had an 11.5 usage rate as a power forward next to Marc Gasol last season. The Kings have arguably the best center in basketball, but they drafted a center at six and their biggest contract of the offseason was also to a center.

Kyle O'Quinn and the Knicks have agreed on a four-year, $16 million deal.

He couldn't get playing time with Jacque Vaughn, but maybe he can with Derek Fisher. O'Quinn is a solid defender when he's not fouling everything with a basketball and should be a useful backup to Robin Lopez. That said, a four-year deal seems odd for KOQ.

Jordan Adams carried the offensive load against the Nets during an 81-73 win on Saturday, adding five rebounds, one assist, three steals and three turnovers.

He was on fire to start the game, but the Nets defended him better in the second half. Adams is a go-to scorer when he's on, but the Grizzlies just don't have room for him to be a regular contributor.
Jul 4 - 6:53 PM

Roy Hibbert will be traded to the Lakers.

The two teams are working on the specifics of the deal. While Hibbert is a nice fit next to Julius Randle, his style of play is going to clash with D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson. It's still unknown what the Lakers will give up in the deal, but it's not expected to be much because of Hibbert's $15.5 million salary next season. Maybe a change of scenery will help Hibbert, so he's worth a look late in drafts.
Jul 4 - 5:59 PM

Frank Kaminsky filled the stat sheet against the Thunder on Saturday, scoring 19 points with 12 rebounds, two steals and four 3-pointers on 7-of-19 from the field.

He did fold down the stretch and missed his final five shots from the field, but he was very effective on the offensive side. Kaminsky's defense wasn't as bad as expected, but he didn't really have to guard any high-caliber players in this loss. The Hornets are going to give him every chance to succeed this season.
Jul 4 - 4:54 PM

Elfrid Payton struggled with his shot during a 75-74 overtime win over the Clippers on Saturday, making 3-of-10 from the field for seven points with two rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and five turnovers.

He's been working on his jumper a lot and it was looking good in practice, but it didn't translate today. Payton did have some confidence and he was on balance more often in this game. He's still a mid-round player to think about in standard leagues.
Jul 4 - 3:08 PM

Aaron Gordon started his summer league with a bang against the Clippers on Saturday, scoring 22 points with 18 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two 3-pointers.

The bad news here is he only made 4-of-10 from the line, so that continues to be a big problem for him. He had a lot of confidence in his mid-range jumper, which was a big question for him coming into this offseason. Gordon is an athletic freak and has length to defend, so an improved jumper would go a long way. That said, he's really in a tough spot for playing time with Tobias Harris coming back.
Jul 4 - 3:05 PM

Mario Hezonja hit a game-winning 3-pointer during overtime in his summer league debut, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers.

His 3-pointer was from two feet behind the line and it was nothing but net. Hezonja plays with a lot of swagger and his first step was on full display. He also had a wrap-around pass and a no-look dish in transition. The rookie wasn't very active off the ball, but it'll come. He might be your favorite rookie in no time.
Jul 4 - 2:59 PM

Rodney Hood was held out of practice on Saturday due to a sore left shoulder.

Hood has battled several injuries in his brief NBA career, and he only managed to make 50 appearances during his rookie season. Hood has plenty of talent and is a legitimate threat from 3-point range, but he will need to stay healthy in order to fight for minutes with Alec Burks. It's probably a minor issue and the Jazz have every right to be cautious, but we will update Hood's status when we know more.

Moments after agreeing to terms with LaMarcus Aldridge, the Spurs are aggressively pursuing David West with a veteran minimum offer.

Wow. It's safe to say that the Spurs are the clear winners of the free agency period so far, and they would deserve some serious credit if they are able to land West on a minimum deal. West turned down a hefty player option with the Pacers so he could play for a contender, so it will be interesting to see if he will accept a serious discount to play for the Spurs. The Cavaliers are still considered the frontrunners for West and the Wizards are also in play, so this story is far from over.
Jul 4 - 12:33 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, LaMarcus Aldridge will sign a four-year, $80 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs.

First things first, the Spurs are going to be scary next season. Tim Duncan will likely slide over to center to allow Aldridge to play at the four, and this could also mean that Duncan will be more willing to re-sign for a couple more years. The Spurs tend to monitor their starter's minutes down the stretch, so it's not unreasonable to think that Aldridge could see a slight dip in production next season. Regardless, Aldridge will be an elite asset in fantasy leagues.
