Damian Lillard hit 13-of-24 shots and seven 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 41 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists, a block and six turnovers, and also hit 8-of-8 free throws in Tuesday's loss to the Kings.
It's hard to believe the Blazers lost on a night when Lillard turned into Stephen Curry, but it almost didn't happen. He hit 7-of-11 shots, five 3-pointers and seven free throws in the last quarter alone for a total of 26 points, breaking the franchise record of 25, previously held by Terry Porter, who did it in 1992. Lillard's not going to get you assists like a normal point guard, but he more than makes up for it with his scoring and 3-pointers. He's bonkers right now, averaging 26.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 4.6 3-pointers over his last five games.
