John Henson (ankle) will not play against the Bulls on Friday.

It will be his sixth consecutive game out of the lineup. Henson ramped up his activity in Thursday's practice, but the team is in no rush to bring him back. He was playing well before the injury and his owners should continue to stash him despite the murky situation with his lack of playing time next to Larry Sanders.

Garrett Temple is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is out for the season and Temple and Matt Barnes will likely see the biggest bump in minutes. Temple doesn't have great upside, but he did put up averages of 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season. Give him a look if has a strong game tonight.
Jan 20 - 7:58 PM

Chandler Parsons (rest) will not play against the Kings on Friday night.

He has not looked right at all and the Grizzlies are on a home-home back-to-back, so this isn't surprising. James Ennis is likely to get the start while the Grizzlies give a few extra minutes to Troy Daniels and Tony Allen. Parsons may be the most annoying player to own, so feel free to cut him.
Jan 20 - 7:33 PM

Noah Vonleh started over Al-Farouq Aminu on Friday against the 76ers.

Well, coach Terry Stotts is at it again. The Blazers are on a back-to-back set, so that might be a factor. There's no fantasy move to be made with this late switch and it won't stick.
Jan 20 - 7:12 PM

Evan Turner is starting in place of Moe Harkless on Friday vs. the 76ers.

Talk about a late lineup switch. The Blazers announced a starting lineup change five minutes before tip-off. Harkless hasn't been 100 percent lately and the Blazers play again on Saturday vs. Boston, so maybe the idea here is to monitor his minutes tonight. Harkless' owners shouldn't panic, but it wouldn't be a complete shock if he got the night off completely.
Jan 20 - 7:10 PM

Ty Lawson (ankle) said he will play against Memphis on Friday night.

He went through warmups and apparently everything went well. The Kings were ditching their two-PG lineups earlier this month, but it may be back out of necessity due to the Rudy Gay (Achilles) injury. Garrett Temple is still worth a look in standard leagues even though he'll play more two and three.
Jan 20 - 6:57 PM

Sean Kilpatrick and Trevor Booker will rest against the Pelicans on Friday.

It's the front end of a back-to-back set and Kilpatrick will get his first rest day. For tonight, there will be more minutes going to Caris LeVert, Joe Harris, Bojan Bogdanovic and Rondae-Hollis Jefferson. Kilpatrick has lost a lot of his luster and isn't worth owning in standard leagues. By the way, expect rest coming for other Nets on Saturday.
Jan 20 - 6:41 PM

Norman Powell will start and Pascal Siakam will move to the bench against the Hornets on Friday.

With the Raptors thin on power forwards, it makes sense. This will allow DeMarre Carroll to guard a smaller four in Marvin Williams to open up minutes for Powell and Terrence Ross. Powell has been great as a starter, but he's still a slight risk to use even at his cheap price. Carroll is good to go.
Jan 20 - 6:38 PM

Montezl Harrell will get the start against the Warriors on Friday night.

With Nene resting and Clint Capela limited to 11 minutes in the last game, Harrell should play a bunch. That said, the Rockets will likely be going small quite a bit in this game and Capela will get more than 11 minutes tonight. We still think Harrell is a very good bet for 24-plus minutes, which makes him a very intriguing target. He should remain owned in standard leagues.
Jan 20 - 6:25 PM

Ryan Anderson (illness) will try to play on Friday against the Warriors.

He was not feeling good at shootaround and was headed to get an IV. In other words, there's a decent chance he can't play his normal minutes tonight. If he can't go, we should see more Sam Dekker and Corey Brewer while Trevor Ariza plays the four.
Jan 20 - 6:19 PM

C.J. Watson will start at shooting guard against the Bucks on Friday.

With Evan Fournier (foot, heel) and Jodie Meeks (thumb) out, the move makes sense as coach Frank Vogel sticks with his rotation. After the Meeks injury, the shooting guard minutes breakdown went 10 minutes for Watson, seven minutes for D.J. Augustin and three minutes for Mario Hezonja. Watson should get the bulk of the minutes at shooting guard, but he's a very risky DFS play or pickup in deep leagues. We'll see if Mario gets some SG minutes tonight, but he's not a pickup just yet.
Jan 20 - 5:22 PM

Patrick Patterson (knee) and Lucas Noguiera (concussion) will not play against the Hornets on Friday night.

We'll see if the Raptors are going to play Jared Sullinger a little more, but it's unlikely to be much more than his 14 minutes. Pascal Siakam should get some added run at power forward, but the Raptors could definitely go small a lot against a smaller four in Marvin Williams.
