The Magic failed to contain Anthony Davis on Sunday, as the Pelicans' star racked up 22 points, a career-high 19 rebounds, three assists, two steals, seven blocks, and one vicious dunk over Glen Davis.

Nikola Vucevic (concussion) was unavailable and the Magic started an undersized frontcourt of Big Baby and Tobias Harris, so Davis used his athleticism and length to dominate the paint on both ends of the court. Davis' fantasy owners have been reveling in his production all season, as he's averaging 20.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 3.0 blocks with solid shooting percentages.

Updating a previous report, Larry Sanders (flu) will not suit up for Monday's game vs. the Hornets.

The Bucks will also be without Ersan Ilyasova (concussion), so Zaza Pachulia is going to get all the minutes he can handle, with John Henson and Johnny O'Bryant seeing some increased opportunity. Sanders is not currently traveling with the team, so we'll consider him questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Cavs. He’s been very disappointing this season, and can no longer be considered a must-own guy in standard leagues.
Dec 28 - 3:44 PM

Alec Burks (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Rodney Hood started the last game that Burks was sidelined, but only managed to put up four points on 1-of-8 shooting from the field, so he's not much of an option in most leagues. Trey Burke however ended up logging 37 minutes, putting up 17 points on 5-of-18 shooting, but it's worth noting that he was playing against the 76ers. With a difficult matchup against the Clippers, Burke doesn't look like a great option on Monday, despite the increased opportunity.
Dec 28 - 3:31 PM

The 76ers have announced that the x-rays that were taken on Nerlens Noel's ankle following Saturday's game have come back negative.

Noel was able to return after briefly leaving Saturday's game when he came down awkwardly on his ankle, so it doesn't look like this is going to be an issue moving forward. However, the 76ers are known to be extremely cautious with their "star players," so we'll be considering Noel questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Warriors. If he sits, look for Henry Sims, Robert Covington, and Furkan Aldemir to help fill the void.
Dec 28 - 3:15 PM

Kyrie Irving (knee) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons, but head coach David Blatt is hopeful to have him available for Tuesday's game vs. the Hawks.

We'll be monitoring Irving's status closely heading into Tuesday's game, but for now, Matthew Dellavedova will continue to start at point guard for the Cavs. Dellavedova isn't a part of the Cavs offense, and won't be a very attractive option in daily leagues. Dion Waiters is probably the biggest beneficiary sans Irving, and he looks like a nice plug-and-play option with a favorable matchup vs. Detroit.
Dec 28 - 2:55 PM

Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Hornets.

With Larry Sanders (illness) also being listed as questionable for this one, the Bucks frontcourt will be manned by a collection of Zaza Pachulia, Johnny O'Bryant, and John Henson, with Zaza offering the most upside of the group. Ilyasova remains without an official timetable to return, and a concussion forced him to miss 21 games last season, so owners may want to consider looking for other options.
Dec 28 - 2:41 PM

Kobe Bryant (soreness) will return to the starting lineup for Sunday's game vs. the Suns.

Bryant's return to action will send Wayne Ellington back to the bench, and take away some touches from Carlos Boozer. Kobe will be limited to 30 minutes tonight, but that's plenty of time for him to put up stats in an up-tempo game with Phoenix. He's obviously a must-start option every time he's in uniform, so go ahead and get him active.
Dec 28 - 2:17 PM

J.R. Smith (heel) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. Portland.

He has had some tough luck with plantar fasciitis and has now missed nine straight games so don't be surprised if he sits this one out. Owners in standard leagues can continue to ignore Smith while Tim Hardaway Jr. is definitely worth a look in all leagues. Stay tuned.
Dec 28 - 1:55 PM

Chris Bosh (calf) was able to participate in all of Sunday's practice, and is expected to be re-evaluated on Monday to determine his status for their game against the Magic.

The Heat have been in shambles without him, going just 3-5 in his absence so it will be great for them to get him back. Bosh's owners will have to check back on Monday before activating him in their lineups, but things are finally starting to look up. Bosh's return would spell trouble for the value of Shawne Williams (foot) and Chris Andersen.
Dec 28 - 1:46 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) will not play in Sunday's game against the Mavericks.

This will be his sixth straight game out of the lineup and it is clear that KD's ankle is a real concern. However, he was able to go through shootaround on Sunday so it is safe to assume that he is somewhat close to returning. Perry Jones will likely get another start but is not an attractive option in most leagues. We will pass along further updates as needed.
Dec 28 - 11:56 AM

Carmelo Anthony's status for Sunday's game with Portland is unclear after he logged 46 minutes on Saturday in a loss to the Kings.

We will leave him off of the injury report for now, but owners will want to check back for updates considering how much his knee has impacted him this season. The Knicks have no reason to risk Anthony's health considering how their season has gone, so be prepared to have a backup plan ready. Owners would be wise to sell-high before it's too late, as there is a real possibility of Melo shutting it down for the season in the near future. Expect Tim Hardaway Jr. to take as many shots as he pleases if Melo sits this one out.
Dec 28 - 10:04 AM

Amare Stoudemire (knee) is doubtful to play on Sunday vs. Portland.

To be clear, we don't think that he has any real shot to play in this one and Amare admitted that he is really struggling with his knee. "I’ve been playing with a little soreness for the past week or so and been playing somewhat through it," Stoudemire said. "By doing that, it made it worse. I’ll try to rest and see if it gets better." Owners can check back before tip-off to verify, but plan on seeing extended minutes from Quincy Acy, Jason Smith, and Cole Aldrich if Amare sits.
